This is a cool video, I guess I’m just confused on why someone would pay $420-$500 for a heater that cost $200? Why couldn’t they just buy it directly from Home Depot like you did?What am I missing?

reminds me of 10 years ago when they started making cordless tools with lithium ion batteries and home depot had to liquidate all their previous models, and people that had those models but had to replace one defective item because their old battery fit everything else in their set would pay premium for the old model that home depot was liquidating 80-90% off of retail.

How is ripping off people and dry shelving communities a hero????? This guys a crook and a piece of shit to anyone he sells to as he forces products out of stores to sit in his garage to jack up the price and rip off the consumer!!!! These heaters were 130 Canadian this last winter so even less in the states!!!!!! Guy needs to get a job and let the stores sell the products where consumer will 9/10 times get a way better deal

I build the stuff at Lowes (heaters , grills, wheelbarrows) and they were selling the heaters for $99 in November.

This should make it very clear to everyone. Don't ever buy stuff from Amazon. I often sell on Amazon as well for about double what I pay retail. Amazon was supposed to be cheaper and its not, you are paying double for convenience.
Amazon is great. I'll happily pay a premium if it means I can not go to a store and waste gas and time shopping.

Hey Reezy, I was wondering how long does it take to sell on Amazon FBA if you're brand new, unestablished?
You should double check the rates you're paying for a rental truck when you're doing a long day of hauling. Penske will get you a truck for $50-100 + ~$0.18/mi vs uhaul at $50+ ~$0.50. Has saved me hundreds on those long haul days.
Thanks! This trip was pretty last minute if you noticed I started out going to enterprise and they didn’t have a truck so I actually had a U-Haul
Penske trucks are often newer/nicer than uhaul trucks also.

Just curious...at this level, why not try to establish some sort of wholesale deal for these heaters from a supplier? Not sure what a wholesaler or supplier MOQ would be but I think it would beat spending all day of driving around + travel costs.
with Hampton Bay, Home Depot is the supplier. It's one of their home brands.

Why wouldn’t your “Buyer” go to Home Depot and just buy it, or their web site and have delivered instead of buying from you?
A few reasons: Not everyone shops around, some just go to amazon. Also supply, if there’s no supply, you gotta get it where it is. And some people don’t mind paying for a convenience. The value of time is quite variable

Great score Reezy. Did you use your resale certificate to buy these heaters so you wouldn't have to pay sales tax? Also since you are shipping these in the boxes they come in don't the boxes need to be in new condition to sell in Amazon FBA as new?

So you buy these heaters in bulk so when people go to the store they can’t find it. Then you sit on them until the weather gets colder so you can resell them at a higher price. So basically you just ripping people off.

One thing I’ve learned from watching these vids is that people who are successful put in ALOT of work for comparatively meager rewards, and you have to be comfortable with a great deal of uncertainty. This doesn’t even begin to address things like you and your families healthcare. Amazing work ethic and creative thinking, but I’ll stick to my full-time corporate gig with health insurance, 401k and reliable paycheck.

I don’t believe this for a min these things sell for 130 at Home Depot here in Canada why is anyone buying it from you for 4xs the price when they havnt been sold out in 7years(yes I work there and never sold out not even close)guys like this should be fined for completing ruing communities by jacking up prices and forcing products off the shelf to sit in his garage. Because most people don't price compare (at all). Hell most people buy stuff at retail and don't even know what they paid, they just pull out their card. People who price compare and have the time to do it are already halfway to being a reseller and are demonstrating entrepreneurial skills. Also because resellers bought them all

How do you know what to buy and when? How did you know that heaters were going to sell? What about returns?
Hey I love your video thx , but what if products return by amazon customer? and as first month how much you think I need saved up money to start ? and what if my products stay in amazon Wearhouses for months ?
If the customers return amazon will check if that suitable for sale again if not then you can have them send back to you.
If you know what you are doing you should invest as much as possible in inventory. But you can start at any money level.

Little late I feel on the patio heaters wave 😭 these things were moving so well a few months ago for me. Got to the point where the Home Depot’s and Lowe’s started imposing limits in store lol. You finding your amazon orders are going more to locations near you in Cali? Too cold for the north east even with those to eat outside lol
