Eubank is absolutely spot on here about the weight - when the fight was announced I could not believe that it was actually getting sanctioned. I have seen first hand what fighters have to do to make weight - it is not something that should ever be messed around with to the degree that it was going to be. Roy Jones Jnr is a case to point - ironically he has been Eubank's trainer - when he came down from 14 stone 4 or so to fight back down at light heavy - it essentially ended his career as an elite fighter - and he was one of the best ever. It should not even have been considered. If Eubank junior and Connor Benn weren't the offspring of two British legends and had followed the same career path - the fight would not have even registered as a possibility. Boxing is dangerous enough without using it like a plaything - which is increasingly happening.
Fake news RE: Roy Jones - he'd just avoided quality opposition for years, and got found out. Tarver splattered him, and always would have done.
@@louduva9849what you saying!! Roy jones wasn’t decent 🤔🤔 imo Roy jones was an outstanding boxer, who just went on to long. Maybe he got beat by tarver because he was so good as youngster, and took him to lightly both times, or maybe on the slide then because he peaked so young.

Say what you want, the man knows what he's talking about and I love listening to him. Even the poetry and quotes. You don't just pick that stuff up on the street or out with your mates. He's studied all that and put 💯 percent of his hard work and discipline into all that just like his boxing training back in the day. Very impressive man. Knows his shit big time.
