Another great video Tehk. Loved that you mentioned Malignant. This was really a bat shit insane movie. The twist was fantastic and it was just a great watch from start to finish.
Evil Dead Rise and Barbarian are probably some of my favorite movies on Max. Evil Dead as a franchise is literally my favorite, I've got several different collector's editions, VHS, DVD and blurays of the series including the Necronomicon versions. Barbarian is just one of those movies where the trailers make you think it's one thing and then you watch it and it's just wild. Honestly knowing the twist for that movie or the spoilers would completely ruin it. I was definitely not expecting it when I caught the early showing.
Man I love Barbarian, they used to have it on Max but I haven’t seen it recently smh. But def an amazing movie. I saw Evil Dead Rise in theaters and that intro scene was crazy! I will admit, I’m not the biggest fan of it especially in comparison to 2013, but there are things I do like about it for sure!
@TerrorofTehk I appreciate Rise for trying to do something new, I'd be interested in seeing it expanded, but I definitely prefer the cabin setting. Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness will forever be my favorite for different reasons. Also, Barbarian was taken off of Max and put on an extension of Disney. Disney REALLY ruined that movie by not releasing it physically and taking it off of Max and Hulu. The collector in me dies when a good movie isn't released on Bluray. I could rant for hours about how it's dumb that people have petitions going about getting it released and there are bootleg bluray cases and special editions but no official release. Edit: They did something similar with Antlers, pushing back it's original release a few months or a year, releasing it for two weeks in theaters with no advertising, and releasing it on Bluray with a $35 initial price tag. It deserved better.
@@xlucky7x never knew that! That’s insane to me. we need it back on streaming apps bare minimum since there’s no physical. As far as Evil Dead, would Ash’s character be a major reason for you liking those two specifically? I say that because he eventually becomes star of the show kinda starting in Evil Dead 2
Great question. I would say those ones that have impacted me the most are The Ring, Sinister, It Follows and Smile. The Ring and Sinister were really scary first watch. It Follows and Smile are just very unsettling.
Your channel is irresistible!❤ new subbie! 1000. Let's goooo!
Appreciate you, genuinely! Welcome to the channel 😁
I need to start watching movies on HBO Max. I tend to gravitate toward Netflix too much. Thanks for the great recommendations!
Yep much better movies on Max!
I don’t have MAX…but, if I can’t get it free elsewhere, I can pay. I often do that w movies on pay to view on prime, etc.
@@DPaisleyDaisy-pr5wz I’m the exact same lol gotta utilize all resources
Anaconda is a guilty pleasure. Like Lake Placid.
Yes, it has a soft spot in my heart lol

Also finishing up the video. I agree the Exorcist is really terrifying. But what do you think is the scariest movie of all time?
