10 Great Hulu Horror Movies…… No One Will Save You | 2023 Cobweb | 2023 The Empty Man | 2020 Slotherhouse | 2023 Underwater | 2020 The Mill | 2023 The Cursed | 2021 Come True | 2020 Boogyman | 2023 Appendage | 2023
I completely agree with EVERYTHING you said about why u think water/ocean/space movies are top scary. For me it'd be MORE ocean, cuz I'll prob NEVER make it to space 😂😂😂😂. I even think Waterworld is a partial horror movie...... just because of the way the "fish" look and OMG no LAND IN SIGHT doesn't help biggest fear is drowning
I really like that Hulu does movies instead of making everything a “limited series” like Netflix tends to. Sometimes I just want 90 minutes of story and that’s all. Not everything has to be 8-10 hours long
@@musicmane4146 Agreed! 😄 I'm saying I don't like series, and it's nice that another streaming service is focusing on movies instead. To each his own music mane. If you love serial TV, by all means get it brother! 👍
What a great list! I have to say that "Come True" absolutely fascinated me. That was one of those movies that engaged me and had me completely at its mercy with what happened next. "No One Will Save You" was truly exciting and unique, and "Underwater" was a claustrophobic nightmare for me. "Cobweb" definitely got shorted, such a great and scary film. Man, I could go on, so many great ones on the list, but I'm going to get started on the movies I haven't seen! Thanks, Kainan! Following your advice, I haven't seen a bad movie in months, and I've seen a bunch of great ones I would have never known about! ❤
It's ending was kinda ass, but the rest of the movie was absolutely amazing. To me, a bad ending ruins the whole movie, not enough answers or shitty answers, or just general confusion because the movie doesn't exactly explain anything. Ruins the whole thing for me
Also thought, besides "The Burrowers" that "Dead Birds"and "Bad Moon"were great western horror movies. You kick butt Kainan, you're my favorite pirate, lol!!!❤Hope and pray that you, all you love and all you out there are blessed and happy!!!👽👾🦋🌺❤👍💗🧚♂️🌹🌻🏵⚘🌈🌼🥀
HULUWEEN I SAW MOST these movies having HULU for years now, Good taste🤘..BUT when Evil Lurks hit the SHUDDER & saw LOTSSS BUZZ about it included ur review , gonna check it out this week-end , this week-end is ALL about HORROR movies to watch ..f*** ya👍
This is a very good list. My thoughts on these: No One Will Save You: One of the best of the year. While it pays homage to many alien movies you've seen before-- Signs, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Fire in the Sky-- it's really unique in perspective and the lack of dialogue means a great physical performance from Kaitaln Deaver. Cobweb: Another best of the year. Twisted and creepy, with great atmosphere. The Empty Man: Will watch tonight with Kainan's heavy blessing. Slotherhouse: Kind of a parody of killer animal movies mixed with a sorority house comedy. It's dumb as a rock, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a great time with it. Underwater: Very claustrophobic and Lovecraftian. Really good production quality. The Mill: I've heard elsewhere this is only so-so, but I'll give it a try. The Cursed: One of your better recent werewolf movies. It's a great period piece, but I didn't much care for the bald werewolf design and the CGI that looks out of place. Come True: Another one going on the need to watch list. The Boogeyman: Don't expect it to be much like the Stephen King story, but it is better than I was expecting. Great characters and a fine meditation on grief. You just need to forgive it for the fact that the creature could have been defeated merely by turning on a light, which the characters know but don't do. Appendage: It starts out kind of goofy. but just keeps getting better as it goes along. It's ultimately satisfying and worth the watch.
Yep your spot on with how I felt about em, all worth watching but yeah the Mill is like a episode of Black mirror. It’s not a game changer but still quite disturbing at times
I never thought of it that way. When you said cobweb is similar to Coraline just in movie form. Absolutely agree 👌 Great list! A few i am looking forward to watching today.
No one will save you was just so good and original. Same for the Empty man. It maybe tries to do too much but I'd rather see a movie swing for the fences
No one will save you is very good. It has great atmosphere, almost a surreal feeling, with taught suspense and good pacing. Most alien movies you see glimpses of the alien, but in this movie there is a. lot of interaction with the creature, which is really well done. There is also a backstory which develops. Well worth a watch, I wasn't disappointed.
The Empty Man is another one of those movies that I hope will still be talked about years from now, it’s just that good. Unfortunately it had the bad luck of being dumped during the pandemic, and I thought the trailer was very misleading, making it out to be a Candyman or Freddy Krueger rip off, which led to the movie doing poorly. But this has to be one of the most unpredictable horror movies I’ve seen. You think you have it figured out but then it goes into a completely different direction down a few rabbit holes. And it stays in your head for days afterward.
I get almost all my horror movie selections on your channel alone . I didn't know this one thing in particular about you and that is your one of those crazy freaks that loves candy corn . 😵💫😖🤢🤮 Wax candy . I'm more of a soda and cookies and " BROWNIES" type of guy myself . 🤘😄
I have to agree on CobWeb and Empty Man getting the shaft, due to release dates. I'll have to check out Slotherhouse. That just looks like a fun time. I'm guessing it has a Gremlins 2 vibe. Come True looks VERY interesting in a psychological thriller way. That's right up my alley.
I watched Slotherhouse last weekend and I loved it. I knew exactly what I was getting into. I'm an 80's kid, born in 74 and I love campy, silly, ridiculous over the top movies, as long as that is what they are meant to be. This movie was great, but it was exactly what it was meant to be, fun and entertaining. You could tell just by the name and description that it wasn't meant to take itself seriously. It was very entertaining and it had me laughing the whole movie.
Exactly! People want every movie to be better then the last and that’s not possible. People just need to relax and enjoy more movies for what they are and not for what they are not
Really looking forward to Cobweb, been waiting for it to hit streaming. I love The Empty Man, has that Angel Heart kind of vibe where you just don't know what is going on with the protagonist, just know something very bad is lurking below the surface.
I watched Cobweb last night. I thought it was really good. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is another movie that I saw recently that is similar and really good.
"No One Will Save You" is my favorite horror so far this year, everything that has been heavily advertised seems to be disappointing(looking at you Demeter & Boogyman).I go out of my way NOT to watch trailers as it takes something away in my mind. I haven't seen The Empty Man but I might give it a go ,just seemed very "teen popcorn horror". Cobweb I haven't seen yet because I saw The Boogyman at the start of the month and this seems very similar and I'm giving it room to breathe.
I'm glad I found this channel! Solid recommendations with great teasers to spark my interest and best of all: zero spoilers! I've started avoiding the trailers because it feels like so many give away some excellent scares and twists. Thanks for awesome content!
Ohhhh the empty man is soooooo good love that is on this list....im so excited for Dragula season 5 on shudder the trailer for it just dropped such a underrated series
Brother, your recommendations has been spot on. I’m getting to a point that I’ll wait for your review before I’ll even watch a horror film. Time is your most precious commodity and I don’t want to spend it on some cash grab remake or a reimagining of a classic. Exorcist believers was disappointing to say the least.
GhostPirate, could you please explain what do you mean when you "this is a small movie", because I can't really see the pattern? Do you mean small like "short", or is it more like "small production", or "small spaces/few rooms/one house"?
I don't have hulu. I use to and didn't watch it often so stopped paying for it. But I've seen so many good movie previews on Hulu so I definitely want to get it again because there are at least a couple on this list I want to see
Like I always tell people the key is to just get one service each month then cancel and get another and watch all that each one has each month. These services only really turn over every few months
Lizzy (Cobweb) Caplan is a phenomenal actress, I loved how she played the younger version of Annie Wilkes in Stephen Kings Castle Rock season 2. Took her a lot of acting discipline to get this close to Misery's Kathy Bates...!
Wanted to add that I appreciate you dressing up for the season just to film for us...actually you might do it for other reasons but I'm glad you show it in your videos. I love Halloween!!!
It’s 💯 to give to the community! I know how I have fun seeing others dress up so I want to do the same. :) so thank you so much for that it makes it feel worth it!

