On a sidenote I was just about to check for Rebels footage to figure out how Peltas handled themselves in combat and this was a superior option. I do look forward to more of your work.
I love how you modeled the Star Destroyer after the original sketches. I haven’t seen that done before. It looks like one of those early 20th century battleships.
2:49 God, I love how the original Incursor concept looks more like an actual warship here. Not just the quality of your work but just how the design looks like real life navy warship. Not the biggest or most heavily armed warship but good for those small tasks where the larger ships are too much.
Your work represents, hands down, the most well-thought and faithful representation of what exists in the heads of many fans as the 'definitive look' of Star Wars space combat. You've managed to capture in computer graphics such an incredibly authentic look and feel of practical models and effects, from the texturing and lighting of the models to the incredibly satisfying explosion and smoke effects from destroyed fighters. It's a notoriously tricky thing to properly convey visually, and billion dollar companies have tried and failed to capture what you have here. I really hope the people in charge recognize that there is a vast pool of untapped talent right here on the internet for them to find.

Nice work. I would like to send out a big thanks to our boys in the Galactic Imperil Navy. You are the real heroes. Keep it up, and we are sure to win this one.
Star Wars reality check. These battles do not always end happily - someone loses. Combatants die. Terrible sacrifices are made. Brave valiant lives are extinguished in the heat of battle, their traumatised bodies lost in the cold vacuum of space. This is the sad reality of a true Star Wars battle. Well made. Kudos for the brown clouds of smoke accompanying each spacecraft’s destruction. That carried a message of its own - a reminder of the ever present dark side!
Seemed to me com traffic should've been more cluttered, almost panicked, multiple voices in the heat of battle. And the "space smoke" was distracting. So overall I'll rate it four stars!
That was amazing. I love how the good guys actually lost for once. Also the voice over was fantastic. I could really feel the hopelessness of the last female pilot requesting for help. My only complaint would be the smoke cloud animation of explosions, which is clearly depicted how gas expands in another gas, not in vacuum. In vacuum you wouldn't have another gas blocking the expansion causing swirls and deceleration in the expanding cloud. But knowing how hard it is to get good looking smoke done in 3D, this is still a fantastic job even if the physics don't fit.
Really like this, though the smoke seems too much like it's in an atmosphere.. the way it billows and expands.. not like it's in vacuum so much. Please keep making these.
The way the smoke reacts and blows around was my only small nitpick as well. It looks very realistic if it were in a sky but in space, or to be more consistent with other Star Wars it would be a bit different. Looks okay when it hits the big ships but when The Little Ships just disappear in a cloud of smoke that seems a little different. But what an excellent piece overall! So much better than a number of big budget movies I can mention!
Star Wars' space isn't a vacuum. Sure, you could go to a Legends source like the X-Wing novels- but I prefer The Empire Strikes Back. In this movie, Han and Leia step out of the Falcon wearing oxygen masks- not spacesuits. Evidently, they were confident that there would be enough pressure out on an "airless" asteroid to keep their lungs from exploding.
This is spectacular!! The texturing of the ships looks so incredibly accurate to the og trilogy kit-bashed models.. its amazing. This is the Star Wars I miss 👏
This is amazing, but i think the turbolasers hiting the shields should have a better effect with more of an impact. But still, this is freaking amazing.
This is Amazing! Simply wonderful work!! This is so much better than any of the Disney films. Even the CGI is better than they could do with how many millions of $$$ and so called “talent.” Keep this up! You have earned my loyalty!!
Perhaps because the light and explosions look painfully unrealistic and the combat itself was dull and dumb, without any regard to physics or measurable intellect. But then again, it's Star Wars, so no surprise there.
I think it might be an interesting tactic to sit in an escape craft in the launch bay of a wreckage of your starship and wait for the imperials to leave.
I have enough Flight Hours in X-Wing, TIE Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance to know this. All that A-Wing needed to do was drop shields down to 25% and increase speed by 50%. TIE Fighters cannot keep up with an A-Wing with all power to speed. A TIE Interceptor could though...
