I decided to go back in time and watch a video of you guys 5 years ago I think! I can’t believe I’ve been on your journey for over that long! Weird watching a video without Leo, Leeka and Brandon!!!
@Trent. I've never commented on any of these van life videos before but that moment at 11:27 when you go 'holy crap that's huge' and just stop. Is absolutely hilarious because it's so raw and vulnerable. You're obviously not trying to be a tough guy and you're showing it all. Great videos guys. I'm getting my own van within a month and will be on the road too! ~ Nick
I love the bike riding part. I felt I was riding along with you. Thank you so much for the ride and beautiful scenic adventure. Blessings to you and Allie. I wish you all the best of luck in your daily life situation. Luv you lots. 🙏🏻😍😊
Lol! While I wait for your new video, I go back and catch old videos I haven't saw. Knowing you and Allie and your "nesting" side, this was hilarious!!😂 Unknown trails are like building your first house together, you never know what lays in store around the next bend!!😂 I love that y'all grab life by the horns and hang on, enjoying the ride, good or bad!! Hope little ginger snap is ready to meet his 350,000 aunties and uncles!!💖😄💖 Sure everyone watching has a special place in their heart for y'all as I do....or it could be a southern thang, where we just love everybody!! Nah😂 Hope y'all have a blessed week!!
😮 that was intense. Glad you made it back unscathed. I was scared for you guys especially at the top edges of mountain. This video was like watching a scary movie. 😅 phew
I love you guys! I’m new to the channel and can’t help but notice how positive you guys are about everything! It’s amazing! Keep doing what you’re doing!
JUST started watching this video and one of the things I love about you guys is that Allie, you are a good storyteller. The way you told that story about hoping the bugs were asleep was adorable. And Trent is just so funny all the time. Thanks for letting us share in these snippets of your life, for those of us who are house dwellers (for now). I'm afraid to watch the rest, don't want to see Allie hurt! I'm sure it will turn out fine....
Trent, after watching your *stressful* ride down Lithium, when you got back to your van, I thought, "thank god we're HOME!" I love the idea of living out of a van, and I'm doing it as soon as it becomes feasible! Thanks for all the entertaining and informative videos!
WOW!!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!! Now I know why you are both so thin! Great video! Beautiful scenery! !! Thanks for sharing that crazy bike ride with us!!!
Okay... While watching you guys go careening down that Hill my jaw hit the floor and rolled underneath the coffee table. I truly admire the two of you and your ability to take on as much challenge as I've seen. Travel Channel... Just think about it!!!
Wow. Amazed Allie is still with you after that kind of fun. Amazed Trent is still with Trent. Bless your hearts. That was scary and unimaginably tiring. Allie is a trooper. Never seen her so subdued. I've only been a subscriber since Central America. Haven't watched many trail bike videos. Wow.
Same here. This scared me to death. Even though I know they are OK because I'm watching their newest videos now in July 2920. But I thought they were going to fly right off that trail or fall and get hurt. Or run right into a tree! Seems very dangerous!
Hey guys, try vinegar and water in a spray bottle for the insects. I use it straight. It will also help around the campsite if you mist the area. Take care!
I love how Trent was able to stop dead in his tracks before barreling over a jump. Intense run and loved the footage throughout this video. Too bad there wasn't a human sized drone that could have picked Allie up at the top.
I can't tell you how many times I gasped. That was a GREAT video! Thank you! This one reminded me of the years I spent riding bike trails (not steep like that) here in the Midwest. One in particular -- for me, at age 60, (then), I did like 25 miles every day. This was on Sundays, always b/c I'm still a working woman! Not for long! But wow - thanks for sharing.
Be sure to head over the pass to Grand Targhee where you will find great XC trails in excellent shape. Skip the chair and just ride two loops out to the right and three loops out to the left. No dusty, bumped up trails, just lovely single track!
Been debating building my own van for my girlfriend and I, watching your videos have been a great inspiration and given me some awesome ideas on how we plan to build our van. We live in Wyoming, I was born and raised in the Big Horn mountains and I highly highly recommend traveling through the Big Horns the Shell falls are something everyone should see. Just beyond the falls is county road 16 ( also called Shell road) if you follow that road it will take you to without a doubt the most beautiful sights in all of Wyoming. Beautiful lakes beautiful vistas. Giants cliffs. It’s a cant miss. Also towards the end of the road is the medicine lodge lakes and paint rock lodge. The lodge is over 100 years old and completely off the grid. And kept very much in its original state. My father is the outfitter of the lodge and I’m sure he would be happy to stock you guys up on water and whatever else you may need aswell as direct you to the best sights and routes to your next location!
Hi guys! If you ever make it back to Washington you have to ride Olallie!! It's a beast of a climb like this but the ride back down is sooooo smooth and flowy!! The best ride I have ever been on!!! not all rough and stumpy/rocky just heavenly flow!!
Wow, nice downhill single track!!! Ever tried the backside of former Ft. Ord in Monterey, think you would love it too! And after you are done, it's only a few mintues' ride drive back into town, either Marina, Seaside of Monterey and grab some lunch and a nice brew! Following you two, keep it up!
Mosquito bites are SO itchy. I have severe allergies and do not use a lot of products etc even on my hiar like you do the "goop" you talked about in your curly hair video. Back on topic. I found a really good chigger and skeeter product at Home Depot a place I know you know about. It is a $1 item and as non-toxic as I could find for outside yard work and mowing. It is a little round orange colored "bracelet" I put on my wrist and/or ankle while mowing. I have thought I'd get 4 and use all them strategically placed, but have not yet done so. I can attest to the fact if I forget my orange stretchy arm/ankle bracelet my back starts itching just minutes after a couple trips across the yard with my Ryobi green machine battery operated and push button start new mower! No gas; no fumes--another plus for my allergies. Love you two!
LOL on the uphill part. Then the going downhill had me going OH, SHIT!!!! You ever are in the Bryson, NC area you will have to try Tsali bike trail. Very awesoome. I did it 17 years ago.
May have been the worst Mountain biking decision ever, but you two made it! The whole way! Feel proud of your accomplishment! And never go there again XD
Funny thing I have been there too and I had the same experience. The bugs are horrible there. I live for the climb. I rode the same trail. And yup I did hiking too.
Loved this. Came for the van life and bonus boom mountain biking. Glad you filmed the struggle up too as felt I was with you struggling yet I was laid in bed 😆
Nice video, I have been going to JH since 77, first for rock climbing and later to ski. I need to get out there to ride, I will take the shuttle for sure. I have experienced those bugs first hand, not good for sure take care
