- Hi Guys,
Here is the final part of my Southbank Trilogy, and today we take a look at the @SouthbankCentre
Security seemed very confused as to whether I could film or not and whether a GoPro constitutes professional equipment.
I thought this was all going to go wrong when the manager was called only to be proven wrong.
Fair play to the security team in this video they remained polite and professional throughout. If your not sure follow this example

Here I sit broken hearted. Paid a "£1 and only farted!
Showing your age there, mate!🙂
Them prices 🤦♂️scandalous 😮 then to be told what you can and can’t do by someone than can just about string a sentence together. Won’t be going anywhere near that 💩hole anytime soon 👌
Isn't it great to be continually told by foreigners what we can do in our country.
welcome to Englanistan
It's not England no more wait till they try changing the name😂😂😂
I'd tell him to do one.
Goes to show the type of training they’ve had . Can’t blame them really . They’re just being told the wrong information
Oh isn’t it great that people like you who moan about immigrants, but it seems they are all bothering to get out of bed and working ! While the pubs are full of English patriots day drinking everyday !
How many of these dumb security don't know the law? Them all
land on the beech on Friday, learn English law over the weekend, get a job in security on Monday ! simple
But thought you guys all moan about them coming and not working ? 😂 why is it we then see them all working on each video ?
Prime minister by Tuesday.
RUclipsr on Wednesday
Racist much?
Different colour than you and automatically came here by boat!
Funny since its almost certain that your and my ancestors 'came here by boat' too.
Nice to see all these foreigners protecting us HAHA they haven't a clue
“Filming is not allowed”
“Why not?”
“Because you’re not allowed to film”
“Why not?”
“Because filming is not allowed”
And they think they make sense… You can’t make this stuff up!?! 🤦♂️
Immigrants telling indigenous uk residents what they can and can’t do … usually incorrectly
The look of disillusionment was so pronounced on the face of the first security guard! Could be a case of bringing his 'personal baggage' into work with him!!
Yes could well be And thankyou!!
The way things are going we will be the foreigners here
What a stupid statement.
@@NicolaMcElweehe's spot on the figures and predictions say he's riggt😂
I’m going to London in 2 weeks, got a feeling I might end up arguing most of the time
Fun fact here that the Southbank has the highest number of covert Police and other unspecified Government Agencies routinely patrolling the area
Do they stop all tourists from filming taking pictures
Immigration needs to pay these security companies a visit
Immigration has fasttracked these "workers" into the country.
Wow 3 or 4 of them telling british nationals what to do
The Indian guy is fuming at the end even after you told his boss that they done well.
👍👍👍👍
Absolutely brilliant big man. £1 lol keep the flag flying 🎉
Do any english people actually have a security job ?
The security manager ?
Disgusting prices there I would have to take a 2nd mortgage out. Enjoyed the vid TLA
Hes more of the security concerns, unreal telling a british petson what he can cant do
you mean by doing his job right, you find that unreal !? Hate to come across you, in your chosen job.
Don't worry folks we have the best security in the world especially imported from abroad 🙄🤣
Rip off london
Welcome to corporation land-London!
Alternative to the London Eye is the Sky Garden which is free, but they do recommend booking online which is still free.
The security risk is the sunak boat they came on.
I've had good dealings with Southbank security. All about those criminals on Westminster Bridge. The Romanian mafia who get free reign in front of Parliament, In front of New Scotland Yard, inside the Westminster secure zone, at a site of a terror attack. Very strange that one isn't it? Until you realise that its police by Charing Cross police station. The worst station in the UK. I've concluded there are back handers. It's why the money is divvied up in front of NSY. So the recipients can see their cut is the obvious explanation.
So I think this is one area where auditors can up their game. Video the scum. Call 999. Wait. Wait. Wait a long time. No response. It would jeopardise the kick backs. So then go and do a photo audit of the ministry of defence, or New Scotland Yard. They will obviously turn up fast. Which contrasted with the no response, causes problems. Why didn't they respond to a crime in progress? Are they policing the secure zone? Why are they protecting police and not the public? If they say no comment, then get NSY to send a PR person out. There and then. Who do they report to? Who told them to ignore the mafia? ....
Yet they have plain clothed hit teams arresting people for giving food to homeless it makes no sense...