You say so many movies are your "favorites" of the year...1. Its annoying 2. Alot of your suggestions have at least 3-4 out of 10 movies should not even be on the list. Ever. If i was a 11 yr old kid sure. But nobody here is so pick up the slack man.
Thank you so much for the love that you gave No One Will Save You. I did the same thing you did by going in totally blind to what it was about and was blown away by it. Kaitlyn Dever nailed her role and has since become one of my favorite actresses. I loved this movie so much I even ordered the soundtrack.
As always! This is a great list. I'm just about to watch "When Evil Lurks" (on Shudder) but I'm watching "No One Will Save You" next. Thank you as always for these awesome recommendations.

I'm a fan of Lil Rel Howery, so The Mill was something I was going to see, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It's not the best movie in the world, but it was absolutely entertaining. It more than hints at a sequel, which I hope we eventually get.
Thanks to your inspiration, I got my nails done this week for the first time. I have no idea why I haven't done this before, it makes me happy. Thanks man.
I liked the sound design in No One Will Save You. Kaitlyn Dever (?) consistently does well. The Cursed has a long scene early in the movie, a confrontation, that was mesmerizing.
Excellent list as always 👍. I totally agree with you regarding No-one Will Save You & The Empty Man. I really hope more ppl get to see them and push their popularity.
I’m not a horror movie kind of guy, and I’m not saying I’m special, but you really sold me on a lot of these Which is a huge compliment to you. Thanks so much for this! Trying Boogeyman and some ice cream.
Honestly I really liked the cursed an ur absolutely right the cinematography and atmosphere r phenomenal its just the CGI werewolf I don't like. N it's to bad cause that us the only major issue a lot of ppl have with it
A tedious movie with one of the worst twists I've seen in any movie. The opening was the only part worth watching, unfortunately. I'm hoping the other movies on the list are a better watch 🙏

This is the truth! Serial TV is too much commitment. I don't want to be strung along for 2 to 12 seasons of slow ass storytelling.
So that means we should all like it and it should be changed? No thanks people do like limited series and you can still have movies ….

Thank you so much!!!
I bought Underwater. I love that movie.
I definitely need to watch "Come True".
I’m not a horror movie kind of guy, and I’m not saying I’m special, but you really sold me on a lot of these
Which is a huge compliment to you. Thanks so much for this! Trying Boogeyman and some ice cream.
Nice! I really love to hear that. Thank you 🙏
Honestly I really liked the cursed an ur absolutely right the cinematography and atmosphere r phenomenal its just the CGI werewolf I don't like. N it's to bad cause that us the only major issue a lot of ppl have with it
Yeah if the CGI werewolf was practical it would be all time classic in my opinion
Ngl idk why you hyped the empty man up so well. I watched it and it really is not that good.
A tedious movie with one of the worst twists I've seen in any movie. The opening was the only part worth watching, unfortunately. I'm hoping the other movies on the list are a better watch 🙏
