*Lures looks very realistic even prunked my friends with it.Looks very durable **enjoyable.fishing** recommend sunk very good into the water.Cons: Storage package could be bigger.*
@@RiseOrRelinquish well in dark water the green back with white works well, and so does the crawfish pattern, white and lime green and yellow works good in clear ponds
Those are good baits, but one of the most productive baits I use is a 1/16 oz. spinner bait with a tiny twister tail attached. This is my 1st go to bait when I am fishing for Bluegills! Your selections work well too. Try this next time you go fly fishing; Take a #10 or 12 hook and put a drop of super glue on it then attach a one inch twister tail. (The glue keeps the bait on) Gills tear it up!
The rebel lures work great too. The crick hoppers an the rebel crawl n fire tiger crank baits are a must have even the arkie lure versions work. Beetle spin works as well.
Nice video! I can't believe you didn't mention jig spinners\ beetle spins. Jig spinners are one of my go to baits to throw for panfish,or anything else. I buy spinner arms with swivels on them in bulk, and put different blades on them, than you would find them at the stores.
BEETLE SPIN!!! Johnson makes the all time best panfish lure in the world. It is what we all started with. I am saddened that you did not have it in your list.
my favorite pan fish lure is the smallest size rebel crick hopper crank bait. looks like a grasshopper. twitch it on the surface like a grasshopper in the water... sure thing. just watch it, because I've had some Mondo bass (smallmouth and largemouth) and a huge rainbow trout eat them.
+stinkyfungus I actually recently tried a small rebel craw for creek fishing and was amazed by the number of hits I got (bass, bluegill, sunfish). Great tip
You didn't talk about the rooster tail that you have on the table. The rooster tail is very good for bluegill, bass and crappie depending on the size. The smallest size can catch bluegills and the sizes go up a little for crappie and bass.
my 2 cents... a #6 wide gap walleye hook (red) with a powerbait 2" smelt plastic or 3" gulp both split tail) on a 1 foot 4lb flouro leader to small swivel with 6lb main line.... I catch perch, bluegill, crappy, rock bass and pumpkin seed non-stop most days.... i caught over 200 blue gill in one day on this exact rig.
+topwater a small barrel swivel is fine as long as it's about a foot from your lure. A good cheap pole is Dick's sporting goods Diawa samurai 5'6" rod and reel combo. They put it on sale a couple times a year, 2 combos for $30
+brody scott a leader of 2 to 4 lb test can work of you have thicker mainline. The problem is it's hard to cast small bluegill lures on thick lb test line. A light action rod with all 2 to 4 lb test allows you to really cast out the small lures

Exactly the info I needed to know, thanks a lot! Ive only used worms for panfish, happy to see lures work too
If you use crickets they work really good
Awesome thanks for the help for when you said what luers to use for overcast I wish fishing RUclips channels were more like your thanks for the help
Great video, quick, fast and straight to the point! Job well done.
my favorite is the bitsy minnow crank bait. have enough for supper in a few minutes.
Juan Olivarez thought I was the only one.
Brandon K really good lure. works anywhere.
Just bought one can't wait to try it out, fact is I've always used mainly live bait for bluegill but want to explore some and see what else works.
Bitsy minnow does it all. My cousin caught a redfin pickerel and a big warmouth on it. I love this little lure
what color do you recommend

Great 5 son! All of them are in my tackle box. Great video

Been having a lot of action lately this fall on the Rebel Crick Hopper (chartreuse) blue gill, bass, shell crackers smashing it!
Still waiting for that bluegill on a medium size crank. That will be one nice gill!
Keep it realistic!
@@84joshiepoo yep