I've seen some turbans in my time but that security bloke is 100% the Turbanator of all time it's like a massive beehive sitting on his Barnet
Probably carries all his samosas inside…
This nonsense of declaring "this is private property" is just passive aggressive rhetoric and it needs to stop. These places are publicly accessible - their reason for existence is to serve the public and most of them are publicly funded in one way or another! - and they usually have no signs indicating a transition from a public space to a private space nor what rules govern entry to the private space. Utter sh!te these people talk.
Yeah they always try that one, don't they? Tiresome. Anyway, great to see a manager acting in a totally professional manner - loved his shrug of the shoulders as if to say 'what's the big deal?' Top man.
why are they no taught the law when do there SIA badge ???
They are told about the workplace policy when they start. Not the law and not about rights.
We're you in India? 😂
Security concern? are not some of these security personnel a security risk?
Again.. Only foreigners employed!!!!
😮"Not Allowed! - Private Property!" ... hmmm🤔I have been in the hospitality business my whole working life, and I've never seen people visiting what is a tourist attraction treaded so inhospitably! ... So, good luck with that! ... Don't cry, when nobody bothers to visit anymore! 😱😖
I am getting sick of these foreigners telling people what they can and can't do in our country
They want you to leave mate lol so go
Why on earth would you want to visit London ,legal robbery.
I live here and can't wait to get out.
@@DreamClean I lived in Coventry, another shit hole ,now live in Lincoln, clean, lots of parks ,safe, and a bit off the beaten track, you could do a lot worse.
Good work TLA👏🏻
Brilliant we done young man enjoyed this 👍
£1 For a Piss😂😂
Free country 😅
So many Asian security people these days
Now THIS is funny😂😂😂😂
"The Southbank Centre’s buildings, riverside location and iconic central London backdrops provide standout settings for film, TV and photography shoots."
It's tight there on Royal festival Hall's website 😂😂😂😂😂
A pound a pish. That's outrageous. For that money I'd be expecting someone to shake it for me.
How much is it to visit the immigration experience?
Not allowed 😅
In the best @charlieveitch voice “NOT ALLOWED”😂😂
Charlie veitch if he grew up in Islamabad
He wasn't probably allowed to be in this country. he probably through his passport and the channel.
Stopped going to London in the 1980's as it was getting too expensive even then.
Hahaha 😂 another person came on dingy
Praise where praise is due, that's how it's done, well done tla..good work lad.
3 thick security who need retraining, obviously.
Needs an invasion of the Tripods! If I want to use a tripod, I bloody will. Or else what?
Gunga din said not allowed
I don’t understand how British security workers have zero awareness of British laws and customs
I highly recommend you do the County Hall entrance on Belvedere Road just behind the London Eye.
This magnificent building is currently used by the company called etc.venues
The security there are absolute tyrants and have this stupid sign up saying no loitering even though you're in a public space.
Feel free to loiter by the entrance and rest assured it will all kick off.
Good luck.
You have mentioned it before, and I will tey and get round to it my friend
Foreign Security telling you “it’s not allowed.” Where do they think they are, Scotland?
Well done to the security for their demeanour. Refreshing change from the norm. The thing I want to know is, if their boss understands public photography, who on earth is it that persists in telling them photography is not allowed?🤔 🤷
Southbank guys ruled it ! Enjoyed that , nice understanding of what you both believe is right and lawful. I might pop up there soon myself 👍
Well done to the security guards they were professional😊
Another great audit, South Bank smashed it. National theatre next door can learn a thing or two from these gents. And that toilet fee was literally taking the piss!
Don't talk sh#t.😂
Nice to be nice 🙂
Excellent content Mr laughter.
Always baffles me that some places charge to use a toilet. A true pisstake.
Prices outside London are just as extortionate.
e.g. In Southsea Shopping Centre (near Portsmouth, U.K.), a ''boutique'' cake & confectionery shop sells ONE Blueberry Muffin for £3-50p. Right next door in the Tesco Express mini-store, their price is FOUR for £1-25.
So on a comparison basis the cake shop is ELEVEN times more expensive than the Tesco shop. Outrageous!
And yes, a taste test reveals that their is no discernible difference between the two.
security are always clueless, unprofessional, and badly trained waste of money, retired, Lifeboatman
They're certainly ticking a few boxes
What country is this?
New Botswana
Scotland
Im guessing in parts of Africa and Asia theres a mass influx of English security guards 😅 thing is there though they will be aware of the laws there and know how to deal with them
The security guards were clueless about photography laws but were friendly enough.
They just need to be retrained on photography laws.
