- Today we are joined by @koleeberks to take a look around Lewisham Police Station, 43 Lewisham High St, London SE13 5JZ.
This place has been subject to many Audit Videos where constables have been heavy handed, so I thought it would be a great place to visit with the drone.
We walk around the whole perimeter and then take the drone up from the notorious back gate.

We must all so give praise to those Auditors that have had encounters with the rough hands from the staff that work there in days gone past. It is after all a huge breakthrough in what they all did to get this far in reprimanding the Police to the accountability of basic human rights. Big ^5 to you all. What a difference since AB's visit. I reckon they owe him a great deal more than the compensation he was awarded. A consultancy fee for retraining the officers would have cost much more.

To Plod or not to Plod was treated very badly there, along with others...... I can only come to the conclusion that someone high up has pulled in all the middle managers (Sergeants) and told them about the direction from the Police Chiefs.

The bridge possibly goes over the River Quaggy one of London’s covered or partially hidden rivers. The Quaggy being a tributary of the River Ravensbourne. The Army and Navy store basement was flooded regularly in Lewisham on that site.
Interesting info . That suggests the weight signage is there? A flat slab concrete instead of arch bridge? Mmmm you done some home work then so 9/10.
Where he is standing, just after the weak bridge sign, the river quaggy runs directly underneath. It's not a "bridge" per se, but it counts as one as you are crossing a river. Albeit a subterranean one.
The covering is to keep the cruise ships out , only submarines allowed up the Quaggy after heavy rain !
Nice to see Kolee outside a police station and not get abused and searched. At long last Lewisham have learned there lesson. I hope AB sees this 🇬🇧👍

The river Quaggy is culverted under lewisham high st hence the weak bridge. The river makes an appearance about 100 yds to the left (as you are looking at it.) of the police station.
11:30 made me lol.. I'm a remote tower crane operator, move skips like that around site all day :). might make a little video some time soon! it blows peoples minds when they 1st come to the site that we are building 6 blocks of flats and the 2 cranes on site are remote operated from the ground!

Nice result. That one of them recognised Koleeberks might have made them think that you are with him and doing the same thing, so not a threat since they have learnt (the hard way) that Kolee is not a threat - so long as they do things properly.

Good video and glad to see your not getting to the level of some auditors who do a good job but are too confrontational and argumentative and usually fetch out the worst in those they are auditing,keep it up.
To be honest, I usually find that most auditors mirror back the sort of attitude they're given by coppers. If the coppers are respectful and polite then most auditors will respond in kind. It's when coppers come out with bullshit 'terrorism' and 'this day and age' directives that are irrational and stupid that auditors will respond with attitude.
You should keep in mind that many auditors are fkng sick and tired of shit coppers, sick and tired of the threats and the egos and the cowardice because they have to deal with it week after week.

@@johnallright6847 DJ Audits slows the roll of a lot of cops by being so knowledgeable and that's why he so awesome. But even he has been arrested for legal, lawful acts.
I personally enjoy seeing bad cops with attitude met with attitude.

It's a sorry state of affairs when it takes members of the public to have to suffer harassment, falsely detain, illegally searched under section 43, false arrest, property stolen.
FOR THE POLICE TO LEARN THE LAW.
sec 43 should be used only under Sargent supervisor, also they should be a penalty if there will be used against normal people...
this is not a free pass over people's rights...

Great audit. Loved the info about the station. BTW it's pretty cruel to me as a person, who worked with and owned horses for 50 years, that they don't have a recreation area for them.

One of the nearby grassed areas that they take the horses is Blackheath. :)
Yeah!! they build a huge multi storey car park, but give minimal space for the poor horses.

Weak bridge is in reference to the sewers and the zone is little brass studs in the floor

It's good to see they have learnt not to try and use section 43 as they have before. Great to see your audits and how you correct the crown employees lack of knowledge and not be intimidated.
Always impressed with your drone videos. Very smooth, clear and precise. Nice to watch and easy on the eyes. I know the gyro helps but still very good work

The incident near the police station happened April 28th where a 18 year old was taken to hospital in critical condition. The met then confirmed on the 29th the condition was now stable.
I think I've just enetered an alternative universe. This is the second video I've watched today where police aren't offensive and hostile due to a drone over their station. Unreal! But you didn't get the guided tour like News Now Yorkshire did 🤔
It does make me feel like I’m “waiting for the next shoe to drop.”
People want to see confrontation, that's why these audits have gained so many views, let's not kid each other, if audit after audit only get Mr nice policeman giving guided tours then people will unsubscribe, and the auditor has no audience, no revenue, and no reason to go out auditing...or have they? People will always lose the plot when a dangerous camera is pointed in their direction. It's just a matter of time.

