Yes, when I had to create the folders (title, transition,…) I had to add .localized.

Great tutorial. I learned something new about the 1st method. You are the second person that I'm going to ask this question to. Does this method work with alias files? In case i want to keep all the effects and media on an external drive instead?
I haven’t tried with Alia’s files yet. I’ll do some test but let me know if you guys tried it

thank you, one thing as a newby to fcp and editing, i find that most tutorials that are posted on youtube, the narrator speaks too fast , you are easy to understand and give clear instructions. ps. i dont use caps as i am holding a puppy dog and cant use 2 hands atm....lol

Great video and steps but for some reason it is not working for me. I am able to download the I create a folder on my motion templates and add the .localized but they are not showing on my Final cut at all. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
That’s strange. Make sure the Final Cut Pro library is in the same hard drive as the user account. I have more than one start up disc and sometimes I’m not in the right folder. Another to do it is also to open Final Cut Pro and go to the title browser and right click on one of your titles or generators and click on view in finder and that would location for your titles. You can then locate the folders from there. Hope that makes sense

Should put the neat opener file in which folder? Motion templates? Titles, Effects, Generators? I placed it in all and still not showing up in my FCP
It should work in Titles. I suggest you use either the first method or copy and paste the path. I’ll probably make another tutorial to address that

I have the folders, im trying install in these 2 methods.... After paste the title folder in correct destination, when I open Final Cut, the title don't appears. :(

I don’t usually install sound effects, I just import them to the timeline or to the browser directly from the files but there’s a way to integrate your music and effects in Final Cut Pro