I’ve never used a crank bait for bluegill but I went out and bought one to give it a try

great .. may I ask what weight panther martin you use .... what would be largest that might work ... much appreciated
Great tips, thank you very much
Great job on the video...Thank you
Good information and a nice video. Thank you.
my favorite is a Minnie night crawler works fine for me
Beetle Spins all day. Feather jig under a bobber with wax worm or crappie nibbles does work too
little yellow cricket!! I think rebel makes it.
clear bobber with a betts black ant and a little spit equals flathead bait
my favorite is the black and green zoom tube with a 1/64 we got 175 crappie in 4 hours
The bluegill in a pond near my house only eat bread and live minnows... No soft plastics, no lures, just actual food...
red worm or any kind of real worm or bug you catch out fish soft plastics and lures like 10: 1.
best lure hands down is a small popper hell ive caugt em on pieces of reed hooked to act like a popper
My favorite is the yo-zuri pins minnow
the vibrax is GREAT i catch tons of chain pickerel on them
my 2 cents... a #6 wide gap walleye hook (red) with a powerbait 2" smelt plastic or 3" gulp both split tail) on a 1 foot 4lb flouro leader to small swivel with 6lb main line.... thanks a lot for the tips
Been fishing 20+ years if i want a bluegill im gunna still use hotdogs and a bobber lol
I haven’t had much luck with hot dogs
Bacon works better corn works onion slim jim bread and random stuff in the house they are agressive in florida
Brett Kelly I’ll have to try that for me the bread doesn’t stay on do you have any tips on that
@@owenpullen6356 spit on it and ball it up and hope minnows dont get to it first
I know this comment is old but this helped, thanks!
Excellent n informative
Thank u!!
I have a medium to small pond in the middle of the woods near me, it is max 8 feet and has snags, what do you reccomend using?
a bobber rig
Beetle Jig
Flyfishing, or assail meps spinner
i use a rebel bumbel bug
Can you catch bream with spoon
My favorite is a beetle spin.I catch a lot of panfish with them and they only cost 87 cents at Wal-Mart
Nicholas Nichols I don't know what Wal-Mart you re shopping at but the Wal-Mart I shop at sells them for 50 cents
New to this panfish stuff, would you recommend tying a barrel swivel or will the bluegill see them? Also can you recommend a pole? Thanks.
+topwater a small barrel swivel is fine as long as it's about a foot from your lure. A good cheap pole is Dick's sporting goods Diawa samurai 5'6" rod and reel combo. They put it on sale a couple times a year, 2 combos for $30
AnglersEscape thanks man really appreciate it! I subbed, tight lines.
Excelentes tips
You forgot the Crickhopper and the Beatlespin.
mine is the rebel crickhopper
I caught a small bluegill with a crankbait while I was going for bass! I couldn't believe it. It was too big to fit in its mouth
Dude a yellow/green square bill got me a blue gill in two cast. Gave it to my daughter and she got a bigger one in one cast.
Oh and cutie spinner was good too
what was the 2nd set of lures called
Where did you get that tiny jerkbait
Crappie cranks are good
I had a bluegill crush a spinner bait one time he wanted it bad lol
METALHEAD FISHING i have a small spinnerbait with a curly tail and i replaced the blade with a silver inline spinner blade
Nice
Bitsy minnow does the best for me
good job bud
+jamani1086 thanks
OK that's cool
Rebel crawfish lure
Rebel Crick Hopper
First view first like first comment
+Suzan Sumner Thanks for the support!
Where the rebel crick hopper
Where you beetle spins man beetle spins would outfish any of those lure
Weston Case I don’t care what people say the beetle spin is the go to when the bite is bad
I am 100th comment
why 2 to 4 pound test does leader line work
+brody scott a leader of 2 to 4 lb test can work of you have thicker mainline. The problem is it's hard to cast small bluegill lures on thick lb test line. A light action rod with all 2 to 4 lb test allows you to really cast out the small lures
AnglersEscape ok thankd for the advice
Awesome vid..just subscribe.....
use a nymph fly with a copper bead they cannot resist
I like wax worms better
Beetle Spin in 1/50th ounce kills them.
Best bait for blue gill are grass shrimp....I have NEVER use a lure.
Crickets...
You can slay bluegill all day with live crickets.
True, crickets are the best live bait for bluegill, but crickets aren't sold all year long, so you need a backup plan for the colder weather.
The only way i can get blue Gill is with human food haha never take my other lures
Don't do well with any of those lures. Soft plastics on light jigs for me. Imitation is nonsense.
your cool and all but your hands are beat up
Nightcrawleroutfishes all of this nonsense. So. Why are you still presenting this? Oh, get it, moonney...
