Nice setup!!
you need to separate the upper off the lower and secure the barrel with a reaction rod or clamp the barrel itself in the vice.
the 3-prong wrench should also be 90 degrees from the toque wrench and not an extension of your torque wrench, like you did here. an extension like this will add more torque per ft/lbs than you measured.
i’m not trying to shit on you but just helpin out. i know newer armorers make mistakes (i’ve made plenty in the past too).
Thanks for giving actual advice and how to do it better, rather just saying "ReAcTiOn RoD!!!*?!#!"
I will now research reaction rods and vices.
Good shit! Nice advice bro, as a new “gunsmith” myself I do greatly appreciate the advice from others that are more experienced than myself: to ignore information especially when it is coming from someone who knows more by experience is just dumb imo
My main rifle is the DD ris II upper on aero m4e1 lower. Looking good
All these people talking shit on you cutting your grip. Build your rifle for you! Pretty clean build my friend
I give people shit for using them. Who cares if he cut it
They make em short and angled tho....
Jesus fudd bullshit just get a shorty grip 😂
He did say the way he sets up his rifle 👍🏿 I like it
Nice
Beautiful set up
The music selection def adds street cred to this rifle.
The shortened fore grip is a nice touch 👌🏾
This guy gives off the vibes of that video game character who has a ammunation store and he is always there customising his toys
Perfect example of practical quality set up! Awesome !
What light / light mount was that?
I wanna know too
Its a surefire scout light the mount is attached to the light but can be unbolted and replaced with an mlok option that comes with the light also
Looks good but why cut off the handle comon
I don’t use the whole thing so I just gets in the way really
i screamed when they did that
C-clamp shooters only need enough of it for the middle and ring finger.
@@mavericksmayhem3745why dont buy a short grip 😂
@@capoone5002probably cheaper it’s okay to be crafty
Are angled/low profile hand stops illegal? Everything looked so nice until that chopsaw came out.
They aren’t illegal
Who tf cares??? Abolish ATF
@@xxtipfizzyxx6857 based
Shorti hand stops are da wae tho, you don't need all that grip if your just using it for a advanced C clamp
Same
That’s a nice set up my man
Can you do some with heavy metal music? Nice setup 👌🏻
I think that torque plate extender is to be at 90 degrees to the torque wrench. If it's straight out, you'll exert slightly more torque than needed since the plate extender if in-line with the wrench handle allows a slightly greater leverage advantage, and the readings of the wrench will be off slightly.
I set up my AK-74M sitting in a random ditch somewhere in Eastern Ukraine...
Interesting way of doing things for sure...
So why did yiu cut the foregrip when there ate ones designed to be shorter ?
He already has that one why buy a whole new one when he can just cut it and make it shorter? Did the same to mine and it feels way better tbh
The comments on this short are hilarious! Thanks for the laughs everyone, we need some humor with all the nonsense we face as 2nd amendment supporters.
Torquing on the muzzle device without supporting the barrel is major Bubba gunsmiffing.
He supported it with his hand 😂. Why tf is he torquing the muzzle? I mean, i torque alot of shit at work. But i work on compressors and turbines. Just put that bitch on and tighten it. Little extra. Imo
@kfeemer All the ones saying that shit, are talking about the pin that lines up the barrel. It's a dumb comment to make though, once you have the barrel nut locked, 20 ftlbs won't do a thing, they're just wanna be, lame ass know it all's.
Beautiful Rifle
Why you cut off the foregrip?
Exactly what I’m askin
I use it more as a hand stop so the rest is just a snag point
@@mavericksmayhem3745 and just hold the barrel? That’s kinda smart 💯💯
@@xXUNITED4O1Xx I’m holding the rail. IT’s designed to be held. People use hand stops and fore grips for better leverage not to get their hand off the rail
@@xXUNITED4O1Xxidiot
ATF after seeing this: "you can no longer do that, thats a felony"
Remember, the #1 and only way to perfectly set up your AR is to build it for what you intend to use it for. The only way to determine that is to use and train with your AR and adapt it to the job. Copying someone else's rifle will always result in sub-optimal cringe.
But it looks cool............ 😅
Form over function, COD kids want the look, not the function.
@@roamin9871It can have both. I run scenarios in my head, and at the range, and set up my tools for what I think will be most effective in a home defense scenario. But when I do this, I choose the parts and accessories that would still make Captain Price blush. 😏
Clean set up!!
Gotta get ready for school
Who else liked the video because of the neet torque wrench tool?
When using a torque wrench attachment set it at a 90 degrees or you’re adding extra pounds because of extended leverage. Nice setup
RESPECT. Beautiful build.
Nice rifle brother much like what I’m familiar with, minus the shortened vertical grip.
Nice build
Nice rifle, could use an upgrade on the optic but very nice overall
@@RegimentJoker I have a vortex uh1 gen 2 on it now
Very cool. Subbed
cutting magpul grip looks so good
Yo w weapon system i love the grip its my favorite grit i see people using
Drew Meyers, Chop Stop foregrip or my favorite his Talon hand stop both with cable management channels cleanly underneath are absolutely outstanding! It's well worth a look and consideration, fantastic American US Vet made in the states and a very cool down to earth guy very easy to just bs n talk to. His Talon hand stop and krinkle texture rail scales go on every build.
Nice rig
Song choice is 🔥
How long the barrell? Looks cool
I’ve always liked the look of longer foregrips. Never had one myself so I don’t know if it feels better short but it just looks better.
Magpul K2 XL - I love that grip.
Nice set up broski …
I like the setup, I'd build 1 for sure
Warcomp on a 556 SBR is wild, but I’m here for it lol.
Bro cooked 😮💨🔥
Nice! I cut my same foregrip too lol
Good luck on your next tour duty
I hope that weapon protects and serves you well on the battlefield
Calm down ray
One of the best situps I’ve seen in a while
i makeing a airsoft M4 model after this📈
Love it💚