As you trek up that mountain with your bikes, just think about the fact that you would have missed all that beauty if you had shuttled up. Sometimes it's just nice to take the slow route. Stop and smell the roses whole thing. It is SO BEAUTIFUL!! Also, I don't know if either of you do any native edible wild plant foraging but you had some amazing opportunities on that gorgeous mountain. You could have brought some dandelion back to make a salad with dinner. I always do that when I go in nature. It's such a rich experience.
Man, you scared me!! Booking down that mountain. Glad you're in one piece at the bottom. Your adrenaline made you pooped, kudos for you both for sharing while riding
CRAZY! I was worried the whole time about Allie behind you. It would have been a bummer if she wiped out and you had to go back UP to find out where she was 😖 . Definitely looked challenging...my husband would love it!
Luv it “I just want to call an Uber” classic!! I flipped and face planted on a relatively easy trail last summer. I would no longer tackle anything like Lithium. In my heyday, I rode down an escalator in West Germany. 😮
It looked pretty tough out there, even MrsW described it as "Gnarly". Just minute, that's the first time Julie's ever used that word. Anyway really loving the new van layout, great job and thanks for inviting us along...
Hey hey!! We are helping expand and progress your modern vocabulary through RUclips!! That’s awesome. Thanks for coming along from Trent and Allie to the wheelers 😊
Ever try Citrulline Malate? A half tsp before your ride and after will help with that post lactic acid burn. Work up your doseage until your use to the "rush"feeling! Good for long hikes as well. Ride on!
I live in Jackson Hole. Oh. Em. Gee...I can't believe you rode UP Black Canyon! Y'all are maniacs. So many kudos and hope you were able to replace those calories quick! (Totally agree with your Frisby Ridge comment...such a beautiful ride in Revy! Long and definitely easier than what you did in JH) Also, everybody bagging on the shuttle option might want to know the up is close to 3,000ft of elevation gain... Again. So. Many. Kudos.
People who are oblivious to what we actually rode up are just ignorant haha. I've ridden plenty of uphills... I race enduro for christ sake i know how to ride my bike up and down. This was a nightmare climb haha. Glad we got enjoy the descent at least haha. Thanks for helping put it in perspective for the haters!! :)
Yea...those skitter bites..yuk...Hey Homegirl...I've seen that t-shirt somewhere before...Best thing about being exhausted is the R and R afterwards...continue with the fun...last pic of Frankthedog...the nose knows...you guyz so cool...
That was scary, my son does mountain bike racing, now I’ll really worry about him. I have a Mountain Klein bike, I love it but have never ridden a trail like that, won’t be any time ever. I was worried you were going to fly off the edge.
Well, I thought it was a great video. Especially Frank up on the bed watching over the bikes getting prepped. Frank was making sure you did everything correctly. And I’m not sure why he didn’t get an egg? As a note, I have total respect for those who choose to do the ride up. Makes the downhill more fun. I’m not sure we even have shuttles here. Ciao’
We are used to riding up that’s why we went this route but we might not have wanted to haha. Either way it was fun and frank deserved an egg you’re right
The towel toss on the dog's head, and the dog totally looks like he had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth was PRICELESS. I know the cigarette was just an illusion caused by the background... but hells yeah!
There's a non charged spray bottle of "Eucalyptus and lemon oil" that keeps mosquitoes away. Love it. The shuttle riders are baby's you are are the way the West was won, you don't need no stinking shuttles. You had to be a lot prouder of your ride then those that cheated. Good for you!
Wow riding up to Lithium from the top of the Pass is torture enough, but riding up from the bottom - that really is the worst decision ever. Lithium is a tough long ride!! I'm back there in 3 weeks - I shouldn't have watched your video it's reminded me of how tough it is :D
I couldn't watch this! It was scaring me when you put us on the go pro as you went down so fast. I was hoping you wouldn't run into a tree or something or fall off the side! I know you posted this years ago now but I can't get over how scary that looks!
I decided to go back in time and watch a video of you guys 5 years ago I think! I can’t believe I’ve been on your journey for over that long! Weird watching a video without Leo, Leeka and Brandon!!!
Poor Allie, my heart went out for you.
i just watch this and you two scared the crap out of me. WOW, you two.
@Trent. I've never commented on any of these van life videos before but that moment at 11:27 when you go 'holy crap that's huge' and just stop. Epic ride! Allie you are pretty badass for doing that trail, Trent- you are just crazy!
Thanks Anne!! I'll take that as a compliment haha
Allie you were such a trooper, glad you made it through :)
Great to see you guys on the trail again. Jackson looks amazing
Oh man it was so much fun!!! Thanks for watching
Thanks Noah!! So glad you enjoy our outlook on life! we really appreciate that
Wow! That was intense. So glad you had it under control! Better you than me riding that down hill.
That was scarry. . Thanks God, both of you could make it. Unforgetable experience.
You guys are insane!!!!!!!!! Trent I was freaking out just being along on your camea. Glad you both got back safely...
Great job on the trail. That was nerve-wracking. Thx for sharing.
JUST started watching this video and one of the things I love about you guys is that Allie, you are a good storyteller. The way you told that story about hoping the bugs were asleep was adorable. What a great video. And Allie really showing off her skills going up that mountain and her good looks at any moment notice. ;)
She is really good at that ;)
Trent, after watching your *stressful* ride down Lithium, when you got back to your van, I thought, "thank god we're HOME!" I love the idea of living out of a van, and I'm doing it as soon as it becomes feasible! Thanks for all the entertaining and informative videos!
Thanks for watching Adam! Couldn't do it without guys like you :)
Can I just say I love y'alls banter back and fourth
Haha so glad you enjoy it! Theres a lot of it
Wow... You are doing great. I am watching you continuously now..
Yay!! Stoked you like our videos Saty!!
I am coming to Toronto, Canada. hope I can buy or build one Van for me... ;)
Agree! I have SB5+ and ordered i9 Enduro 305 29 inch wheels. Running Fox 36 160 mm up front and DPX2 in rear. Can’t wait to ride with new wheels!
Nice I put the fox float x2 in the rear and Santa Cruz reserve wheels on and it’s a dream!!
I like Trent's repeated "Oh goodness!" on the way down the hill.
You can tell i was a little intimidated haha
WOW!!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Now I know why you are both so thin!
Great video! Beautiful scenery! !!
Thanks for sharing that crazy bike ride with us!!!
Thank you for watching Debbie!! So glad you liked this video 😊 it’s a little different from the van life stuff
Holy crap! I'm too old to watch these types of videos with you two, hahaha. My knuckles were white just watching. 😲
Haha we don't mean to put you on the edge :)
Me too 😩 but these two keep it very interesting.
Okay... While watching you guys go careening down that Hill my jaw hit the floor and rolled underneath the coffee table. I truly admire the two of you and your ability to take on as much challenge as I've seen. Travel Channel... Just think about it!!!
We're hoping the travel channel finds us haha!! Thanks for the vote of confidence though!! really makes us feel good :)
Wow.

