I really hope they keep going this way, maybe even add the speed back in, but since they are noticeably lighter weight, they might be a handful going much over 50, but I intend to find out hahahaha.
Cool! Great to see another positive report on one these little rippers as I wait for mine to finally arrive; it really seems like the buggy to have at that price.
It's THE budget buggy to have PERIOD! WLtoys really impressed me with this one and I hope this is their new direction. Maybe they'll even make them into 60 MPH speed demons again. But even if they don't, the car is great and you can always make them faster yourself if you like.
This is the car I've always wanted from WLtoys. Something cheap, tough, that drives and handles well, and even though it isn't as fast as the old buggies, I don't care, it really is a great all-round RC. I haven't had that much fun with a review in a while!
Got myself one of these as well. Absolutely rips and run time is fairly long! Only problem I've had was my right rear wheel axle got messed up on the 4th run. There was so much movement to where the dogbones are placed. Rookie mistake by me however, I should've checked it first beforehand 😅 Got the parts I needed, otherwise this is by far my favorite rc car from Wltoys
@Rek RC Same here dude. If Wltoys keeps making them like this in the future, then they're definitely stepping in the right direction 👍 Awesome video by the way, keep it up 🔥
@Rek RC Oh dude I just watched that today actually, thing took one hell of a beating and I'm impressed! The build quality is great for this buggy as you've mentioned. For the price of it, it's definitely worth it
I have one, the rear wing ws bent in shipping so I put an LC racing white wing which is much better and I run it on the CNHL 3s 2200mah 30c black batteries bought 4 for £45 almost an houra worth of bashing on the 4 batteries 😁👍 great little basher buggy
Anyone who has this? Can you turn down speed on this so it is more manageable for a young kid so he doesn't break it in the first few days? Is it controllable?
just did my first testrun on one, you can dial it down enough to drive it in chinashop, i rode it around the basketball court and kept it at down to 50%, if you put it on full its more like a nitro car
I really appreciate you saying that, and I really wish it were true. I might be the worst driver actually hahahahaha. But it makes me good at testing durability, so being a bad driver has some value of sorts.
@@eduardomalcom2228 actually with that particular car you be better off just getting another 3s lipo as long as you don't mind just taking the battery case apart, which is what I did, but then I still got another 3s lipo for it.

I'd say check out the skatepark video and see what you think. Personally I think it's a very durable car especially for the price, but someone else might think it's not. I can say it survived several 30 foot high launches.

@@Rek_Rc I have read 10+ reviews of it but no one ever talked about why to use 3s to get a slow speed... what's the point here. No negative comments on your video, but just cannot understand WLtoys 's logic here

It looks like a real winner. Drive shafts look real beefy and the plastic / composite is much better than the aluminum. Great car for sure.
