I’m currently in Grand Canaria as I write this but without a bike and to be honest the wife would kill if I mention bikes 😂. Keep doing it for the Brits Thomas 💪🏾👍🏽
lordy. I did it once three days in a row. The best was the back road from Playa de Americas. The T563. Much quieter to suffer on. The descents are mad. I remember cycling down and going through the cloud cover freezing to death and then heating up as I went down. Best descent and the most boring climb route (I avoided it) is the T38 as there is only two corners and the first one can be taken at full pace. If I go again I'll use the bike shop, they transport you past the horrible coast roads so you do the wonderful bits of Tiede and the west coast. Great place. I want to do the other islands as well.

I would love a video about your approach to training. Do you follow any sort of a structure to your training or is your volume of riding your training? Love the channel!

@@TheCyclingTattooist yeah, it was a long day in the saddle for sure but as long as you have the gears, it's like riding flat only slower. Try something hillariously steep like the Zoncolan or the Angliru with live commentary, I'd watch that vlog for sure. Cheers!
Was just in Tenerife and climbed Teide twice from PDC in two separate rides…absolutely beastly of you to summit from two different directions!!! Bravo!!
@@TheCyclingTattooist Respect, found one way hard, but it was boiling, which made it worse, no need for vest. Ran out of water, really struggled. So the lesson is, there is two scenarios, cold or hot, be prepared.
lol i have climbed mountain first time in my life last year in switzerland last year, and i gotta say forget everything about avg speed when climbing up the mountain, just enjoy the view. Because i got my hard cramp lesson first day :( and second day was more enjoyable and fun when i just went with the feeling instead checking my speed.
