- Donna Betts, the wife of guitarist Dickey Betts from the Allman Brothers, faces 18 counts of aggravated assault for pointing a rifle at rowers behind her home on Monday.
Dickey and Donna should have just moved way out in the middle of nowhere, with no neighbors.
I wish Dickey Betts was in the yard next door to me playing electric guitar.

Wow , look at all those pedestrians and activities in downtown Sarasota fla ! 2:00 and 0:24 . Seriously though , what killed downtown street life in almost all american cities was first the malls then the big box and franchise stores development up on the thruway exits . I'm old school and in my medium sized city downtown had everything locally owned lots of specialty stores, 4 story or higher department stores with bargain basements and cafeterias , hardware , restaurants , buskers, bars , etc etc . You could just lay out in the park or sidewalks play frizbee , special tables for chess and no cops would bother you . Horizontal development has ruined America . You got to drive ten or 15 miles one way for a doctor and 15 or more miles another direction for even basic groceries . I long to bring back the days of self sufficient neighborhoods and busy downtowns . I'm now living near the city limits and we still had a great grocery store until 5 years ago, deli , great home made ice cream in the summer(no air in it). the fucking gentry around here stop supporting it . I would walk a couple blocks to get my food . And now the building is just across my back yard . You know what it is now ? a mother fucking martial arts business location which is only in use a third the hours the corner grocery store was...sucks

Well...technically...at 6pm in that exact spot, there is no reason for ppl to be walking about cuz thats locations buildings are banks in back, and on right of screen....all government buildings and closed at 6. If camera panned to the west, we'd see main street bustling.

Alcohol and a long history of cocaine abuse have deteriorated Dickey's brain. Check out Dickey Betts and Great Southern- Blue Sky, uploaded by Chris Balton. He's not the same as I remember him. He used to love to fight, maybe it was a couple of head licks that tilted him. It's a shame he had to marry a woman just like him. I can only imagine what it's like in that household.
