@@TheDragoMorph I actually didn’t realize that was a thing. I suppose 98% of the time if you are granting haste it’s because you are going to attack with the creatures in question, so this is a pretty weird edge case where you have: Card that grants haste, cards that don’t tap after attacking with haste, and a tap ability that occurs on an opponents turn. During the 3 Birgi game you were worrying about having enough green mana to cast your double green legends - leveling up your second bard class would have solved that problem at the cost of only a single green.
Watching this list draw through it's entire library in a single turn reminds me of my current artifact storm list which abuses Birgi, enthusiastic mechanuat, and all the cantripping 1 and 2 mana artifacts in standard to eventually win with dragonspark reactor. The deck is very skill intensive and incredibly vulnerable to every form of disruption, but it is so much fun as you solitaire your way to victory.
22:16 Halana and Alena would have come into play with an extra +1/+1 counter due to bard class and eat the Echo if they attacked... Still not in a great place, but better than just conceding.
I absolutely love this deck, it uses many standard cards that i find so fun to play but couldn't get to build around (Jacob, bard class, birgi, magda, ...) , and you just nailed it with those few additional pieces from neon dynasty!
We need the ultimate jank with a hell of ramp to get an infinite amount of Komas with Mirror Box Jin Gitaxias (to copy the double colorless mana thing) and Lithoform Engine. The enemy will explode in a million of stupid 3/3 snakes
8:40 Frogski achieved. 10:02 Sounds like Crim's nicknames are taking hold in your brain. LegenVD just did the straight Gruul version of this deck yesterday. I wonder if that means it's going to be everywhere in play queue now, or if it's just too expensive in wildcards for random people to play.
Only suggestion having played a similar deck a lot: add world tree to the mana base so you can reliably cast prismatic bridge on an empty board without other means to generate colored mana
I built an UN-deck with a similar concept but you could pull it off on turn 1 with the right opening hand. I went with infinite turns and rod of spanking as my win-con. LOL good times
The blue and interaction is way too greedy for what this deck wants to do. Check out LVDs video with the RG version. Though his is for best of one so that's something to consider but yeah that version basically never whiffs. Croaking Companion is also really bad since it doesn't give you a cast trigger you might as well play the legend that clones other creatures on attack from DnD
I mean, I think it depends on your goal. If you're trying to do the most spectacular thing possible with Mirror Box I'm pretty sure it involves clones and blue mana. If you're trying to win as much as possible with Bard Class than blue/clones isn't necessary.
@@MTGGoldfish It's conflicting strategies imo. Jacob at least feels very out of place and should probably be Plargg which is a legend that can actually dig for your combo pieces and is also just a cheap creature. Ahh, thanks, I was trying to figure that one out
What he needed to do was make a treasure with magda, so he could activate goro-goro to give haste and thus have mana to counter.
