Looking forward to test riding a GS in the next 30 - 60 days also thank you for the feedback it’s great to get an honest opinions from people who ride everything 👊
Man does that sound sweet. No Multistrada's at my dealer, I'm looking at the 1300GS, may pull the trigger. I do agree... Multistrada is the best for looks, power and comfort, the complete package
First time watch of your channel and the bike is real attractive . Though not sure why the colour scheme tempted me into watching despite a wierd set of circumstances that made it HARD to get back to the thumbnail I wanted to see. (this vid.) It's FAST man! Very FAST. I'm astonished that it doesn't pop wheelies when you open the throttle. Easiest ride I ever had was an 82 XL honda and the open riding position does it. Handles well coz a rider is in a comfortable position to apply movement with or without strength. The tech on this Ducati is pretty outstanding. It looks set to race most forms of road transport around the place if the need arises . That's sadly a great advantage in a motorcycle with the bananas that always have, occurred in cars from time to time. Very good motorcycle to introduce to your public and an excellent review at that .
The number 1 reason I did not get the V4 was because it is fast 🙂 I've had several race bikes, and I learned something about myself. I'll use the bike as intended. So if it's a race bike I'm going to do the 189 MPH and I've been on NJMP for a track day. That Ducati sounds incredible and looks amazing! I would be flying on that beast. My GS will indicate 145 MPH so l'll never go faster than 145. The GS encourages touring. Love that Ducati but I'd be back to my old ways again 🙂
@@Roadglide117 completely agree on GS. I’ve ridden it and while it’s a solid bike, doesn’t compare to GS in my opinion, not to mention all the problem’s they’ve had.
This is good content. I don’t believe you can take this off-road. Granted it has the same suspension travel as the v4s but its way stiffer so i don’t see how that would work. Not sure if they also make a 190 rear knobby tire. One thing it’s worth mentioning is that because it falls under the ADV category within the manufacturers spec, you pay adv insurance. Probably a fraction of what you’d pay (including myself) if they put it where it actually belonged. Keep it up! Good stuff
@@MRider24900 thank you, I appreciate it. I’ve actually taken it off-road(and dropped). Check out video library titled 49 years in the making if you want to check it out. You are spot on insurance costs 🤙
Sick bike my friend a real all around bike. I’m not sure if you road the new 2024 Road Glide but you really need to I honestly think it’s time, I traded in my 2020 street and can’t be any happier.
Ducati is a beast, I only have a GSA right now and I love it, ofcourse its tuned with exhaust and stuff but I wheelie the shit out of it and it will keep up with Multistratas for a while then there gone but only by a little, not a whole lot, I ride the GS like a sport bike, top speed on my bike is 143MPH and it falls flat....
@@MiamiJato wow! 143 on GSA? What kind of tuning you got on that bad boy? Most I’ve gotten mine is 134mph and I was pushing. On the Pikes peak… 150mph+ with room to go. 😮 (disclosure- all done on closed circuit private track 😆)
@@davidmatias6239 great questions. So far, zero issues and the likes peak has the higher service interval vs the RS(it’s why I went with this one). That said, definitely not cheap 😆
The Ducati Pikes peaked is a great bike. For the money, though, the KTM SAS is incredible. I have one with a 17" front wheel and a Rottweiler Stage 5 , with an arrow racing heeade4. Last year, going to Sturgis (1,800 miles each way) at speeds of 75 to 80 mph , it averaged 48 mpg. My buddy, who has a 4S, gets roughly 38-39 mpg. Th torque of the KTM is off the charts 106 ft pounds . I'm my configuration, I am just over 170 hp. I'll take the torgue all day for street. 😅😅In the end, I do like the anesthetics a lot better on the Ducati. But the price tag and maintenance cost of a Ducati, just don't for me don't make sense. It is an absolutely beautiful bike. If money was of no concern, I think maybe the Ducati would win. At the same time, the KTM has similar electronics, and the power with torgue is brutal. I must admit, though I am partial to orange.
@flyandride15 great video review. First time I've watched your videos. Pls continue to review and provide your feedback. I am on a similar situation as most of the comments. I am planning on purhcasing a 2nd bike. I am between a GS or VS4 or the PP. I do not plan on taking either bike offroad. It will be purely used as a street, longer distance ride motorcycle. Would you still recommend the GS over the PP? I will test ride both bikes and decide for myself, but I am curious to hear from someone who has both and appears to give good reviews/feedback.
@@albertogarcia5931 thank you and welcome. OK, my answer will depend on what is most important to you. If speed and power is more important to you than unequivocally go with the pikes Peak. If super comfortable and plush suspension is more important for you, than hands-down, the GS is the way to go. That help?
All that beautifulness and it looked like you were wearing yoga style pants. Nope, not jeans. Not armored pants. I tell ya. I thinks I saw some stretchy pajama kinda pants. Nonetheless. That bike is sublime.
The ride is not worth $30K, I get it. The price for that bike though might be what it's actually worth. There's a ton more stuff on board with the rider than most of us really want or need, until we're seated on a 180HP rocket with two wheels?
I almost quit riding….until I bought a Multistrada…it brought the joy of riding back BIG TIME! There is just something about it…