That's a great one. At first it looked like the rebels were gonna pull off that Mary Sue plot armour crap again, but then the imperials turned it around and annihilated them. And it ends with the star destroyer standing tall, looking like a proud symbol of power and authority.
Amazing! Few changes though. First the voice acting although good, seems robotic and like they aren't in the moment. The explosions never leave any remains of the ship (and it could be fun to make destroyed versions of your ships. Also maybe have the ships shoot more blasts? They only shoot once or twice. But it was very good, amazing job!

Well to be fair, in “Dark Disciple” they quickly mention how “the oxygen from inside the ship feeds the fire in space....”
I would happily pay a subscription to watch this! This is the sort of animated Star Wars I could watch!
That Star Destroyer is amazing - it looks like it was inspired by WW2 destroyers with their sensors and radars
Well it is modeled after the original concept art/model
Bro that Star destroyer looks so cool I love these little videos you do man keep them up!
Ah, a refreshing example of true imperial might. Excellent work.
You are strong, and wise, and I am very proud of you! Thank you for the film, it is magnificent! ❤️ ❤️
Finally, the Empire that wins even if it's a small victory
And the animation is really good 👍👏
This is spectacular!!
Like the first scene. With white flashes would've been nice.
Excellent job Ryan! Loved it, you and your team should be proud. The VFX work is amazing!
yes..indeed.
This is Amazing! Simply wonderful work!! This is so much better than any of the Disney films. Even the CGI is better than they could do with how many millions of $$$ and so called “talent.”
Keep this up! You have earned my loyalty!!
That last A-Wing being taken down was felt. Man these shorts have some serious feeling behind them. Awesome.
When the Empire wins, it feels brutal, but when the alliance does, it feels heroic
@@michaelpatent8690 But the Empire didn't do anything wrong...
Meanwhile in the Empire:
Empire: Should we enslave the Woolies?
Palpatine: Sure
@@dylanbiggs3997 Empire: "This planet may have rebel sympathies."
Tarkin: "Lmao blow it up!"
@@michaelpatent8690 Go build yourself a time machine and change George Lucas's mindset of the Galactic Empire.
So great to see the glorious Empire kick ass! Awesome work, you’re very talented.
Great work as always!
I never would’ve thought to see a rebel Pelta-class
Here’s a subscribe buddy this is very nice quality content. hope for the best in the future.
Well done Ryan!! Disney almost made me give up on SW, but with fans like i never will thank you brother
HOW THE HELL COULD YOU DISLIKE THIS.
IT IS A WORK OF ART.
Rebels maybe 🤷🏻♂️
@@Sir_Lucas lol
Perhaps because the light and explosions look painfully unrealistic and the combat itself was dull and dumb, without any regard to physics or measurable intellect. But then again, it's Star Wars, so no surprise there.
@@rebelcrusader9973 It's space of course physics wouldn't apply
@@alem1655 Unless you don't know what physics are, that could actually make sense, to you.
Amazing character development. The resolution between the two main character's interpersonal conflict really hit home for me.
I think it might be an interesting tactic to sit in an escape craft in the launch bay of a wreckage of your starship and wait for the imperials to leave.
well... that was dark LOL. Great job! We need more of this star wars. Real consequence to a power house like the empire chasing you.
Glad to know someone out there has a hi res render of the Republic Corvette, that ship doesn’t get enough love
That's a great one. At first it looked like the rebels were gonna pull off that Mary Sue plot armour crap again, but then the imperials turned it around and annihilated them. And it ends with the star destroyer standing tall, looking like a proud symbol of power and authority.
The Imperials win? That's a nice change of pace
How? So amazing. These looks like some real motion control going on. Sound design is a 10/10!
Thank you!
“Watch you with great enthusiasm we will” best of luck. Your mediclorian count is probably through the roof.
Nice! Will you be doing longer videos in the future? Like story-telling?
The plan is to do some lore-type videos in the near future that will explore more of the setting and help provide some more context for the scenes.
SkyForge cool. Definitely gonna subscribe.
@@SkyForgeFilms Keep up the good work man. Love the vids, and i love the premise of the lore. I look forward to your work.
Absolutely amazing!
This was amazing! Keep up the good work! I love the use of the Star Destroyer concept art!
