That was the best video opening I've ever seen. Awesome job putting those shots together for the death of the stock seat! Good video.
Thanks mate appreciate it 😅
Just Finished my Valve Clearance on DR650, Checked it at 7,400kms.
Intake was perfect, exhaust was so tight it it didn't even move.
loosen it up, and it no longer struggles to idle!!
Thanks for all you videos on the DR, wouldn't have experienced Adventure biking without your channel!
Thanks mate I really appreciate it 👍
Finally got it eh? That dr is coming along 👌
Finally 😅
I’ve the Sargent seat ( low ). I’m 5 7-8”, I learned on the DR, so I’ve never really two footed when I’m @ a stop, just the ready position ( left down, right on the back brake ), it’s fine. Most I’ve rode is 5 hours and yea, my backside got a little raw, but nothing I couldn’t deal with.
Good info! Thanks :)
Looking at it makes me wonder if it positions you slightly lower along the seat than you'd want to be since the ass groove.
Seems to work OK. Maybe some lowering pegs
Love the video editing and seat demo. I just got a used dr650 and it happens to have a procycle seat which is actually pretty comfy but its slippery and I can't quite flat foot this thing. I think I would benefit from this lower seat height and thinking about just buying the kit. Assuming you purchased the kit and stapled it on yourself, how challenging would you say the install was?
Hey mate. Super easy to install. Just take your time. You will absolutely need a pneumatic stapler to do the job :) thanks for watching
@@NzJohny that's exactly what I needed to hear! Thanks a lot for the quick reply as I was probably going to screw it up with the wrong tool lol
Much appreciated, Johny 🤙
Thanks a lot for sharing. Is this 28 mm down compromising the comfort compared to “commuter” version?
I haven't noticed. I don't bottom out the seat at 95kg / 210 pounds. It took alittle getting used to the ridge. I kept wanting to slide back alittle in the beginning but a week later I have gotten over that :). 1 thing I still notice is the lower height makes my knees feel higher up so I may get some lower pegs. Thanks for watching.
@@NzJohny the Sargent seat doesn’t have that scoop out. Even at my short ass height I had to lower the pegs. Standing up is a nightmare regardless of your height ( unless your a Japanese Suzuki test rider 😂). I love my DR. I’m seriously considering buying another new and putting it in storage. That’s how good I think they are.
Time to get a decent muffler now bro
Absolutely!
@@NzJohny must say also that intro had me chuckling. I imagined then myself doing the same but with a rocket launcher 😆
Delkavic is what I got. Sounds awesome.
Changed mine
Game changer
I did that.... and I'm surprised a grown man did this.
HORRIBLE IDEA!
Your butt are gonna pay and with that the joy and time.
I''m soon to be 60 so it figures, but save your butt before it get's into trouble!
As in: HEMORIDERS!
