    Thanks for the video Peter. Dont hold back with the complaints at the end, I thought I was the only one who had issues with letting agencies and tenants. Changed a standard sized cracked shower head recently for a letting agency, the Tenant complained that the new head spray stings her skin. Ffs it's the same size head just a different brand, dont turn the water on full blast next time. Utter bullshit stories from tenants. Get your own damn shower head next time if you are very picky. Cheers

    More complaints please (don't suppose you get many). My mate had a complaint made against him, and it WAS investigated, because he dropped the tenants chocolate bar off a worktop onto the floor. It was in a wrapper so he picked it up and thought no more of it, but the tenant complained to our office, lol.

    Pb with reference to your question :- which way to put cooling fan if you have a cool air replacement near your working area then point fan away so as to draw the cool make up air past you for cooling if not then direct it so as to be in a cool air stream ...like a heat circulator/pump.. it only pushes as much air as it can pull !!!

    Love the little rant at the end. What gets on my nerves is when you go to a simple job like a torn WC syphon diaphragm and you know what it is straight away once they say you’ve got to pump the handle to get it to flush, but they insist on telling you the whole history of faults they’ve had with the toilet since it was installed 20 years ago. You try and tell them that this is unrelated to the leak from 5 years ago but they tell you anyway.

      "Thanks for calling but I'm in the middle of a complete heating instal/bathroom refit and tile/playing with my little boy" (take that as a statement of fact or a euphemism) The rise in want want want, now now now entitlement culture enrages me no end. So, what exactly constitutes an emergency call out? Seemingly anything nowadays. "I get a bonus for finishing ahead of schedule and on cost. If you want me to down tools, gather them up and race across the city for your "emergency, will you pay for my loss of earnings?"
      "But it's a gas leak!"
      "I'm on my way--------------------->"

PB told me about a few videos he has planned for us and they are really good ideas I really look forward to seeing them.
    We're in a time now where so much information and trade tips are available for plumbers and apprentices, there is no better time than this to fine-tune your skills and become an expert tradesman for those who are serious about the trade.

      I usually try and avoid wafting the itchy fluff around. Sometimes I wear a mask but the reality is crawling around a loft is arduous and coupled with the extreme temperature, wearing a mask is bloody horrible and feels pretty unhealthy in itself. If I can avoid creating the dust I don't wear a mask.
      The biggest issue with me and dust is usually brain dead agency labourers on site who seem to like sweeping up near where I am working creating clouds of dust. They must like watching me work because they never choose to sweep up in the empty rooms let alone sprinkle water.
