Thanks for a great review and for motivating me to pull the trigger. I just purchased this bass in the Almond Sunburst Finish. It will be here in a few days.
Great review! I subbed! I just played around on this exact same bass at a pawn shop...probably gonna go back & buy it! The nut is cool. Makes stringing her up with a .130 B, .105 E, .85 A and .65 D a breeze! I've always loved Warwick. Thumbs and Streamers, especially. Well, hell yeah! Dig it!
Mike Oglesby thanks Mike! Yeah, Warwick has always been a bass I’ve held in high regard. Streamers are cool as well, almost went for one of those. I do enjoy the height-adjustable nut! Makes me wonder why more companies haven’t tried that. You’ll be seeing more of this bass soon 👍 thanks for subbing!
Awesome review, you certainly got some great tones and really liked how you demonstrated different styles. Is this the Corvette Classic? I've just started looking at a new bass and think this is the same as the one I briefly played today.
Thanks! Just straight into my Acoustic BH600 amp and the matching 410 cab. Used a Sennheiser e602 I think is the model. Nothing on it. Just the raw audio.
Welcome to the Warwick Club! Hopefully you can get a chance to play a German model, or even a Pro series or whatever they’re called now. The wenge/ovangkol necks are another level of beauty and tone. It’s hard to describe why Warwick is my go to tone wise, they just have so much more balls than other basses. Honestly any other bass I try sounds and feels like a toy compared to my Warwicks.
hahaha! yeah. thanks RUclips. it's still welcome though. i just saw Alice in Chains last week and Mike Inez (and his Warwick heavy bass lineup) had one of the best live bass tones i've heard. the semihollow Star bass is my latest GAS fixation
J Steen there’s definitely some truth to that statement. All the Framus and Warwick instruments I’ve played have been AMAZING! And the last tonight instruments have been made in the companies Chinese-made lines.
thanks Shirly. It was all about balancing the pickups perfectly and adding quite a lot of highs from the 2-band EQ on the bass. Took of some lows but not so much that i lost punch. every sound in the video was from the bass.
That would be this song: ruclips.net/video/Xq3hZTR-9Cs/видео.html I wrote it, my band played it! You can also listen to it on Apple Music, Spotify and download more tracks on our website
Bruh...I can’t slap worth a shit! And I’m totally with you in the pick, like, why do bassists look down on the pick? Sorry that McCartney, Lemmy, Roger Waters, Chris Squire, Simon Gallup, and like countless other famous bassists gained fame and had great careers playing with a pick. But, whatever right?
@@SeanPierceJohnson everytime when i tried to find video with bass who i like always i got sound test with slap, i hate it! i play with a pick, because i love hearing specific high- glass tones, big thumb up for U
Plugging in a custom 24 prs into a dual rectifier in those early 2000s was my dream gear. Have a triple rec but no prs yet!
dude...for real

Solid! Glad the video helped you out. It so crazy how many people have enjoyed this video...and I don't normally play bass
I love your review! Thanks from Korea for reviewing one of my dream bass!
thank you for watching from Korea

Thanks! I'm not even a bassist by trade so I was worried I'd screw this one up.
To your question: yes, I do believe this is the Corvette Classic.
Sounds great man thank you for the awesome demo! Needless to say this convinced me to buy my own Warwick Corvette!
thanks Patrick! I'm sure you'll enjoy it
Sick shirt man 🔥🔥
Watched this, looked at my Streamer and decided it needed a stablemate, so went right out and bought one.
A fantastic bass!
Uncommon Sense! Nice! Even basses need friends
I can imagine myself playing tool songs.. I think this one better than GnL L2000 in terms of my dream tone
Nice sound! How did you get it? Any preamps or VST?
Thanks! Just straight into my Acoustic BH600 amp and the matching 410 cab. Used a Sennheiser e602 I think is the model. Nothing on it. Just the raw audio.

Hahaha, I just saw this video was from 3 years ago. RUclips put it in my feed this morning.

I have the same bass, mines just older and has a gloss finish plus an extra string
They’re great basses! I’d love a 5 string model with the 2 humbuckers
The humbuckers are cool but i prefer the jazz pickup tone, the have a nice growl, especially the mec jazz pickups.
Super nice! I have heard Warwick and Framus make great instruments. Awsome choice!
J Steen there’s definitely some truth to that statement. All the Framus and Warwick instruments I’ve played have been AMAZING! And the last tonight instruments have been made in the companies Chinese-made lines.
Looking forward to everything
Great tones! Considering something like this or the $$.
Thanks! I'm definitely a big fan of these basses.
Also... Whats the song for the lil sound demo ? 👀
Can you please tell me how you got the Gallup grind sound? Thank you
thanks Shirly. It was all about balancing the pickups perfectly and adding quite a lot of highs from the 2-band EQ on the bass. Took of some lows but not so much that i lost punch. every sound in the video was from the bass.
Dang, that sounds nice and punchy. Do the pickups buzz at all when you are using just one?
Seth Hearn a little bit not so much that it gets in the way.
Great review, thanks (Y)
Thanks for watching!
That "Gallup grind"... Awesome!
Guga Ramone haha! Thanks. Yup, Simon Gallup kinda has my ear. Really catchy lines and a unique tone.

hi what program/audio interface do you use?
Ferenc Nyíri I use a Presonus Studio 192 interface and I’m running Pro Tools
What’s the exact model?
Warwick RB Corvette B 4 BK Short Scale?
It’s not a short scale. I believe it’s just called the Corvette Basic 4. That’s all I could find for a model name when I did the video originally
There were nu metal bassists plugging warwicks, like Ryan Martinie, Ryan Martinie and Ryan Martinie.
gotta give Sam Rivers some respect
@@SeanPierceJohnson exactly! Bought mine because of Sam!!
Brbr Deng
Any 60 cycle hum when the pickups are soloed?
No more than any normal single coil and no more difficult to mitigate than that.
What country made is you bass guitar?
This particular series of Warwick is made in China. I believe Framus/Warwick even own the factory.
Hey, what's the song starts playing at 14:50 while you're speaking?

I'm curious about this basses color. Could you give me an information about this its color or actual name..?
맹형주 the model is the Corvette Basic Rockbass. As for the color, I think it’s Faded Denim but I don’t know for certain.
