I think for Soulblight the cohesion comes from the theme of “what would I find in Dracula’s castle?” Admittedly, with the new direction they’re going with the recent release of vamps and some models being outdated they clash a bit, but I love the concept of Vampire conjuring up monstrosities to do their bidding
I think one of my problems with Soulblight is that a bunch of the new stuff are obviously Werewolf models that should have been given their own, separate Werewolf army. But GW didn't know how to make that distinct in playstyle from Flesheater Courts, or just didn't want to make a Werewolf army. So they instead melded Werewolves and Vampires together. Admittedly, the models for all the beast-vampires look sick, and they've got powerful Gangrel (or Tzimisce) vibes. But that also means they're not really as cohesive with the "traditional" Vampire + Shambling Hordes side of the army. It's the same reason why I'm not a fan of Idoneth Deepkin. GW COULD have made a Merfolk army. But they went with splicing them with Elves, for the sake of pigeon-holing new concepts into existing Warhammer archetypes. (Plus, the actual design just doesn't do it for me, personally.)
@@Bluecho4I know what you’re saying, and that’s what I mean by the new Vamps aren’t cohesive with the old sculpts of the army. Once they all match one aesthetic then it’ll be fine, but I think they might go the Mawtribe route and have two distinct aesthetics that don’t look well together

While I recognise that we have different personal tastes in some instances, i feel like every point you made was valid. It’s a great ranking in my opinion! I mean keep WHF alive in our hearts as reusing models for the Old World would have made sense, but AOS is it's own thing and I thought they'd have all their own models by now, you can't convince me that it's its own thing if the exact same Night Goblins are hanging around after the universe was completely remade from scratch.
Makes me think they got made by Sigmar on a Sunday once he got tired and decided he'll just crack the last few creations out in an hour so he can spend the afternoon working through a 30-rack of Bud Lites.
They're planning to build another factory to meet production issues so I'd have hoped they'd keep all the plastic AOS/40k stuff in production and "in rules", but in limited quantities,
then they might see "Numbers go up" like they want to, the approach to range refreshes and production making models scarce at any given time is what's kept me from slowly collecting stuff from multiple different ranges over time.
should do one of these but for spells
I did try to include spells as part of my ranking, but could be fun just looking at spells on their own haha
11:59 calling Glutos Big Poppa is gonna stick with me. why did you do this
8:08 *SHORT!?*
Jokes aside, I still like the video. You get a like for using Space Ghost in your video!
I wouldn’t really call the chaos god specific armies “demon armies” bc you can play them as mostly or completely non demon. Good vid tho I subbed👍
definitely agree, i appreciate the variety they have though
also thanks for the sub!!
We're so back
Age of Sigmar is starting to get as popular as 40k in my city. It is just that 40k has a massive head start. Way more players have several 40k armies where as like half of the AoS community has just started like a month ago.
As a man with a Nighthaunt army, I feel so proud of my ghoulish boys💀🤍
you should be🫡
I just today try to asamble warcray lizardmen warband

WOOOOOOO GHOSTS NUMBER 1!!!!
LES GO BABYYYY
Really can't disagree or agree much with the lower part of the list, my internal ranking changes every week (40k for example, craftworlds started out as my least favorite faction, are now in the top 5 xD). But this top 5 is great, Nighthaunt, Skaven and Gitz are my favorites as well, Flesheaters are probably my favorite faction lore wise. GG Stabbas really hold up btw., old and simple models, but still good looking and fun to build and paint. Personally don't care much for the Sylvaneth asthetic, but the models look flawless. Great vid as always - Kenny
hell yeah thanks Kenny! Appreciate you joining the Patreon and glad we got some similar taste on this hahah
I love fantasy stuff but none of the aos armies really appeal to me compared to the old warhammer fantasy.
ay nothing wrong with that, Old World definitely has some great appeal
Will you make some lore videos? Some weird/fun facts maybe?
I've got the Soulblight Gravelords Spearhead and haven't built the kit yet love the whole army.
hell yeah, you gotta get building on that asap
@@Noot_Official I'm painting up my 4 Warhammer 4k Armies first and then I'll build and paint the Soulblight Gravelords as I really want to take my time in creating a great paint scheme for them.
Noot uploaded, day made 😎
Glazer 🤮
@@Noot_Official I know where you live
22:44 WHY I CANT FIND THIS SET ANYWHERE.WHY IS EVERY SHOP OUT OF NINJA RATS
Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer Age of Sigmar have great models, and Sotek bless the Children of the Old Ones
wow the slander towards my perfect pink bois... you leave my birds and monstrosities alone (also there is a lot of evidence that the finecast models for Daemons in 40k will be re-released in plastic, so the blue scribes/epidemius/herald of Khorne on Juggernaut will not look as dated fortunately)
trust me, the nighthaunt DOES break... a lot..
I would recommend Warcry. A lotta ways to get into the game at relatively low pricepoint, and prolly the most fun small-scale game in GW's roster.
Also big agree on Nighthaunt being the best looking line in AoS. Kinda have the benefit of coming out in 2e admittedly after GeeDubs had finally figured out how high fantasy they wanted to make the aesthetic but they are an absolutely brilliant execution on 'bedsheet ghost'
I (a dwarf) moved into my newly built home with my wife and kids. Since we arrived we've been constantly harassed by the local eood elves. These damn TWIGGERS have no reason
SERAPHON TECHNICALLY GOT A TOP 10 WE COUNT THAT AS A W RAHHHHHHHHHH
