Your chain stitch cast on is the best I have ever seen. I will be using this method from now on. I love your work and how you show us what to do and how to read the chart. Thank you.

AND a chain doesn’t stretch, so you can get bowing in your project

So glad this video popped up! I bought your Alternatives blanket pattern and followed your video of the sample you made so that I don't make a mistake when I make the big blanket. I already made a mistake with the first stich, I did go through the V in front but as well as in the back. The video that I watched was a bit blurry and not as clear as this one, so I struggled to see exactly where it must come out at the back! I enjoy your tutorials!! 🥰🧶

Ah, I have watched several 'easy' envelope border tutes-one using a chain after the first SC (DC) and before last, then slip stitching. I have done largish swatches from your patterns and knew you had a good overlay double border so I searched for it, added to my mosaic library. What I evidently missed was why my first SC looked different from yours (I'm US)--and now I know--what a revelation to doing an easier double border. Now I will do a new mosaic swatch with your way for doing beginning SC and try a border. I do believe this is the easiest or most reasonable way. Thank you (and I really like your mosaic grids--I have mine in Files in laptop or my 12.9 Ipad and I tend to use the graph on my 12.9, check off each row--but now I believe I'll just swipe through the row with the marker in yellow to keep count--easier--then I can 'erase' all the markings to use again-similar to you using a highlighter on a printed graph)
I also just downloaded your double border pattern on Ravelry. Thanks for making it a free download--the photos are quite clear on where you place your hook for the beginning and ending SC.

I’m left handed and have a question: would I just start on the left side of the chart and work left to right? Or would I need to adjust the pattern in any way? The only change I can see is the optional border stitch would be on the left of the chart. Correct?

Love your tutorial. Very understandable instructions. ❤️ I have a question to ask, if I only design my pattern in charts, do I need testers to test my charts. Or do I need editor to see my work?
