4 years ago I bought one in 5 strings and Nirvana Black finish and it's just gorgeous for such a low price, it's a great sounding versatile and comfortable instrument and I would definitly recommand it to anyone who wants a solid bass for a low budget ! Damn, I would even recommand it to anyone who wants a good bass actually x)
People all over the Internet say it's some kind of American pine or spruce which grows in North California. I hardly found any info about this material.
christian labador They have it with active pickups out of the box. It's only a little more expensive and looks slightly different. You should try, I think.
So how come only the cheapest Rockbass has TBird humbuckers like that? Some of the Pro Series and Standard models would be pretty damn cool if they had 60s spec TBird pickups (see Thunderbuckers or Lull) in them.
Wrong! NOW it is! The Streamer design was licensed in the 80s and Warwick PAYED Spector to use the design on their instruments (not like a lot of dumb folk think that Warwick "stole" it) - the old Streamers from the 80's even had the name Spector in them! I think it was in the early nineties when Spector changed their minds because the Warwicks were the better instruments and sold better, so Warwick had to change the design to keep selling it. That's what they did and here we are - the Streamer design differs A LOT from the Spector's and is perfectly legal for Warwick to sell them.

These things have an AMAZING growl when you add an Aguilar preamp to them!
Hey Andy. Thanks for the vid! Just sitting here waiting for my 4 string honey version to arrive after new years and I can hardly wait :-(
I bought this bass and it plays AMAZING
Can I install EMG pickups? Because their holes (for the screws) do not match 😅
Why there are no videos on newer Streamer STD with 2 band preamp?
Jesus...i wish i could afford the Streamer stage 2's price tag...
Its very reasonable then I think comes the Corvette/Bubinga and then Thumb. According to me, everything like Starbass/Infinity/Vampyre etc comes later
Spector NS, conceeded with different wood and funkier pickups
Would like to hear a set of labella flats as well..:)
I wish this had single coils instead, I hate the sound of humbuckers they sound too flat
or if they at least had a coil tap
giovanni Hemingway You can install push pull pots.
What is intro music track?
Active or passive this bass?
passive
Wait, how much does it cost?
@I don't think so! that's actually pretty good
carolena wood body?? never heard it.....

By the way, I bought this bass a couple of days ago, and it's really a bargain for its price.
Алексей Полевой nice ... was undecided between this and the sub bass ... hmmm modding it to active? what do you think?

I think it would be cool if Warwick made a newer beefed up version of the streamer standard for a limited run in 2017.
Is this Ocean Blue or another kind of color?
The streamer is not “a warwick desing”