it was nice to see you guys riding again! Plus using the killer van setup! When you come back to Washington raging river or Olallie is a blast!
We'll be back there soon enough and we'll make more biking videos when the scenery calls for it ;)
Hey guys, try vinegar and water in a spray bottle for the insects. I use it straight. It will also help around the campsite if you mist the area.
Take care!
ah good tip, we'll have to try that! thanks!
You two are so funny! Way to keep a sense of humor while aboard the struggle bus.
it was a rough day! humor definitely makes a difference :)
Nice ride down just wished we could see the views of the the mountains. Camera worked great with the image stabilizer wow . Thanks for the ride
Those trail scenes really took me for a ride , thank you .
Glad you liked them Mark!!
Holy Crap, that was scary. One wrong turn and bye bye spinal chord. Glad you survived. 😜
Haha that’s right Kristen!! Pretty intimidating at times but so much fun!!
How awful! I hate those bugs. How nice that Trent cooks so well. Man of many talents. I have never been on a bike ride. That was awesome!!
The bugs were so bad!! Ugh unbearable
I love how Trent was able to stop dead in his tracks before barreling over a jump. Intense run and loved the footage throughout this video. Too bad there wasn't a human sized drone that could have picked Allie up at the top.

Thank you and sorry the video made you woozie
Trent & Allie No worries. I couldn't turn away, it was scary and exciting all at the same time.
Yay! Mt biking video! You did great. I would be crying too
Glad you liked it Amber!!
Holy cow! My heart was racing just watching this video!
Pretty exciting huh!
Trent & Allie totally!
Wow!!! That sure was a bumpy ride downhill. Allie, you are so brave. I would not have made it downhill unscathed. 😮
Be sure to head over the pass to Grand Targhee where you will find great XC trails in excellent shape. Skip the chair and just ride two loops out to the right and three loops out to the left. No dusty, bumped up trails, just lovely single track!

