I really love Japanese food but there's no authentic Japanese restaurant where i lived. So i think a lot of people will love this kind of content because there are many Japanese food's fans in Malaysia.

OMG, this episode is sooooooooo GoooOOOD!!!!! Amcorp was my childhood mall~~ I used to go to this Victoria Music Station to buy special edition cassettes & CDs of Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro & otherss!! And there are superb bookstores selling outdated magazines at very good price~~ Super good for inspiration!!! Btw, the banana ball is my fave too, it’s called cekodok ~ some stalls make it smaller, some more banana, some less, it all depends :-) and OH MY GOSH, that’s A&W is my childhood playground tooooo… my brother & I used to go to swimming lessons at the Syabas swim club just a few doors down… oh yeaaa, next to Syabas, there’s a food court, the NASI KANDAR is BOMB!!!!!!! U must go try next round… then further down it’s PJ State & Old Town… there are more good food thereeeee

The banana fritter is called cekodok or cucur pisang, sort of like banana muffin/bread. That A&W is the one we used to go when we were little. It is amazing that it still exist 😂

Ive never been to Amcorp Mall for many years now and almost forgot its existance. Maybe its because I seldom travel through PJ nowadays. Jimmy's vlog makes me want to visit the mall again, and of course the good old A&W. Nostalgic. Thanks Jimmy.

Great video, Jimmy. So nostalgic for me. My dad is Malaysian and seeing the Amcorp Mall reminded me of holidays back to Malaysia in the early 90s 😊 Before my dad left Malaysia he had a job very briefly at A&W. He got fired for throwing a potato at his boss!

There are a lot of antiques fair in every district around Malaysia. They called "Pasar Karat", like Ipoh, Penang, and even KL. Normally they operated early in the morning. Well done, Jimmy, and thank you for your "Solo Jimmy's Video."
Im in Sabah. Everytime I go to KL i'll stay until sunday and go to AmCorp mall. It's always the highlight of my trip

20:50 I practically grew up together with this A&W in the 80's! This A&W has always been my family's go-to outlet when I was a small kid for having something nice once in a while. And their waffles were to die for!
Glad to see this still available even after all these years... Next time I'm back home I'm gonna make this one of the places that I must visit!
Don't use straw to drink the Root Bear. Drink it straight from the mug. Yummy. That's the reason why the mug is chilled.

I missed those old Malaysian magazines about food recipes and house/ landscape designs. It was really well done. We know there is passion and hardwork that was put into those stuffs

This mall was my childhood. There used to be a cinema, arcade, cybercafe and McDonalds at the top floor but sadly all closed down. I still pass by this mall almost everyday these days, but have not actually gone inside for years.

I used to come to amcorp mall for art. Last time around early 2000, there was a lot of art classes here. I came here to learn glass painting, ceramic painting. Also, there was several shops that teach you crochet and needle work stuff... I miss amcorp mall so much .. ❤
AmCorp Mall is where I manage to hunt for 80s & 90s CD, such as Jacky Cheung, Leslie Cheung, Aaron Kwok, George Michael, Tommy Page, Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, Black Street Boys, 911 and many more😁

I like to go here but not for the antiques. There are few bookstores where you could get plenty of good books.
And of course some of the stalls have good books too.

If you like old nostalgic vibes and vintage items, you and iChang should go pay a visit to PJ Old Town in the morning on weekends. They have old school kopi tiams, foods and old style grocery shops there. Enjoy!😊

Amcorp Mall is like a landmark for me. Whenever I take the train and pass by it, I know I'm in PJ already.
Hany's stall. I missed their Nasi Kerabu. They used to open a stall in the morning near the road shoulder of Lorong Dungun Kiri at Damansara Heights. Now they have a kiosk at Abdullah Hukum LRT station during weekdays.

Jimmy, you can try solo night life in KL. Stroll all the way from Pavilion to Sungei Wang/Farenheit at Bukit Bintang. You can experience New York in Arab Street but you are in KL. Extremely crowded during weekends night.

I miss old toys like that toy bus. Back in the 80' many of these toys are made from metal. Those which were made from plastic like those miniature army men were made with very good precision. Of course many of those toys were made in Hong Kong and its quality control are good.

I missed this mall so much cause it was part of my childhood. Usually during the weekends my family will bring us for a movie *movies were cheap back in those days. And there is a restaurant called Sri Melaka! It was one of our fav place to dine in ❤
Unfortunately Sri Melaka has shifted out of Amcorp Mall in 2021. 😢

Thank you Jimmy for showing the oldest A&W, that place is full of memories for me and my children. One time, my 3rd daughter was taken by surprised by the A&W bear and she got high fever the next day.
