Is it worth Juno or Lucio boosting out of spawn of flashpoint maps now? Or is it better to wait until the speed boost is out? Can you check what’s the fastest way to get to the point now
@@moryanreddy7189 easy answer is no, since both are instant sources of damage, and orbital ray doesn't provide any damage reduction or the like. This is why Lucio Beat is better than Zen's Transcendence in those situations; you need more effective health in a single instant, not healing over time.
It works the same way as most other ults. The only way to cancel it is pixel perfect casting while juno casts hers - it happened to me in ranked yesterday
8:29 FYI, Kitsune Rush amplifies the rate of fire by 50%, so more healing & damage can be done, but Orbital Ray doesn't amplify the rate of fire in any way, it just amplifies damage and heals the team
I think the reason the proton torpedoes don't track Tracer after recall is because for a brief moment, Tracer doesn't exist. This also explains why teleporting or blinking don't stop the torpedo, as the target still exists, just instantaneously moving from one spot to another.
recalling and blinking follow the same logic. recalling pulls tracer backward in time, while blinking pushes her forward in time. so if torpedos can’t track her while she’s recalling for that reason, they couldn’t track her while she’s blinking.
well yeah, in terms of gameplay, it doesn’t track because when tracer recalls it loses LOS. i took the comment to be more in terms of lore and how it would work in the OW world lol
Just FYI: Dva’s bomb does benefit from the hyper ring’s speed. I already threw it a couple of times through it by mistake and it messes up the landing.
internally, its treated somewhat like a projectile the workshop projectile speed modifier affects its movement speed, and it cant be touched by hook, sleep, mercy beams, moira orbs, etc, like a projectile
Fun fact about RIP-Tire, it's not a detectable entity. It's position is only calculated for if it can take damage and kill. You can't even change its interaction in any Custom Workshop games.

Her entire kit seems to be geared on pushing forward or falling back, and nothing on holding your ground... a speed boost, a heal/damage beam that goes forward, fast forward momentum on flight and a torpedo that requires a wide line of sight on your teammates and enemies
The likeliest reason why Juno's Hyper Ring gets stopped by ice wall and flower, but not by projectile stoppers is because it's not a projectile, but it actually works something like an ice wall, where all you need is line of sight (and since ice wall and flower break your line if sight, they stop the Hyper Ring). And the animation doesn't actually do anything - it's there for flavour. So, if my theory is correct, then that explains every single interaction Hyper Ring has in this video
it is. there is no projectile, the little projectiles u throw out are just effects. my guess is the game checks for line of sight further and further in the same speed the projectiles go, so if line of sight is blocked, the projectiles stop and the normal ring happens, and since wall and flower are both actual objects, they stop it, also likely happens for torb turret and any other player made object
Probably not. Healing torpedos behave differently than damage ones. Main diference is that healing can go through walls while damage has collision and explodes on any contact
Yeah I think the healing torpedoes are like LW's blossoms, not exactly projectiles because they go through walls but can still be blocked by enemy shields or matrix. So my guess is Genji can't deflect them.
I think Juno is going to be a success for 99% of players. She's fun to play with a lot of movement CDs and impactful abilities, she doesn't feel bad to have on your team because her healing is easy and automatic in the case of missiles, she doesn't feel oppressive to have on the enemy team since she doesn't have some sort of invincibility CD, her Ult makes you wanna go in there and wreck stuff, etc. But she's not quite meta for the highest level of play due to where she fits within the main/flex support dynamic and that's fine.

Does junker queens commanding shout stack with hyper ring as well as Lucio’s speed boost too
With sombras trans locator not losing torpedo LoS but tracer recall does is probably because she instantly reappears but recall has tracer untargetable for a second
Are these "myths" or just "we test juno interactions and tell you the results"?
Literally this
It needs testing, but yeah it's hardly myths.
It probably got inspiration from Mythbusters so that's why they're called myths
its a word thats easy to google when youre looking for this type of content
Sombra's EMP is still being useless as usual since the nerf
Sombra can emp BLIZZARD but not a 12 second cooldown that looks and works similar
I had a game where I saw moira fade and it still tracked her
It's kinda weird how EMP doesn't destroy the ring.
best settings for Juno video coming when??? (pretty please)
Torpedoes doesn't track tracer after recall make sense since tracer travelled back in time before torpedoes start lock on her
Are you going to do a 1 tip vs every hero for Juno?
i feel like a lot of these interactions were just not thought of by the devs. like how does hyper ring not get eaten by defense matrix? and why cant sombra emp it? also it feels like the hyper ring should speed up throwables like symm turrets
Can you cancel the hyper ring deployment animation with stuns or hack?
yes. i use workshop alot and i already did that
I knew all these already
Extremely minor nitpick but these are more like questions with a yes or no answer, not so much a statement that can be confirmed or busted. Totally just semantics, though.
Heres my rant about Juno
Why cant they write an extraterresterial character that doesnt act like starfire from teen titans? Also in one of her map voice lines she says she drank soy sauce in a restaurant. Are you telling me that an asian character who grew up with their asian parents didnt have soy sauce? And how does she not know what a sauce is?
In her cinematic she literally kicked her boot to fix it, and you cant tell me that shes "been training her whole life for this" and still forgot that her gun would propel her backward when shooting.
The character lore-wise is so silly and boring its actually funny
1:13 waaait,, you can tear through a tank so fast