@11:48 The spikes on the left hand wall are pointless. You can jump up on the bannister on the right and be on the roof of the substation and past those spikes in a few seconds. I was watching a group of lads who do parkour here on YT, and they show you how easy it is to get past building defences like this.
Agreed, I also find it funny when they put all these high walls going round places and then supply thieves a laddered turnstile with zero protection to stop anyone climbing over, only takes one stupid asleep guard

When I was a kid I loved watching the draymen deliver the big wooden beer barrels to drop them in to the pub cellar they were fast and skilful. Even a little feller could kick them on to their curve to manoeuvre them on the lorry back then drop on to a sack then ropes to get them to the gantry door rope them as the drop in to the cellar down a ramp all done in quick time by a team of say three guys sixteen barrels down tapped and ready to be hand pumped once settled. They got free beer as a thanks from each publican
Well done DJ, you did very well and didn’t get much hassle as some of the other auditors have had quite a lot of grief from the cops and they didn’t have a drone up, but only a camera and they got threatened with arrest for filming outside the police station by some bully boys in blue.
The only way a scrap yard would normally take beer barrels is if you cut them up but the time and money spent to cut them isn't worth it
DJ - I’ve told my Mum - who is 85 - to watch your video. Brilliant coverage of Lewisham Police Station and it’s environs (my Mum’s cousin was married in St Stephen’s Church in the 60s). The drone footage was a real treat. Others have commented - but for the record the Quaggy River runs underground from behind those bright orange shops on Lee High Road to in front of St Stephen’s Church (all of which you can make out on the drone footage). The Quaggy finally joins the Ravensbourne (a tributary of the Thames) beyond those large apartment blocks. Thanks so much for your channel - and visiting Sarth (sic) London!

It's so annoying when they ask "what's your name mate" ... they should be told to say "I'd like to ask for your name, but you do not have to provide it to us"

Lesson learnt by them finally. A B paved the way. Still I say it was very brave of Mr K B and yourself to do this, with a drone as well. The AAF (Auditing Air Force) are out there TOP. Was amazed to see how much greenery is in the area. Great music also. 😎
KB left the drone to me on this day. He features more on the next 3 videos over the next 3 days but on this one he missed the quick "Sorry Mate" chat. They left us alone so I don't think KB will even post Lewisham from this day.
DJ audits and AB are the best auditors 100% - not naming no others but certain one very abuse for reactions and makes other look very very bad , when all I’ve done is learn from DJ and ab , watching the other just gives me anxiety 😂😂😡😡😡😂😂

yeh dj im waiting for my lawer he is a good lawer ,I only climbed though the hole in the basement wall just fitted through. It took us all night drilling that hole in that bank i was the youngest at 68 years old .

@18:38 Yet more weakness's spotted. The right hand wall has a very handy yellow bollard to help people up, and they've even lowered the wall just above it, to let people get a good grip to pull themselves up. Twirling spikes to the left of the gate, and nothing to the right, except for some stuff to help you up. Madness.

really interesting seeing your drone footage over the police station. Many years ago I used to run the Yates's wine lodge which had the ground floor of the building before it was sold and the police took it over.
I had the odd drink in there......

They're not barrels, they're kegs (for the most part from what I can see), and they are most likely 11 gallon kegs...! A barrel is a measurement, just as firkin is 9 gallons and kilderkin is 18 gallons. I think a barrel is 72 gallons... 😉👍
Unless I misunderstood, you said they only have 2 security entrances/exits.
For the 'largest purpose built police station in Europe', that would seem to present a response problem in the event of a major incident. They could be hemmed up inside by anyone considering an incident, while others involved in an incident could carry on unmolested.
Seems to be a major flaw that should be addressed.
