That’s an amazing vehicle and equipment system. You guys set the bar as far as I’m concerned. I’ll likely never come close to your level of sophistication, but that isn’t stopping me from shamelessly stealing ideas and adapting them to my rig and budget.
I’m NEVER leaving my house again !! Just kidding, you guys definitely have a great setup. We can tell your level of experience is very high based on the efficiency of the setup. Well done.
It looks like y’all have it organized quite well. Like you, I tend to set stuff on top of whatever is available in the back. After a few nights, what was on top is then on the bottom. Thanks for sharing your setup.
Very nice. We are headed up to Expo East in a couple weeks, and I will be going through all our kit as well. I have to pare a few things down from my usual car camping setup, to more of an overland setup. But, I have a looooong way to go. I'm good w it, I don't mind taking my time on the build part. Thanks to your channel, I've made a few decisions on what we will be using, and some of the things we will be packing. (I was told years ago, I was pretty good at fitting 10lbs of stuff in a 5lb bag, so challenge accepted! LOL) We are excited to get out there, and get some photos of Shenandoah and the fall colors. This is gonna be fun! Thanks again for all y'all do!
Well it does look like Ms. Deb has gotten things well organized to counter us guys! I suspect that it was a good coordination between you two to keep a happy family. Thanks for the review which helps me see what you are trending too and where to pay attention to needs. This was good timing for me since in short order I am going down to Rendezvous in the Ozarks and can cross check my list . Thanks again!!!! Take care.
@@CoddiwompleOverland it is my mom's "boyfriend" works a the Huntington West Virginia Heiners bakery so when they come to visit they will bring me and 10 loafs of bread.
WOW! such a great set up. Looks like you all have done this a few times. haha! At the 10:15 mark, you speak about a Molle panel. Can you send a link for those? Thank you in advance. Be safe out there. PS. We just picked up our 2021 Mojave last week, so the mods have begun. Thanks again for sharing!
Man you all have really got it together, I do a lot of camping but normally from my boat, sometime in the future I will be getting a 4x4 vehicle, not sure which one but I'm thinking seriously about the jeep gladiator, and in my research about it, I'm really enjoying your videos , I've never did overland camping but it looks amazing
Awesome build! I really like that RSI smart cap. I have a built 20 Wrangler Rubi and an Vorsheer XER trailer with tent, fridge, sink, stove etc. Now I’m thinking about just getting a Gladiator and building it like yours. Thanks for the video 👍
Excellent rig very well equipped. Thanks for the tour. How do you like your rockslide engineering steps. Must be a new addition. I didn’t notice them in previous videos. I love mine. The only thing I did was add the switches for the back doors so I could turn them off in the back so I didn’t keep bumping into the steps when loading and un loading. It was easy plug and play. Great video
Great walk around of the Gladiator. Wow, you go prepared.. I carry most everything that you do except that I have to do it in a JKR 😂 I hope to run into you during our cross country adventures next year.
Well geared up. I get teased for packing too much gear. You never know what you will need whether it's a long trip or a short one. The leaves are starting to change up this way. Hopefully you'll tour through the peak. Took one of the step daughters on a water fall ride. Higher elevations turning now.she couldn't take enough pics. Happy trails.
Thanks! We have not upgraded the brakes on this one and to be honest, I don't really feel like it needs it. The Power Stop setup on the JK is working great!
Great video as always. Why didn't ya'll go for a complete seat delete from goose gear it would give you more storage in your cab? Thanks for reading my comment.
Everything has a place, and everything in its place! Very efficient! Have you ever driven through a CAT scale with your fully loaded rig and compared it to the base weight of the Glad per the sticker? I'd really be curious how much weight all that stuff added plus tires and suspension! Should have gotten the 392! Thanks!

Sounds like you have a great plan. That area is beautiful in the fall. Stop by and see us at the Skinny Guy Camper booth.

whats your payload at ? ;)
We have not scaled it.
One thing I see that you have that I can't get here in southeast Tennessee is the Heiner's old-fashioned bread.
Heiners bread is awesome!

You folks definitely made good use of all your available space. It’s neat to see how the gladiator is outfitted!
Thanks
I love how organized it is.. Nice Job!

Nice setup Coddi..!

The north Maine woods are definitely the exception to the you don't need extra fuel rule in New England. It's gets really desolate up there

You are exactly right. We are hoping to see some fall colors.
Have you weighed your fully loaded gladiator? That's a lot of weight and stuff.
Not yet.
I wondered the same.
What type of cab do you have on your gladiator? I really like the access panels on both side.

I hiked 281 miles thru Maine as a kid. Truly wilderness up there. Gulf Hagas is the grand canyon of Maine.. Check it out!
Thanks Rob, we will try to check it out.
Nice setup
Thanks!
How did you secure your water tank? I don’t see you using straps?
We put a nut zirk in the bed and then made a plate with a bolt through it to go through the center hole of the tank
Awesome video and walkaround. Have you upgraded the brakes on this one Bill?
How are the Power Stops doing on the JK?

Very impressive load out while away from the home. How much would you estimate all of that gear weighs?
Thanks, we really are not sure what everything weighs

We have not weighed it.
Great video! What was the attic that you have?

@@CoddiwompleOverland that’s cool. I hope to see your rigs around.
While I do the same thing too, I wouldn’t go around advertising you use ham radio gear on Gmrs/frs frequencies as it’s technically illegal.
do you use 3.5 lift kit with this setup or added like more lift in rear like air bags ??
i need your advice
