New seller here for German marketplace. Online Arbitrage for 8 months to get to know the platform. Then moving on to PL. Really confused how to find sources in the Western EU market. Do you have recommendation for a tool for the EU (non UK) marketplace? Currently Amazon profit calculator gives extraordinarily high fulfillment fees. It is frustrating, when checking the products and I could not find a product with viable margin.
8:38 - you now have spent $14 per item just about, to sell for $28 with free shipping...so $14 profit minus fees maybe you make $8 per bag,not to mention the lowest price on Amazon when you went to list it was actually $18 with free shipping, and also the fact that Amazon itself sells the item so you will never get the top of the buy box. Been selling online since 1999...double your money is a good way to go bankrupt unless you are constantly reinvesting your profits and do no expect your profit to pay any bills. Its also a great way to accumulate debt as prices drop/rise so randomly in this business. I would never touch a product that is not 75-80% profit as a starting point, and that is for a hot selling item in high demand, because I know it won't be long before it's back down to 50% or less.
Could you please summarise in two or three lines what you basically did in order to have an estimate of the shipping costs? (I just got lost in the procedure)

1. When doing OA, you will need to use the UPC that is already on the packaging of the product 2. If these are all units for the same product, you only need 1 UPC code for all units

If you want to do OA, you need to sell the exact same product you purchased from the store. There is no way to apply your own UPC, or modify the product in any way. And if a product is already being sold on Amazon, you need to sell on that existing listing

I assume you are using a third-party prep service but still sending your products to Amazon for fulfillment? If so, that should still fall under FBA. You will only choose Fulfillment by Merchant if you ship the products directly to the buyer.

Yes, you can purchase products from Ali express for dropshipping on Amazon, but first, you would need to come into an agreement with a supplier ☺️ And if you want to sell via FBA, you will need to store the product in Amazon's warehouse

I reckon i have a fairly good grasp understanding the differences between private label, wholesale as well as retail and online arbitrage but what would you classify buying non branded products in bulk on the Alibaba platform from either a manufacturer or Trading Company, and then selling on Amazon FBA at a higher price? Hmmm 🤔 I would assume this would be the same as Private Label but without the security of others being able to hijack your listing at any time as there's no Brand to Trademark.

I'm a little confused with this. The price shone on Brickseek is not the actual buy price 😕 By the time I do all the click throughs to actually purchase the product the price is much different than posted on brickseek, a lot of time 3, 4 or even 5 times higher. Or the full retail price in the store is the price Brickseek is claiming to be 80% off. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

While the product is on a huge discount and the profit margin seems great, i thought we're supposed to avoid competing with Amazon for the buybox? Sure we'd make money if we undercut Amazon's price but how many consumers even check for other sellers?
Some people would rather not sell against Amazon. Greg, our founder however, is quite happy to compete against Amazon listings. In some ways they are better, since products listed by Amazon probably aren't going to be focused on as heavily as an FBA seller would. Also, where FBA sellers may try to undercut you or sabotage your listing with false reviews and the like (this isn't hugely common - so don't worry!), but this is never going to happen with Amazon.

You didn’t mentioned that you need approval from the brand owner before selling most products on Amazon also this strategy can result in your account being deactivated where you loose all your funds and stock. It’s happened to me twice
@@jimmydepanama8294 when you make a seller Amazon hold your funds for a certain amount of days and if your account is deactivated you don’t receive your funds untill you reinstate your account which I’ve been unable to do , also they kept my stock.

I'm sweating a lot with private label FBA methods but since this last OA video I'll give it a try with OA. One question: I will use FBA. All the items purchased online in those big stores must be shipped to a prep center and when ready they'll send the items to AMZ warehouses, right? None of the stores will pack the stuff according to AMZ rules so I may avoid prep center's costs?
This is tough, most store packaging is good enough - you just need to know where it's coming from and the dimensions of the items. That's why it's best to send to yourself or a prep center

Amazon can suspend you if they notify sellers of the breach and they fail to cure it in seven (7 days) after that notification. Amazon will waive any sort of head's up or give sellers time to fix things if they think a seller has: Exposed Amazon to liability with a third party.

Don't you have to get ungated from a lot of items first to resell it on Amazon? I hear you can get deactivated for selling products without the brands permission.
I have selected several discounted products at Walmart for my collection to watch, but after a day or two, one of the products Amazon also dropped the price. Is there any way we can try to avoid this situation when we are selecting products? Looking forward to your answer, have a nice day
You can expect a lot of price reductions esp right before the holidays so we suggest tracking the product for at least a week to see if it s worth going for it.

It's best to repack however you can send it directly and pay Amazon to label it for you!

Unfortunately, only authorized trucks can drive into Amazon fulfillment warehouses. You'll still have to ship them in!

When you create a shipping plan, Amazon will determine where your product will go based on the marketplace yo are selling 😊

I'm a little confused with this. The price shone on Brickseek is not the actual buy price 😕 By the time I do all the click throughs to actually purchase the product the price is much different than posted on brickseek, a lot of time 3, 4 or even 5 times higher. Or the full retail price in the store is the price Brickseek is claiming to be 80% off. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

It would be best to have invoices for all the products you list on Amazon, in case they ask about it!
While the product is on a huge discount and the profit margin seems great, i thought we're supposed to avoid competing with Amazon for the buybox? Sure we'd make money if we undercut Amazon's price but how many consumers even check for other sellers?
Some people would rather not sell against Amazon. Greg, our founder however, is quite happy to compete against Amazon listings.
In some ways they are better, since products listed by Amazon probably aren't going to be focused on as heavily as an FBA seller would. Also, where FBA sellers may try to undercut you or sabotage your listing with false reviews and the like (this isn't hugely common - so don't worry!), but this is never going to happen with Amazon.

You didn’t mentioned that you need approval from the brand owner before selling most products on Amazon also this strategy can result in your account being deactivated where you loose all your funds and stock. It’s happened to me twice

@@jimmydepanama8294 when you make a seller Amazon hold your funds for a certain amount of days and if your account is deactivated you don’t receive your funds untill you reinstate your account which I’ve been unable to do , also they kept my stock.

One question: I will use FBA. All the items purchased online in those big stores must be shipped to a prep center and when ready they'll send the items to AMZ warehouses, right? None of the stores will pack the stuff according to AMZ rules so I may avoid prep center's costs?
This is tough, most store packaging is good enough - you just need to know where it's coming from and the dimensions of the items. That's why it's best to send to yourself or a prep center

I don't believe so, though you could send this, and they'll get back to you with exactly what they can accept.
What about the Section 3 Invoices Suspension?
Amazon can suspend you if they notify sellers of the breach and they fail to cure it in seven (7 days) after that notification. Amazon will waive any sort of head's up or give sellers time to fix things if they think a seller has: Exposed Amazon to liability with a third party.
@@junglescout I mean to say that in online arbitrage, we don't have invoices because we purchase from online retailers. So at any time, if amazon demands invoices of 3 ASINs, what should we do?
Even if they are purchased online, you should be able to get an invoice when you purchase them..

That's the type of Sellers. FBA is fulfilled by Amazon, AMZ is for Amazon and FBM is fulfilled by merchant.

Definitely don't recommend dropshipping on Amazon. It's against TOS and will get you suspended if caught.

Don't you have to get ungated from a lot of items first to resell it on Amazon? I hear you can get deactivated for selling products without the brands permission.
It is important to get permission from the brand owner if you are selling wholesale.

I have selected several discounted products at Walmart for my collection to watch, but after a day or two, one of the products Amazon also dropped the price. Is there any way we can try to avoid this situation when we are selecting products?
