What would it take for you to "get the humour" ? Are you expecting maybe Jerry Lewis? I can''t even talk to someone like you. Just go watch a soccer match.
Why do these consummate professional insist on playing music outside of their purview? They don't swing okay. It's like a ballerina dancing in a mosh pit.
@@brucekuehn4031 I spoke too soon. I give it another listen and realized this is a serious work instead of some attempt at playing jazz. They still can't swing but that's not what this is about. My apologies.
The trombone guy is so full of energy I love it
This quintet is the very embodiment of what a brass ensemble should sound.
Joe Collins.
Did you just sign a RUclips comment
+Joe Collins I will love and cherish your comment for the rest of my life. I will have your signature framed on my wall.

Thanks for uploading this video with my dad on trumpet. Very much appreciated!
Fantastic musicality paired with absolute skill!
No where to hide. What a wonderful sound - individually and together!
Interesting comment. You're right, any flaw or error will certainly be more obvious than being in the middle of a full orchestra!
Frits Damrow, trumpet
Peter Masseurs, trumpet
Josper de Waal, horn
Jorgen van Rijen, trombone
Perry Hoogendijk, tuba

What a great quintet!
Crespo makes very nice arrangements......
It is really fun to play this! Especially the high C and the swing!! Yay
Brings me back to high school band days..
I love the string quartet style of playing these guys employ. Very different from the twisted steel and sex appeal of many other groups.
I really want to play this someday
How cool the tuba is...
I have to practice more and more
Have you played it yet?
Amazing!!!!! Thank you for share
R.I.P. Enrique Crespo

Swing? This isn’t Benny Goodman, it’s Enrique Crespo - founding member German Brass Ensemble, born in Uruguay in 1941, died in Germany in 2020.

Why dont they stand up ?
It’s really not the best for the Tubist and Horn player to stand. Other brass quintets do stand, of course, but this group’s decision is to sit.
@@michaelfoxbrass Tuba sure, but standing is at least as comfortable as sitting for a horn player.