I was petrified for you on the way down. Never done that before so now I’ve experienced it. You guys are amazing

You guys rock! Very strong, great will power and very motivated. I would have been dead. Thanks for the videos! 🤗😗

there's a shuttle from the wilson sporting goods store! I think its near the bike shop... also riding the paved path is much easier
Yeah we messed up on this trip haha. Next time we'll shuttle for sure haha
Literally dying as Trent Describes the track downhill
Hi guys! If you ever make it back to Washington you have to ride Olallie!! It's a beast of a climb like this but the ride back down is sooooo smooth and flowy!! The best ride I have ever been on!!! not all rough and stumpy/rocky just heavenly flow!!
That sounds like a dream Gary!! We’ll definitely wanna ride that when we come back
No way would I ride that kind of trail. Too scary for me. Glad both of you made it safely back to the van. Love the view at the top!!
Glad you made it down alive! Crazy ride.
Yeah it was quite the ride Haha
Allie, you are an inspiration. Thanks.
I am a complete wreck! That looked so scary. Glad you made it safe.
Beautiful pup!
Thanks Dave! We love him
That was awesome, I even got a few stomach tickles on the way down. Great video, I hope that you recovered quickly.
It took a day or two but we’re good now haha thank you
Mr Safety Loves all your safety equipment!
nicely done. Looks like some awesome adventures.
Really was a great time!!
LOL on the uphill part. Then the going downhill had me going OH, SHIT!!!! You ever are in the Bryson, NC area you will have to try Tsali bike trail. Very awesoome. I did it 17 years ago.
We'll have to put that one on the list!!
Nice at least we're not alone
Gnarly!!! I LOVE your mountain biking videos
Loved this. Came for the van life and bonus boom mountain biking. Glad you filmed the struggle up too as felt I was with you struggling yet I was laid in bed 😆
I'm glad I have lots of "worst ideas". No regrets. We overcome and move on. Like I've always said, "What does not kill you almost kills you!".
Haha that’s an awesome slogan LOL Love it
Nice video, I have been going to JH since 77, first for rock climbing and later to ski. I need to get out there to ride, I will take the shuttle for sure. I have experienced those bugs first hand, not good for sure take care
Thanks Scott! The riding is as good as the climbing or skiing!! Get out there for sure
You both are CHAMPS! Way to make it fun :) Love.
Thanks Sage!!
Its just sweaty eyeballs! another great vid! thanks yall
Thank you Will!! Glad you liked it! It was a fun one

