Hey Guys - I have to say that has to be the hands down best jeep storage setup that I have come across on YT! Very well planned out and super use of space. You clearly put all of your experience to work! I dont see me adding a cap to my Rubicon since its a daily driver, 35's small lift - keeping it streamlined. So fun to see the versatility of the Jeep! Looks great - looking forward to more adventures!
Awesome setup! I'm looking at the SlideMaster AH3 for my Gladiator an was wondering what is the width of your Bed Tray and how much room does it give you between the side of the Tray and the Wheel Wells? Also, was there anything preventing you from mounting the Easy Slide all the way to the left side of the Tray? I have a Dometic CFX3 75DZ and ClearView recommends the ES-220 Plus for it, which I believe is the same model you have. I'd like to mount it all the way to the left side of the Tray if possible.
What's your payload after you subtract the cap, drawer system, RTT, fridge, and yourself? A stock Mojave has a 1,200lb payload and I surmise when you're loaded for a trip you're pretty close to that. Thanks for sharing.
really impressive and I'm sure it took a lot of work and craftmanship to put this all together. however, I think you might be in for an unfortunate surprise if you go weigh the rig at a CAT scale. If you are under GVWR you deserve a nobel prize.
Bill, what is the dimension from the bottom of the smartcap bin to the floor of the gladiator bed. Thanks in advance and one day I hope to meet you on the road.
I have a question. How long was your slide to fit the water tank in. Also what the water tank you used. I’m building mine now. Thank for the information
Great video and great build! Thank you for including us in your adventures and sharing your build ideas. F the naysayers! P.S. I am curious what Slide Master required for the upper slide? Can you give more info on that? Thanks.
LOVE the setup and looking to do something similar in our truck. Researching bed slides I've narrowed it down to either the Highway Products XT-1200 or the SlideMaster SM3-SP with 3/16" tray. Why did you choose the SlideMaster? Do you know the height of it, the dimension from the truck bed to the tray? Thanks!
Love the set up the fridge slide is great need that in the truck for my 4’11” wife !!!. Why does Kelly not have more on his truck ? Still uses it for work maybe ?
Outstanding design! very much like it. Can you share the specs of your second slide (model, dimension) and how you actually mount it? Would be great if you plan to have a video in the future to cover all the details. Thanks.
weird question. are those sliders able to lock out in position and be used as like an extended bed to haul lumber as an example? Just curious if it has everyday functionality as well.
I have to say, that is a pretty awesome setup! It certainly doesn't look like any of the real estate went to waste. I love seeing how people go about building out what's underneath their SmartCaps. Any concern on having a fridge that large/heavy at the end of such a long lever? I imagine that thing is putting quite a bit of force on the mounts.
This is by far the best setup I have seen. I'm currently building a Gladiator and would like to mirror your top slide idea unfortunately the bins are on backorder so I cannot take an accurate measurement. I see others have asked for this in the comments as well. Can you provide the width measurement of your top slide so that I can get one ordered? Thank you in advance.
No this slides are not cheep but we found the slide masters are less expensive than others, they have been making slides for firetrucks for years. The tires depends on the trail, we typically air down anywhere for 14 to 25 psi.
Any details on the custom slide made from slide master for the smaller one above? Building a similar setup with the RSI smart cab and the upper slide looks great.
@@CoddiwompleOverland Did you have some of the modules populated in the RSI smart cap? I see the insides look like they have the bins, kitchen, or drawers. Do you have the dimensions of the top slide or any more video you can share?
Really cool setup & informative video. Just a suggestion, next time put a muzzle on those ass-hats that were talking in the background while you’re trying to make a video.
I'm actually going to do exactly this, at least on the bottom level. I'm curious about your lighting setup, and that little digital panel that you have to turn them on. Could you educate me on that?
@@CoddiwompleOverland thanks for the quick reply! I wish I knew y'all were at overland east, I would have seen it in person. How much does the Clearview offset from the right side? The left side looks tight. Essentially I want same set up with my 75q dometic and 82l roam box on left
@CoddiwompleOverland seriously this is sick. I just put an RSI Smartcap on my Tacoma today. I need to watch more of your videos and absorb the rest of your advice but I super appreciate you figuring out all the hard stuff for people like me just starting out.
Great set up. I agree with the other comment about all the noise in the background. Super distracting and really shows a lack of common courtesy. The only thing missing was a Moore hat. I hope that the onslaught of “sponsors” subsides a little bit. I used to love how barebones, real world your videos were.
Thanks! However, the onslaught of "sponsors" were not sponsors but were simply the manufacturers that we went to to PURCHASE these items. I named them because I knew that people would ask where they came from. This video was meant to be informative, not an advertisement. My apologies for it coming across that way..... We do have some great sponsors. This allows us to do what we do without having to have a Patreon account and charge people for our tracks and way points etc.... Bill