It is perfectly legal and lawful to photograph anything from a public place. The 'private property' is technically a public place and is openly accessible to the public.
The manager was professional and friendly.
What does the photography law say ?
@@mikeel6074 you can take photographs of anything, anyone and any car license plate or security feature, of a buisness or government building. There is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Homes are slightly different, in that there is an expectation of privacy in a residential home.
No permission is required to photograph anything from a public place. Anywhere that allows the public to enter freely can be concidered as a public place with implied public access.
Company policy does not override the laws.
@blobrana8515 What law is that ?
@@mikeel6074 there are laws and bylaws that prohibit photography in certain places and circumstances. But essentially it is perfectly legal and lawful to photograph anything from a public place.
"It is perfectly legal and lawful to photograph anything from a public place,"
This is Not how the law works here in England, you're confusing us with Napoleonic Code,
Common law is a bottom-up legal system that implies, “What is not forbidden is permitted.” In other words, common law defines what you can’t do while leaving you free to do everything else, while the Napoleonic Code, also known as civil law, is a top-down system that often becomes a vastly more bureaucratic and controlling approach to governing citizens, effectively spelling out in detail what you can do, under a “Government knows best” mantra.
Haha came off dingy 😅
Absolutely peed off being told by bloody foreigners what we can and cannot do in our own country.
Careful, I was once accused of being a racist when I commented something like this. I absolutely agree with you.
@@muddlepondbecause it is racist by its very nature
@@regggsssbahahahaha hilarious 😂everything is waycist bahahahaha hilarious 😂
Dumb security going on about filming and yet all of them have cameras around their necks!
Organisers of a gig at Kelvingrove confirmed by email that I could take a camera into the venue, if it was a "small" camera. I have two DSLRs so took the smaller one. Still got turned away at the gate while friends took photos with their "small" cameras and phones. It's crazy.
They all did pretty well here, considering it was difficult to understand at times☹and security with glasses was very calm and polite😊
I wish the other security guy had not answered radio and walked away, an ignorant trait most have, including the stasi. Just walk away from them and dont engage further !
I was expecting aggro from the manager with the look on his face as he swaggered towards you, but well informed and no problem/drama from him👏
That's definitely a pass ☑️
Thats annoying i was there too same day would have loved to say hi!
Love your professional approach. Great video as always
The London Eye, or as it's known in Scotland:
The London Yes.
Too funny 🤣🤣🤣
You have to pay a pound to spend a penny.
What's "milming", which is what he said? All you needed was Danny Boyle, to do a follow up to Slumdog Millionaire. Nice video TLA.
Great video, teaching the right to film in public they will learn one day possibly, stay safe, retired life boatman
" Nart Alard "
As Always.
TLA i really enjoy your vids mate, i have never been to London and the prices are the reason why. They think we are all tourists. Me being disabled is another reason, i`m in a wheelchair which would be a pain in the arse lol I prefer to watch stuff like this to see our Capital city so thanks again
Shame about the racism in the comment section.
Goodmorning from West Belfast IRELAND 🇮🇪 every1

More migrant security, wtf.
How bloody rude. Turning his back on you when you are talking to him.

Bloody hell, William Regal has let himself go a bit 😂😂
I was thinking that. 😉 I was frightened he'd put TLA in a headlock.
First words , not alwoooooood 😅 wind yer neck in and get back to work
I would like to know how much for the car parking?
I hear their moving the eye to loch Ness 🤣🤣🤣
kudos to all on that one!
Cameras are a security concern ? I would say the security guards are the real security/terrorist concern.
Nope, that would be MI5.
£1 to have a piss and you only have to walk a few more steps to the Royal Festive Hall and it's free.😂
As London been taken over ?
I've never had an issue taking photos around there. Looking forward to getting a DJI Pocket 3 for summer and I know I would not be so accommodating if they were to bother me. Keep it up.
Nice end to the video and fair for you to tell the manager they handled the issues well even if they didn’t know the law correctly.
Why is he working with what is obviously a very sore head 😂
If the guy with the turban's name was Singh, you should have asked for a quick look at his Kirpan 😉
More 3rd world security. And a professional looking camera is only for professional use if its used for your profession, Otherwise its just an expensive camera.
Such lovely words, we are not hear to disagree.
We live and always have live in a age misunderstanding.
It's a wise person who respects and responds positively like these two. I'm betting he's a lovely Hindu man .
