I started of at the Filipino Embassy and they smashed it so much so that I moved swiftly on the to New Zealand High Commission next door.
And it was there that things took a turn for the worse with the police yet again attending for a non-incident.

Very simple - this IS allowed in the UK, there does not have to be a reason for the filming. If you don’t want to be filmed (in one of the most photographed cities in the world with thousands of cameras eve try where), don’t work in a frontline, people facing job…

The security guy, although wrong, was pretty chilled. The police were even more chilled and I loved the quick greeting and then walk away. Spot On.

They need repatriation, it's gone too far. Native people need to be put into these positions first and foremost. And if they need migrants they should reach out to us English diaspora who are trapped abroad when they tricked our fathers to leave the country saying "We have too many workers, go shore up the colonies!" and gave them subsidised travel, at the same time they were inviting the "Windrush" scammers in with subsidised travel. It's not the Embassy thats a problem, a building that stands and looks back, its the security that takes offence to what your doing.He wouldn't stop talking and listen,he was right and everyone else is wrong.

Just sent a strongly worded email to our High Commission about the dismal failure of the front-facing security guard attached to MY country's reputation and the piss-poor job he did of representing the people of Aotearoa New Zealand. I explained that they'd do well to tell those they employ to pull their woolly heads in (pun intended) and sort their shit out when speaking to our host country's people. We have a long reach from over here and if we can get an American Zoo to completely change how they treat one of our national birds and a British museum to return treasured artefacts that were stolen, we can certainly get this guard either re-trained or joining the dole queue on Monday!😉

You should tell them the National Policing Guidelines on Charging for Police Services actually outlines costing on Page 7, and this call for service meets the SPS and this mans pay should be docked for the $800 it cost the British tax payer for this call out.

When staff phone the police why dont the police let them know the laws over the phone instead of sending units out ? All police phone operators should be clued up about public photography thus saving public money.
