- Today we are joined by @NewsNowYorkshire as we take a look at Canley Police Station, Sir Henry Parkes Rd, Canley, Coventry CV5 6BL.
This is a very small station with a closed front desk so we use the drone to have a good look around.
We see the Police Dog van and the Dog Kennel and then a Police Van arrives with 2 Constables inside who stop for a chat with us.

What a level headed conversation. The cop got all his questions answered without being abrasive or confrontational. The boys educated him without the threat of violence to themselves. Isn’t this how policing has meant to be done in the U.K. ?👍👍🏴

I sincerely believe that officer earned his medals for a reason and I wish him all of the best. He's an open and decent person and we should all thank him for his service. I hope to see more like him and his colleague. Well done guys.

Brilliant guys and those officers are exactly what we need to see, polite and smart enough to interact and he got more out of the conversation than most police. not all members of the public are crooks. I wonder if it is because he was ex forces that meant he didn't need to have the modern day "failed doorman ego" that many of the new recruits seem to have? Willing to listen, learn and discuss like an actual adult!

Proper ex forces too. Not to tar everyone with the same brush but to have served in Bosnia and this guy is a different generation and different mindset to those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan

Anther great DJ audit. Although a team audit with NNY this is effectively two stand alone audits, being able to back each other up and share resources. This must represent great value for money for the auditors in question. DJ is always polite and clear, very knowledgeable and a joy to watch. Fantastic.

Great stuff chaps, as much as it is really entertaining to watch silly sausages getting their knickers all in a twist it's much more satisfying and defo restores a bit of faith when the interaction is positive.

Well done the two cops a very positive PR exercise for the force and good interaction from yourselves. It does make a change to see decent non-confrontational cops who know how to deal with people.

I have loved your videos so much, that I have just spent the last 5 hours reading the CAA rules on flying a drone, and I have now passed the test, and got the licence so thank you for this DJ, I got myself a new hobby.
Now all I need to do it find the money to get the DJI MINI 2 which are not cheap.

What a wonderful interaction with the 2 constables. Although he didn't know all the laws in regards to drones (and admitted it), he wanted to learn from you. He didn't try to make you feel uncomfortable for doing a legal activity and showed a real interest by also watching not just audits, but also drone audits. I have tried to access the link for compliments, but as I am in AU it will not let me access it. Although I like to see the bad interactions with police, I love to see great interactions like this one. It shows they are just doing a job (which is hard) and they are human. Great to see no agro, no ego and real communication with the public. Not only did he not ask for names, he knew you didn't have to ID and didn't go anywhere near suspicion or section 43, etc. Keep up the great work/footage. In these times of travel restrictions, RUclips is one of the only ways to see other countries

This is such a good example of how a adult conversation between the the police and members of the public should be. They were prepared to listen, ask the right questions and admit that they had it wrong but would put it right. How refreshing compared with the usual interaction and our two auditors really acquitted themselves so well recognising that they were talking with two intelligent officers. Well done all round.
