You know, those seats just don't work in that car; I think the originals would look nicer and be way better ergonomically as well. Aside from that, very nice car.

I had that exhaust tone on my Road Runner ,ended up taking the 3 inch exhaust off and going down to 2.5 inch ,made it much nicer to drive .

That 'Stang is oh so sweet.
By the looks of the new style controller, that car has the same self learning FAST ez efi system I had in truck. You can adjust the level of cold fuel enrichment to make it run better when the engine is cold.
That’s a sweet 70 Mach I! Love that paint! Maybe after the customer sees how awesome the “corrections” work on the car they’ll have KC tweek a few more items. Growing up a neighbor had a Mach I in competition yellow. Nice work Erick! Thank you!👍🏼🤘🏼😎

Ditch those seats ASAP. That will solve your problem the correct way. If you really want tilt look for a 70 cougar with tilt column with ignition on the side of it. If you install ignition on the dash like in the 1969 Mustang it’s a plug and play swap once you remove the cigarette lighter. Nice ride Casey

Me too! I have a blown 414" and stroked 351w in my White 1994 SVT Lightning and 2 1998 Ford F150 NASCAR pickups! IMO all shortbed fleetside F100/F150's are going to be the next Hot Rods! Just like Frankenstein F100 is so popular!
Daniel Scott I love to find another one but they are either sky high or junk. I’m hoping I can find someone who wants to trade a 1sr gen lightning or F100 for my 44k miles 03 GT.
I also enjoy working on cars like that and figuring them out. It’s gratifying once’s it’s done. But sometimes in the middle of that process, my neighbors will look at me like I have turrets because I’ll be yelling at a car with no one else around

Beautiful Mustang KC, but, i couldn't drive it. I'm 6'5" and my knee would be hitting the door, and it would feel like i was driving my first car, which was a Mini...lol :) Cheers from Australia :)

I think those classic looking seats from TMI would have been the way to go on this build.
I like the changeup in format. But I have to admit like hearing about the detail of the work(showing and explaining the work in progress, for example), almost to the extreme, whether it is in the restoration side or the "maintenance/problem solving/upgrade" side as in this video.
Good suggestion. Given that he has shop with lifts I think that is something we should do in the future. This was totally unplanned. KC called me and asked me to come over with a camera. He was just going to talk about it but I figured a ride along was more appropriate. Going forward I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

Been waiting on another video. I see that K.C. "Red Ferrari" is in the middle bay. But who's white SVT Lightning? As for the tilt steering wheel for the 1970 Mustang. Did you check with Ididit? Also if i remember correctly a 1970 Mercury Cougar tilt coloum should work and still retain the key in the coloum. Looks like West Coast Cougar parts has rebuilt units.(at least their website showed them available when i was fixing my 70 Cougar) Still waiting on some BURNOUT action video's!! Dual Lightning burnouts by chance?
Thanks for the info Daniel, I'll pass it along to KC. As far as the White Lightning, that is KC's as well. He got it in a trade awhile back since his red Ferrari has some issues being worked out so he has been driving the white one as a daily. The red one however is almost finished. I already rode in it with KC as he did some spirited displays. Looking forward to the burnout video!

I just put a atk high performance 302 in my 66 mustang. It didn't come with a dipstick. While I was breaking in the motor I noticed oil going everywhere...

What is the deal with the seatbelts in the mustang? Does it not have any?
It didn't appear to have any.
Crunchy Bio-mass it may have the same belts my 70 mustang has. It has a lap belt and shoulder straps are optional almost like a racing belt. They are super uncomfortable because they are solid.

@@robertearnest4982 you have the same name as a friend of mine that moved east to paint cars for a nascar company ,think he moved to Tennessee or Virginia ,ok i will quit bugging you know ,Kc's favorite gun is SATA ,he has been using the 5000 model and just ordered a couple 5500 guns ,he did a comparison video a few weeks ago ,well worth the watch .
I believe that heavy noise or that droning sound is your exhaust not being tuned right. Good video though. Need more cameras. :) And all cars look fast on the street. Why not take it and run it off the line at the race track? All older style cars all have wind noise.

One of KC's friends bought it from Doug and got it running again and plans on bringing it buy as soon as they are finished with the upgrades and putting on a smoke show.

The window weatherstripping on the passenger side had a gap in it which was causing wind noise. Not sure if that's what you are talking about or not.
