    I certainly have Loved these 2 most of my life.. l can always tell when Richard Betts takes control of his red guitar or any other.. Big man Charlie was so special, a Christian & Countryman who delivered so much love to people,, like us hippie people. So happy to have been blessed to see Charlie before he passed on Birthday# 60+…he passed that following summer. Love them & witnessed them many many times in our prime time❣️🎶💕🎶💕🎶♥️

Yeah… I had years of interviews which we used up as the “Vault Series” during Covid 19 since we couldn’t do any new interviews but now I only do new interviews when we have the opportunity to interview the kind of people you guys really love to learn about which isn’t that easy to set up. Maybe we’ll get some new interviews again soon but until we’ll keep pulling induction concert clips. Best, Joe

      Go and watch the video of Southbound with Dan in the lineup. I think it was fun the U of Miami outdoors. 1989,I think. The band was super tight. That might be the best version of this I've ever heard. The video is awesome. Lots of great closeups.

      Correction, Jan 1982. I just watched it again for the umpteenth time. Dickey and Dan are on point 100%. No sloppy playing anywhere. They weren't ever sloppy, I guess, but at times they were lethargic, just mailing it in. Drugs. But not in this video. It'll blow you away.

    alcoholism ruined Dickies playing, your ability to keep time and move your fingers are affected, same thing happened to Johnny Winters, if you are a serious player dont drink to excess

    • @jwisetube
      @jwisetube Год назад +3

      Yes I had noticed that in some of his last performances. But also he always liked to play with timing giving that jazz angle to it and that really exacerbated with his declind playing made it sound way off later on. But boy could that guy play for most of his life some of the greatest guitar I've ever heard.
