Hi, thank you, Royal Enfield is a great bike, I used to live very close to the original factory in Redditch UK before it moved to India, I have 3 enfields and love them, but they all come out of the factory with this grease all over the relays, I just do this little job for peace of mind, thanks for watching and enjoy your new bike ......... Colin ☺️
Hi Steven, thank you, I will try to make these videos as interesting and informative as I can, I like to think that they can be of use to other people, thanks for watching, ........ Colin ☺️
Happy Friday to you Colin. I agree with you the one thing RE hasn't improved on. I thoroughly cleaned these on my 2022 Interceptor and 2023 Meteor when getting them home from dealer. Used the dielectric on reassembly absolutely no issues so far. I do carry a spare in my tool bag. Thanks as usual for all your videos.
Evening David, yes I was hoping by now that the excessive use of the grease might have stopped, to be fair they listen to most other things or so it appears, like you I always carry a spare one with me, I've never had any issues with my Himalayan or the meteor, thanks for watching and take care...... Colin 😊
Morning Mark, yes the new scram, be interesting to see what it's like ☺️, I think removing that horrible grease is a must, changing the relays for me finishes the job, take care .... Colin 😊
So far not had any issues with the RE relays, though I do have a spare german relay in my kit on bike. My dealer did say to me they had improved them considerably.
Hi Robin, to be honest I've never had a problem with any of my bikes, but I decided on all of them to remove that awful grease and swap over to Bosch, just to be on the safe side 😊, ........ Colin ☺️
Evening Jeff, I think if you own a royal Enfield the first thing to do is clean that awful grease out, maybe the original RE relays are ok, but I change them anyway, thanks for watching take care in this weather....... Colin 😊
@@droneon29 ok colin not bean out fr 2 weeks frosty and 2 inch of snow the bullit away fr the winter.but the himalayan is out wheather permiting will be out iff no salt .cy jeff.
Hi Jeff, we're lucky here they dont salt the roads, so lucky for the bikes, but of course it can render the roads treacherous, we've had so much rain here over the weeks its been no fun to go out riding, hopefully we'll get some decent days to get out, stay warm and safe ..... Colin 😊
Good vid. I have a new RE arriving in the next month or so, first job I will do.

Hello Colin, what a great video, you make it so easy for anyone to understand how to carry this out on their own bikes, it's a pleasure to watch you
