We review the new Jayco Basestation Toyhauler 2024 model | Love or hate the bed layout? Slide out?

The new Jayco Basestation Toyhauler caravan was launched at the Melbourne show in February 2024. It’s so new that they haven’t even updated the Jayco website with the new layout yet.
We have owned a Jayco Basestation 2020 model for 3 years now and we love it. But how does this new model compare. Where is the slide out? What about the new sofa layout? How about the new windows? Does it look longer to you? And why is Emily so upset about the pantry?

What do you use the back section of the basest section for? And have you had to account for the extra weight of what you are carrying. I been on the fence about this Caravan as a VW crafter is able to also carry to motorcycles in the back. Thanks

Thanks for watching and commenting. We use the back section for the kids to sleep in their bunks. Yes we have had to do some weight balancing moving stuff around putting stuff in the car instead.
