  • Have you been wanting to sell on Amazon FBA but don’t know how to get started or don’t yet have the budget to launch a Private Label product? One great method to get started is through Retail Arbitrage. Check out this video for a step-by-step overview of how to get started!
    ➡️ GET JUNGLE SCOUT: junglescout.expert/0ui ⬅️
🚀 We’ve never done Amazon Retail Arbitrage before, but in this video we visited Walmart, Target, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Costco and found some profitable products to sell. Using the Seller Central mobile app we scanned over a hundred products and came away with a few that we’re reselling on Amazon for a significant profit.
    WHAT IS RETAIL ARBITRAGE?
Arbitrage is the practice of taking advantage of a price difference between two or more markets, or in other words, reselling.
In this case, retail arbitrage is the process of buying discounted products through retailers (including online retailers) to sell on Amazon.
An example of this would be finding a product at Walmart that sells for $5, purchasing that product, and then reselling it on Amazon for $20. Pretty cool, right?
Some sellers also buy products they find online, which is known as online arbitrage, and the process is the same: buy low, sell high (on Amazon).
You may be asking yourself, “is retail arbitrage legal?” Fortunately, it is. According to the first-sale doctrine, once you purchase a product legally, you then have the right to resell that product, as long as it is sold in an unchanged condition. So if you buy it and sell it as new, the product must be in new condition.

That’s hilarious! I tried retail arbitrage for the first time in May and found the exact same Foxbae hairdryer at Marshalls, but after listing it and not getting any sales on the listing after several weeks, I gave up on it. Just not enough demand for it.

How do you categorize your Amazon "store" if there isn't a specific thing you sell? Or there isn't a specific product you sell. Just seems like a variety of things you'd offer on Amazon.

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  7 месяцев назад +1

      Great question! @KWB466 🤔
Whether you have a product to sell or just want to get in the game but don’t yet know what to sell or categorize your products, there’s a business model that will work for you to sell on Amazon.
Do consider setting up your business model as this sets the precedence of how you will run
      Amazon business models :
Private Label: Creating your own product label/brand
Wholesale: Buying products in bulk directly from a brand or from distributors with extra stock in order to sell on Amazon
Reselling/Arbitrage: Buying discounted products through retailers or online to resell on Amazon
Dropshipping: Buying products directly from a manufacturer who fulfills the order and ships directly to the customer
Handmade: Creating/crafting your own products to sell on Amazon
While each of these methods for selling on Amazon can be successful, we’re going to focus on one that has proven to be a profitable, scalable method: private label.
Why sell private label products on Amazon?
      1. You own the brand
      2. Higher profit margins
      3. Customize your product
      4. Creative control over the Amazon listing
      5. No competing for the Buy Box
To know more about private label, please check our article: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-fba-private-label/

There are two other sellers with the same price with also prime. Their prime offers a day earlier and I am getting no buy box sales. One of the other sellers has many reviews, the other has only a couple and I just launched. With estimated sales over 1000 a month, I should expect to get at good portion of those sales daily correct? We are all listed at the same exact price. Please help clarify, I am confused.
For context, I send in this as a test and only have 7 sellable units. The other seller at 6 units and the biggest seller appear to have over 999 units. Any help would be great! Didn’t think inventory also dictated the buy box win percentage

If you want an estimate for shipping purposes then the rule of thumb is to provide your supplier/Freight Forwarder with the Dallas, Texas Amazon warehouse.
That address is: 33333 J J Lemmon Rd, Dallas, TX 75241

usually you are paying 15 to 20 % of what you would pay to UPS so you can do the math. Each time and depend on the item the Amazon FBA warehouse so the shipping will be more expansive or less