Just some feedback, the microphone was picking up voices in the background. I found it distracting so I stopped watching after a minute and half. Sorry.
I love the addition of that second, upper slide. Great use of space.
Thanks!
Very nice setup. The refrigerator slide with it's ability to lower into a more usable position is like nothing else I've seen and looks super handy.
Thank you; it has been so far.

The gladiator has come along nicely. Really clever on the second tier of slideout shelving.
Thanks!
That custom upper slide is awesome idea 👍

Wow, that's awesome. Looks like you will be all ready when S**t hits the fan!!
We are ready.
Super nice rig and I love your content. You don’t have an overlanding rig, you have a full blown expedition type rig.

The cabinets prevented us from mounting all the way to the side. The tray is 43 1/2 wide. It gives you about a 1/2 in on each side of the wheel wells.

What are you using to control the lights? Also curious how you connected your ironman water tank to the smartcap
Aux beam to control lights in the back. Ironman is connected with an RV style water inlet and a 1.5 hose. It is mounted to the bed.
Very nice system. What dimensions did u give to slide master for the cargo slide?
And what shims did u add to clear the tailgate?
We did not add shims. I dont remember the exact measurements. There web site will give you the information on how to measure your bed.
Do any of your videos go into your electric/light setup in the SmartCap?
No
Bill, what is the dimension from the bottom of the smartcap bin to the floor of the gladiator bed. Thanks in advance and one day I hope to meet you on the road.
19 1/4”
Did you have to take apart the roof tracks to add the crossbars? If so how do you get access to adding additional hardware for other components ?
We did not add extra hardware
I have a question. How long was your slide to fit the water tank in. Also what the water tank you used. I’m building mine now. Thank for the information
Ironman water tank. We will have to measure the slide
@@CoddiwompleOverland thank for the help

Why does Kelly not have more on his truck ? Still uses it for work maybe ?

Yes.
I am getting ready to order the bottom slide just like yours. What are dimensions you used? I want the same setup?
We did it 3 years ago. We don't remember the exact measurements. But you can call slide master and they will walk you through the measurement process.
The slide is a 1,000-pound slide and the frig slide is designed to come off the large slide and supports up to a 75 quart frig.

can you share the dimensions?
Man, that is one sweet setup! Good job! How much weight did all of that stuff add (or detract from payload)? What was payload before the cap and mods?
I'm not sure, we haven't put her on the scales yet...

Probably
One year later - how do we feel about this set up? Still the same? Any changes? This has been a huge inspiration for my build
It's still the same, and we still love it.
Also do you have the dimensions used for the slide master bed slide?
Contact slidemaster, and they will have you measure for your specifics.
Do you carry gas RotoPax? If yes, where do you store them?
We do we have mollie panels inside on the bedside.
ruclips.net/video/gSwFBStdG7w/видео.html
What’s the lighting control system on your RSI shelf? What lights do you have hooked up to them?
It's the Auxbeam switch system and just lights from Amazon.
@@CoddiwompleOverland thank you sir.
👍
Interested in how close you are to max payload for the Jeep
We are on the edge.
Overall, what's a ball park figure for building that set up?
The cap and slides $6,000
Do you have a video on the lighting inside the RSI?
We don't not. But, we will have a full video of the Gladiator coming out soon which will include lighting.

Not sure. Have not weight it yet.

The panel is an Auxbeam switch panel:

These are the lights on the doors
amzn.to/3PKl0cd
Inside the Smartcap lights
amzn.to/3lOCPZL
Thanks so much!
Your welcome anything else let me know.
What size is your slide? Front to back?
Which slide?
Hi, may I know how did you fit 37" spare time under the bed of your gladiator?? Is it should not be fit in??
Clayton rear track bar allows for up to a 38"
Is that the Clearview 150 or 220?
Largest one. 220
