Yep! You always gotta make sure the customer is happy. You can actually still merchant fulfill during the hotter months and if you get the disposable ice packs ($1-$2) it can be done without having melted product. Not just chocolate either, all forms of soft candy like taffy and gummies

could be just for that store thats on sale , somestimes stores like walmart for example have a certain items on clearance but another walmart couples miles away have the same item at regular price
$15 is not over priced for 1+ lbs of chocolate. Also I wouldn't say people online have "lost their minds" they're just ok w paying that price because it's worth at least that much to them. This is how free market economy works

You can't, but you can keep track of stuff so when it happens, you can prove you sent it and insure you get some type of reimbursement (amazon controls the amount tho)

Yeah in Florida they might. December in northern California fortunately isn't that hot. You can mail meltable stuff with disposable/recyclable ice packs. They add like $1-$2 cost to you per item tho. Don't give up. You need to make sure you're also sending photos of the products (front and back) and make sure your invoice has the ship from address of the supplier as well as your address which matches your account and also add the item ASIN in the page w red
No, there is items you may be restricted from listing and to get ungated on those items you need to buy 10 units of that item and submit an invoice. However, for products you're allowed to sell already, or have been approved, you don't need to show anything. If a customer accuses you of selling counterfeit or used sold as new, you'll need those receipts to save your butt
I gave Safeway my number and they called me. They found 190 bags in the back. How do we find something like this that we can buy at every store all year round?

Yeah I noticed it, but the history of sales volume on the listing told me it was safe but good eye, someone likely did that to get around a brand gating for MR Beast brand. I felt even more ok about it because I'm approved to sell all the Mr beast chocolates
Envelopes were something I've had for a long time, my costs on those were no more $0.50 total per unit. Labels are free from UPS and since this is a thermal printer, it doesn't use ink. Electricity is not worth measuring (you can't be serious about the electricity).
Hopefully not many, this was Halloween leftover and my sales were complete 10 days before Xmas. I doubt there many units if any left across the US. Maybe some tho
For food it's always something to check. Sometimes you can't make the buy because it won't sell before it expires or you have to pick the units that have the later expiration date and leave some behind.

I can sell the correct brand so it's not a risk for me as it won't be seen as trying to get around a brand restriction. That's a good point but this listing was also clearly doing volume with many sellers on it. Some risk, but not much for those allowed to sell the brand
Is the shipping cost added to the consumer's total, by the Amazon software, at checkout? That way you don't have to deduct that added cost from your profit per shipment?
For this specific item, the weight based postage savings made it only $0.50/unit to ship to FBA and each order shipped from FBA to the customer for under $5 for a total of $5.50 or less in shipping fees. That same unit was costing me $8-$8.75 to ship direct to the customer

This was 2 hours driving and purchasing, and a total of maybe 6 hours shipping orders, so 8 hours for $3K and even if we round up to 10 hours, that's $300/hour

Yes, it was leftover from Halloween. I went to 20 different stores in a 50 mile radius and I only found those 241 units at the one store.

Do you have savings? Because FBA doesn’t pay out that quick and you’ve cut off your main source of cash flow before you’ve even started.

Envelopes were something I've had for a long time, my costs on those were no more $0.50 total per unit. Labels are free from UPS and since this is a thermal printer, it doesn't use ink. Electricity is not worth measuring (you can't be serious about the electricity).

For food it's always something to check. Sometimes you can't make the buy because it won't sell before it expires or you have to pick the units that have the later expiration date and leave some behind.

I can sell the correct brand so it's not a risk for me as it won't be seen as trying to get around a brand restriction. That's a good point but this listing was also clearly doing volume with many sellers on it. Some risk, but not much for those allowed to sell the brand

Is the shipping cost added to the consumer's total, by the Amazon software, at checkout? That way you don't have to deduct that added cost from your profit per shipment?
If you buy postage from amazon, it's a separate charge on their ledger, so you can easily see what was shipping for reports and taxes etc.
So FBA is more profitable & less hussle

Y is FBA more ppu than fbm??? FBM don’t have storage fees and all other fees that come with fba
For this specific item, the weight based postage savings made it only $0.50/unit to ship to FBA and each order shipped from FBA to the customer for under $5 for a total of $5.50 or less in shipping fees. That same unit was costing me $8-$8.75 to ship direct to the customer

Go to Marshalls/ross/tjmaxx and scan 100 items, you'll be able to list some and some will be profitable
Did you encounter any returns? I'm looking at reviews of other sellers on the listing and a customer rated someone with a 1-star review mentioning there were 48 bars instead of 50 lol

This was 2 hours driving and purchasing, and a total of maybe 6 hours shipping orders, so 8 hours for $3K and even if we round up to 10 hours, that's $300/hour