Your adrenaline made you pooped, kudos for you both for sharing while riding
Don’t leave Allie behind !
What a fun video. The trail looks like a blast. My wife doesn't ride so my saving grace is that I always have a shuttle driver with me. :-)
Perfect setup you have there 😉
From 15 years ago when I lived there, we rode up Old Pass Road and then down Black Canyon. Lithium was not in existence yet.
Yeah can you imagine climbing up black canyon?
WOW! that ride looked freaky!. Cheers.
🥰 oh Allie, that looked really rough, 🤗, love you 💕, one of your fans, it’s 1/2023
CRAZY! I was worried the whole time about Allie behind you. It would have been a bummer if she wiped out and you had to go back UP to find out where she was 😖 . Definitely looked challenging...my husband would love it!
its funny i have a mountain bike and its never seen dirt only asphalt. You made that look like a lot of fun.
Ahh man you really need to get that thing off road!! You’ll love it
Luv it “I just want to call an Uber” classic!! I flipped and face planted on a relatively easy trail last summer. I would no longer tackle anything like Lithium. In my heyday, I rode down an escalator in West Germany. 😮
I appreciate being able to simulate biking, only way I'll ever make it on a trail!
Glad you enjoy it Kathryn
I felt like I was on the bike leaning right with you. Better you than me. Happy both of you came out without injury.
It looked pretty tough out there, even MrsW described it as "Gnarly". Just minute, that's the first time Julie's ever used that word. Anyway really loving the new van layout, great job and thanks for inviting us along...

Love your vlogs!
Thanks Charity!! Glad you enjoy them! This ride was terrifying in person too haha
This have me suuccchh anxiety but also inspiration to want to break my old mountain bike out 😀😍 glad you guys were safe and made it haha!
That's awesome!! Get that bike out and enjoy it!!
Yea...those skitter bites..yuk...Hey Homegirl...I've seen that t-shirt somewhere before...Best thing about being exhausted is the R and R afterwards...continue with the fun...last pic of Frankthedog...the nose knows...you guyz so cool...

That was a crazy ride!!! Wow!
WHOA! I was excited for you guys!
Haha good to hear! Thanks for watching 😁
That was scary, my son does mountain bike racing, now I’ll really worry about him. I have a Mountain Klein bike, I love it but have never ridden a trail like that, won’t be any time ever. I was worried you were going to fly off the edge.
So scaryyyyyyyy!! Wow! I couldnt even watch the whole thing... but seemed great!!!
Haha it’s ok, we don’t blame you for not being able to watch it all. It’s really fun but can be hard to watch
OUF thx for you understanding ! ;-)!
Xcary! I rode bikes most of my years, but never like that! Wicked Awesome!
Thanks seastorm! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Props off to you 2 I couldn’t have done that
Thanks 😎🤘🏼
nice ride guys, thanks!
Thanks Dan! It was a hard one

I couldn't watch this! It was scaring me when you put us on the go pro as you went down so fast. I was hoping you wouldn't run into a tree or something or fall off the side! I know you posted this years ago now but I can't get over how scary that looks!
That made me anxious! :)
Good job.
