Came across this as I follow Francis and just wanted to send some kudos to say I really enjoyed it. The conversational nature was enjoyable and good to have a different angle on things. Best of luck with your future work.
As a long term viewer of Francis’s videos going back to the Crit racing days 6+ years ago it’s been great seeing him grow and evolve the content he creates. I remember one of his friends saying when asked what makes the difference with his output and they said his ability to get videos of a high standard out so quickly and that’s down to his work ethic and editing skills
I too have been fan of Francis Cade's channel for quite some time. Long enough to miss the JAM cycling content a little. Great to get this "BTS" look. Thanks from the USA.
Love this. I appreciate your relaxed & genuine interview style. I've followed Francis for years, surely while he was still at Sainsbury's. It's good to hear a bit about the "non-existent" behind the scenes stuff.
As long time sub of Francis it was great to see this side of things (from you both) as I sit here wondering what/if at all I can add as 42yr old new creator. P.S First pod' I've watched in full.
Thank you for this comment that means the world. Being 42 doesn’t stop you in any way from a creative/content perspective- if anything you’ve got more life experience which you can inject into your content. Best of luck with your content and if I can help I will.
Really glad youtube suggested this one. Watching Francis cade videos for me was a masterclass in how to vlog, snappy editing on the fly, tell the story. Not a fan of his new direction, bit static for me, but I can understand why he's done it. Still an inspiration for me tho....now I just need a few more zeros on my subscriber count.
nice interview/chat, will look through more PT content...whole set of things here about learning - as an educator there is a term called 'learning thresholds' an idea that transforms how you think of a topic but once you know it, seems so obvious that you find it hard to recall not knowing. another is communities of practice, things that are obvious to people inside a particular field and struggle to think like people outside.
Been following Francis Jimmi & Emily for some time now being an ancient old cyclist & its good. I understand why Francis doesn't read the comments but I don't agree with him as surely if you start a conversation you want to know what the other person has to say ! Given you too seem to have the gift of the gab I have subscribed because I found your questions interesting.
what @thecontentCAST said. That's your point of difference. Make it work for you. The worst that can happen is you try and find your worries are true. Best case....you develop a following and beyond money and independence, feel you are contributing something worthwhile to youtube and the cycling industry. Failing only means you had the balls to give it a go! (And I say this as someone that is scared of failing...it's hindered me chasing other dreams I have. DO IT MAN!!! DO IT!
what can you post that is worth it now....whilst sitting in front of a camera in landscape mode....i rest my case. I almost exclusively don't like anything in portrait. Photos..that should be shot portrait...but anything video...not interested in watching portrait. It's not natural to humans in any shape or way
Francis is great. But this other guy, if you really want to get bigger you need to lose this thick accent, it's pretty annoying how hard i need to try to understand you as a non native speaker.
Cheers for taking the time to comment. Yes Francis is a top lad. Sorry I won’t be changing the accent bro that’s me and if someone can’t understand my accent then this podcast isn’t for them :)
@@thecontentCAST Probably an american lol...I'm genuinely surprised they understand anyone that doesn't speak 'American'. They can stick on subs if they need lol
Think Francis hits the quality nail on the head (coming from a Quality Manager). Quality is "the degree to which a product or service fulfils a set of characteristics". You want a well produced, informative and fun video all in one @cade_media is a go-to
@@out_spocken yes, that could be a possibility. nonetheless, i am glad that my opinion is important enough to you that you took the time to comment. good job.
been watching francis for many many years, since day 1 almost. Actually makes me happy to see him do well with his passion for cycling and work.
He’s truly an inspiration
me too...
Francis’ attitude is second to none. Unfailingly positive and able to deal with set backs
And the questions are really good
Thank you for this comment man, really means a lot.

Thanks for the comment Neil - he’s such a lovely guy!
Pleased you enjoyed and I hope you stick around for more pods!

Thanks for the watch! Yeah he’s inspired me so much from a creative perspective!
Having followed Francis for years it’s great to get BTS. Hope he continues to go for strength to strength.

So pleased you’ve mentioned the BTS stuff as well as many others! Pleased you enjoyed the ep.
Awesome, so inspiring to me as a creator to hear about Francis' journey, thanks very much!
It’s a pleasure - Francis is such a talented and humble lad.
Yeah. Got so many good vibes from this. Gonna start a YT channel.
Another synonym for "quality" in the context of your question is "relatability" - a quality that Francis has in buckets.
RUclips threw this at me, Never herd of ContentPT but it’s a great podcast / video as we all love Francis . Great work
Ahhh man I love that - the algorithm has helped me on this one I guess!

Thank you so much for this comment that’s really kind.
Haha yes the BTS stuff was quite profound even if I do say so myself!
Really good interview, think Francis success is helped by him coming across as a really nice chap. Someone that you would love to have a beer with.
Yes for sure! I’m still after a beer with Francis soon!

Really enjoyed watching this 👍
Love that you enjoyed this one champ.
Awesome. Lovely bloke. Been onboard since the India holiday films.
Ahhh man I agree - what a bloke!
I've subscribed based on this vid, Well done
That’s really appreciated that. Thank you man.
Enjoyed that! Rule of thirds & everything 😉
Thank you so much for this comment! Pleased you enjoyed and appreciated the production 🫶🏽

I’m pleased you took some value from the episode!
I currently work in Sainsburys and also love cycling lol

A very, very, very good interviewer
Means the world to me this!
Such a true statement about BTS
Madness isn’t it!
My girlfriend, who is a fan of the K-Pop band BTS has just informed me, apparently that BTS does not stand for Behind The Scenes.
first time in years following francis that i've heard him curse.!
Haha wish I was as well spoken as Francis
@@thecontentCAST you come across as pretty eloquent yourself. :)
I wish could do same thing as Francis. Problem is i am stutterer with polish accent. It wouldn't sound great on youtube😂
I’m sure there’s a market for that! You’re different so own it.

francis cade's videos are only interesting when bike fit james is on.
Fair point!
That's your opinion. Luckily lots of other people seem to disagree.
