Every time I hear a Warwick I just hear those growly lows & those really clean & glassy highs that I absolutely love. Looking into getting a 5-string Corvette Classic in the near future. A common problem I have with a lot of 5 strings is that it commonly feels like the manufacturer took their 4 string and just threw on an extra string in a way that doesn’t feel like the instrument isn’t supposed to handle a 5th string & just kinda “has” it. Resulting muddy, dull, or just all around bad tones. With every warwick I’ve tried out, the 5 string models all have super clean sounds coming from every single string!! Even the B sounds very clear & playable and feels like it’s supposed to be there.
Love love mine! And yes it does growl, Grrrrr. I can't seem to find info on mine though. Mine has a hardtail and NOT a 2 piece 3D bridge. Any help with info? Please and thank you!
I tried mixing indie records with real German Warwicks and Rockbass models. For some reason, the Rockbass models can get very ice picky BUT they cut better and can be processed a bit. The German models sound much better for lighter types of music but they get lost in the mix for rock and metal.
Every single Warwick bass iv played seems to have that nice growl that no other bass can imitate.
Warwick for life! :)
Can't beat that crunchy slap tone
esses contra baixos sao muito lindos é o meu sonho ter um!
the tone from that slapped E string is immaculate: i keep coming back to this video just to listen to it
Came for the slap, stayed for the ghost notes.
beautiful bass and great sound.thank you
that finish is beautiful
That slap tone could single-handedly sell me six of these instruments.
As always you own these videos. I am working hard to find myself in the 'Wick family. You and me are gonna make some greasy trouble Andy!
Sweet playing.
Aún cuando sn los baratos suenan genial.......quiero uno
