    I love the clear walk through. The PAIR valve is something my older dr does not have, but I would like to understand a bit more about it. Nice tidy shop and great information, thanks for a great video.

    Only thing I would comment - my understanding is its injecting extra fresh air into the hot exhaust manifold to combust unburnt fuel/air mix that gets through the valve overlap, rather than just diluting the air mix coming out the exhaust. Its why you get all the popping when you roll off the throttle with the stock systems.

      tampering of federally required emissions systems is against the law, at this point in time these modifications have been ignored for prosecution, even the installation of aftermarket exhaust systems is tempting the enivitable of the EPA cracking down and putting stop to this long standing tradition of modified motorcycles, the current state of government do gooders will eventually realize the huge amount of fines that can be collected by a greedy administration

    I changed to an Acerbis fuel tank so I can’t connect the line from the top of the carburetor to the petcock.. What would you suggest I do with it ? I have already removed the pair valve. Thanks

    • @baydayz9399
      @baydayz9399  Месяц назад

      The line on top of the carb stays. That’s for the slider and runs up to the air box. The vac line to the petcock you should cap off at the T or if everything is deleted you should cap off on the carb

  • @MG-nv2mg
    @MG-nv2mg 2 месяца назад +2

    Why do we have to remove it at all ????
    It only opens when your throttle is closed on deceleration and have absolutely no effect on your performance.
    Without it, well.... you just blow more crap in the air for no apparent reason. We all just like to play with our bikes. That's all.

    So the port on the top of the carburetor is the source of vacuum and i can just run the line from there to the petcock to operate the fuel diaphragm?

    • @baydayz9399

      @@baydayz9399 Great. So, I guess you'll be removing the brake lines next? Thank you for dumping your pollution in the air so we can all breath it. BTW the air added to the exhaust allows the hydrocarbons to burn off reducing the emission of hydrocarbons. Those hydrocarbons are really great at producing some nice toxic components in the ambient air so we can all breath them. Nice work.
