This camping/overlanding setup is one of THE BEST I HAVE SEEN YET that perfectly balances overall bed weight (i.e. keeps good driving range!) versus inherent functionality along with some very nice home-comfort features at a decent price that lets you keeps your entire truck plus camp package to around $100k or even less!
I am VERY impressed with this setup!
    GREAT JOB !!!!

I think the reason the guy said he doesn’t store it there is because if he got a flat it would be a pan in the butt to try to wrestle it out from under. I can see how that would make sense especially if one of the rear tires went flat.

For a dedicated overlanding and touring alu-cab is system is one of the best setups, next to PCOR, Mits alloys etc. However for overlanding skinnier tyres are better than wider ones. Base roof rack on the front for additional storage and mount like maxtrax, 50 inch light bar. For power supply a full redarc system with manager 30,red vision with 200 ahp battery would be amazing since you got tons of un-utilised space. Propane tank can be mount just next to the high lift jack. Work or camping led lights on the rear and sides would be a good option as well.
