Hey Rob did you get a 1” lift or 1/2” lift from the P265/7516 tires? I know the size is 1” bigger in diameter but not sure of the lift size from the ground Thanks
Great tip if you like your wheels and don't like to clean them, ceramic coat them and it makes it a lot easier just to dust them off. Will also protect the color finishes.
Rob are you getting any rub with this setup? I saw from another video you have a slight lift on the front and stock in the rear correct? I’m looking at -6 offset wheels on 265/75/16 wildpeaks. Your black rhinos are -10, any issues?
Hey Rob I have a stock SR5 2016 Tacoma with 245/75/R16 tires. I was thinking about buying wheels before tires because I just really dislike the look of the oem wheels. Do you think it’s worth it to buy wheels first or should I wait until I can buy bigger tires and then purchase the wheels? Either way I’m probably sticking with a 16 inch wheel. Thanks!
I have a 2015 Tacoma PreRunner V6 TRD Off Road 2WD Double Cab short bed ( w/ factory tow package option). Can you advise if I'm ok putting the stock P265/65R/17 wheels and tires on it without doing any lift or spacer mods? The stock wheels on it now are P265/70R/16s. Do you think this would rub or drive worse at all with no mods? Thx
I'll never understand why people put black wheels on there truck they take all these all beauty out of the truck the only place I like a brushed aluminum is on the rims I know you don't like any crome anywhere Rob but to each his own good luck
Aluminum brushed wheels are incredible. They are also incredibly expensive. Chrome is just old school, looks tacky. Black wheels look rugged and don’t show dirt like steel. Most of the head turning trucks/jeeps I see on the road have fat wheels that take over the look of the rim. Fat tires with fancy large wheels look ridiculous. The tire should be larger than the wheel as far as I am concerned with trucks.
@Russell Morash I agree with you. Black wheels destroy the looks of a vehicle. They look dirty all the time. I have a Tacoma TRD Sport and it’s wheels are unique for this body style. The brushed aluminum and gloss black on those 17 inch rims look great. I went with a taller tire but stayed the same width. Faulkner Wildpeak AT3 265x70R17’s fill the wheel well and look great on the stock rims.
@@lc7192 I have matte black black wheels on my Tacoma and they don't really show dirt like aluminums because dirt is black! Unless you have gloss black what are people talking about?
@@robob221 It's the exact opposite actually. Dirt dries gray and shows on darker vehicles much more than light. A white car will look cleaner much longer than a black one, simply because dirt doesn't dry black. Dirt comes in literally every other color accept black, and my MGM 3rd gen never stays clean for long.
Great video Rob. I had black wheels on my last Tacoma. I have bronze wheels now on the Taco. Cleaning wheels has always been a breeze. No big tires yet but yes you always have to consider rubbing also better shocks and arms. Not sure if I’ll make the jump on this one probably will try to keep it factory look for a while.
Aloha and good afternoon Rob. Yes, it's very smart to shop and search for the type of wheels that you want to install for the style and cost that makes sense in a financial way. Plus, you need to consider the fuel cost and vehicle registration renewal cost altogether. Great video Rob😇😎🐶🐕💰📼🤜🤛🙌👍👌🤙🥳🏡🌩.
Bronze wheels are definitely the latest fad. Been around for a while now actually. Will be interesting to see how it ages in a few years when we look back. They do look good though!
Max caster alignment and and a grinder will fix your rubbing. I put x12 on my Tacoma with no body mount chop or relocation..
Any tips on how to fix rubbin on a -12mm offset on a 2006 toyota 4 runner i would appreciate it thankyou.
Not without seeing it in person.

Thanks, glad I found your channel recently! Heat gun & oscillating tool may soon become my good friends for this if it’s an issue!
Lol!!
Did you have a lift on this truck when you made the video. Just wondering if this will fit on my 2022 TRD off-road no lift

Have to agree simple design & colors are easier to live with.
Absolutely 👍👍
That bronze wheel color choice does look
Great on your truck. It’s made me consider that color wheel for my next ride. ✌🏼
I took a gamble! Should have done it a long time ago 👍
Beware of after market wheels that won't hold up well to winter deicers in northern locations.

I run 265/65/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on KMC 542 +0 offset with OEM suspension and mud guards. Never had any rubbing.
Nice👍
Use a leaf blower to dry the extra water in the hard to get to areas on the wheels
That’s a great idea👍
I use it to get a lot of water off then use drying towel from HarborFreight to dry my Tacoma
What up ROB-BE? You still living the Dream? Another good one…those rims don’t show the dirt..👍👍
I have 20x12s with 35s on a 6 inch lift on my 3rd gen. Occasional rubbing is a small price to pay for a sick looking truck 😎
Not for me. Can’t have any rub👍
+1
Yea. My Taco is white with flat black wheels. Really considering bronze
They would look great on white👍
Love the bronze wheels. I wonder if it will look good on my black truck🤔
Oh heck yeah! Even better with black👍
I was wondering also, I have an 18 black sr5, thanks for asking
Are your wheels zero offset?

Pink?

Bronze on white will never be a fad.
