    If you keep or don't keep fish,why argue with the other? If you're catch and release that's fine, if you're catch and cook that's fine too. Y'all no reason to call eachothers names over it 😂. Aslong as the person is in season, keeping the limit and size requirements,it is not your problem . If you want to be a "fishing douche" why noone commenting on them throwing them back? And not gently putting them back in?😂

      I used to catch and release freshwater fish all the time. Then some friends asked if I could get them some yellow perch, crappie, etc. I still throw almost all freshwater fish back, but my 9yo son LOVES eating fish, so it depends on the situation.

    • @leshemby3783
      @leshemby3783 4 года назад +10

      I have to agree. I throw some back during the spawn. But rest of the year they are wrapped in cornmeal

    • @charlesronk2989
      @charlesronk2989 2 года назад +1

      Because the state does not manage panfish correctly. That is why so many lakes have stunted growth populations. When they do react they are several years behind. Yes keeping a meal of fish is fine. Using it to supplement grocery shopping is ridiculous.

    • @murphyspell7125
      @murphyspell7125 2 года назад

      Throw spawning females back, cornmeal everything else that is big enough to eat. It's almost impossible to overfish bluegill and other panfish in a public waterway. Just make sure you let them spawn and you'll always be able to go catch some.

    • @TismFishing

      Interesting stuff happening up there lowering bag limits and allowing fish time to grow. It’s really bad down here in the southeast, not only does everyone keep all the sunfish they can many folks kill them just to help the population.

    Love them big gills. Hopefully people will start to release the bigger gills.

      Large bluegill have few natural predators. Bass quit trying to eat them at a certain size. Keep a few medium to large gills to eat, let the "tanks" go back home.
