Yes finally 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Cool bro
Hey, could you maybe try doing a video on the Aleph-class starfighter? It's a bit obscure but you're not new to that. Love the content, keep up the amazing work 👏.
Ones more i say it again pls do the story of the sith species and home and empire or the story of Darth revan
nice photoshop on that recusant xD
Honestly the Separatist ships would have been perfect for the Rebel fleet, especially the Recusant, Munificent and Providence. I feel like the Rebels missed the opportunity to stage hundreds even thousands of Seperatist ships from scrap yards.
Possibly have to do to them not thinking of using them, or other reasons. Also the video says that many were destroyed, but the rebels did have one
They did have them but in limited numbers
The Recusant and Providence probably because they were not as common and any in scrap yards may have been too badly damaged
Munificents though were not as uncommon as they were used by private hands such as pirates
But at the end of the day man power and also being able to acquire one would be why they weren't as common as other ships
Also worth noting the Empire labeling the rebellion as separatist holdouts was an effective propaganda tool. From a purely military perspective it made no sense for Palpatine to order the CIS military shutdown. You'd likely see way more under the Empire at least early on if public perception wasn't a thing either side was concerned with. Real reason is probably as simple as the rebels were created first but, still an interesting and believable in lore reason.
Also, hardcells, which are basically just cargo ships that you can retrofit into anything, and they have amazing sensor suites
They need to refitted for organic crews, they were obsolete and most were already being used by the CSA Picket Fleet.
I love how both the Republic and CIS Navys had very different doctrines, but they both had excellent designs that worked for those doctrines.
The Recusant is soo underrated
The CIS fleet is :(
Ye
@@niculescualex3515 the whole CIS is underated
The HMP was a straight beast... That gunship was ALWAYS my favorite on the original star wars battlefront 2 space battles! It was soooo much more OP in the real Canon tho but still, ship alone could have won CIS the war if it wasn't rigged by the Sith.
Yeah it was one of the first ships I fell in love with.
I always love hearing more about separatist ships, they are my favorite faction and designs are soo unique and cool!
Same.
You should try the tabletop game star qars armada. The CIS faction ships are amazing models and the game is great!
That is one of my favorite Star wars ships in all Star wars thank you for doing this man made the force be with you
"Light Destroyer" bigger then a venator. But what does it matter when 80% of all ships are cruisers anyway, the terms are made up and the points don't matter.
Well it’s not actually bigger than the venator. It’s only barely longer and 1/3rd the width, which makes it much smaller than a venator
No, the Dreadnaught version is bigger than a Venator, but the Light Crusier Variant is much smaller, only like 1 kilometer long while the venator was 1 kilometer and 600 meters. The Dreadnaught version of the Recusent was huge at 2,200 meters or 2 kilometers and 200 meters.
i think that was a recusant dreadnought
I have two theories as to the classification.
1:weight-classes are based not on their length but volume and mass, where the Venator is a battle carrier with both the necessary crew for direct combat and strike-craft, the Recusant is slimmer and has numerous open spaces for spaced armor and vultures, alongside its minuscule crew requirements.
2: much like in real life, it’s not weight or design that denotes classifies a ship, but politics.
Well we also got Star Destroyers which were clearly battleships. Star Wars is quite confusing when it comes to naming their ship classes.
I love the recusant so efficient and practical
Ah grand admiral thrawn welcome
I agree with you, this is one of my favorite warship.
*My Star Wars OC had a heavily modified Dreadnaught-variant of this as their flagship and spy-command; the Empire suffered when it appeared out of hyperspace 😂*

@@rashiqspencer6925 there isn’t one, it was a roleplay me and my friends did 😅
It's a quality ship! It and other CIS vessels make up the naval fleet of a CIS holdout in a story I'm involved with as well
Oh man i love so much this Channel, many inner questions of myself were solved due to the huge amount of details you guys put on the videos. Keep the good work, greetings from Brazil 👍🇧🇷
I personally believe that it could be both: a merchant vessel designed to ward off pirates & such…
However, based on the engine layout, I initially thought it was a Techno Union ship, just like the rocket ship looking ships that were on Geonosis.
All-in-all, when I saw the various ships in “Revenge of the Sith”, I felt there was a connection with the various Separatist ships & Gallofree as well as Mon Calamari…
I think it was originally a Commerce Ship designed at the Mon Calamari Ship Yards and expanded upon at some point to be able to go toe to toe with heavier ships when it joined the CIS
It is a Techno Union ship. Most of the Confederacy-aligned manufacturers and even a few Republic ones were owned by the Techno Union. Despite the name, it is more of an example of the collaborative nature of the Separatists. It is a Quarren stolen design built using Commerce Guild material under Techno Union foremen by both the Quarrens who stole the design and another shipwright owned by the Trade Federation through a Nimbanese clan.
@@omega13whitelucario95 It was actually using Mon Cal blueprints the Quarren Isolationist League stole after they had their butts handed to them on a silver platter during the First Battle of Mon Calamari. The Commerce Guild supplied the material the Techno Union supplied the labor and the Trade Federation supplied one of the manufacturers.
I love the CIS ships & fleet. They instantly standout and have great designs
This is one of my favorite star wars ships. It's the perfect small ship of the line. It's cost effective, requires few crew (resulting in lower maintenance costs and allowing additional mass to be dedicated to armor and weapons rather than crew accommodations), fast, well armed for its size, has an array of defensive weapons, can carry some starfighters without giving up any mass to dedicated hangers thanks to clever use of negative space, makes use of layers of spaced armor for protection, and unlike many star wars ships, actually seems to have a relatively intelligent weapons layout where most turrets have a good field of fire.
Such an underappreciated vessel at least I love you recusant
I always like the look of this ship. It was a light destroyer so it had a lot of purpose in almost any formation. Though I write some fan fiction on Star Wars in my spare time, and i have been thinking about an idea turning this into a ship that a heavy hitter of a small fleet. Love the design, and I have the complete cross section book so I got all that information on it. Like Torn Lamb said, an underrated ship by far.
This is one of my favorite ships, thanks for covering it.
I used to work on a cargo ship, one of the big ones. We used to ferry around and rent out dewbacks which engineers used to field test their cargo hold tolerances and stowing protocols.
God you fucking killed it this video bro. I love this ship's design and to see you pick it apart like it's nothing is awesome!
I’ve missed these kind of videos. The life of, species, and planet videos are neat but I enjoy the ship and vehicle breakdowns.
Would be great to see more CIS battles from the various holdouts after the Clone Wars officially ended.
I love these ship lore videos so much, it makes Star Wars feel we real and fun!
The reason there isn’t any armored plates over the section near the engines is because there is a large amount of point defense cannons there to defend it so it would just block a lot of the ships fire power
Thank you so much for including sources, so many youtubers neglect them, so its good to see some change!
This is a fascinating look at a very underrated ship thank you Would recommend to a friend and probably will
Probably my favourite naval ship in Star Wars
Order Shipsty Ships was a dark day, like a million processors started up and were ended unexpectedly.
I can't get enough of these types of videos.
4.4K views and no dislikes, truly a Jedi’s balance in the force
Love seeing Empire at War footage for reference!
-WAS UP METANERD- Great video as always & of course we always want tooo see more more more
this ship is one of the coolest looking ones in the Star Wars Universe
These would be far more dangerous if Cortana had it
Anyone else think this ship is very underused and underrated?
Yay more vehicle breakdowns! Hype!
Impressive. I would love to see the Dac shipyards. 🤔
Wow as of now 0 people disliked this video
That’s a first for me hope it stays that way. Love your videos
Hell yeah!!!!! More vehicle breakdowns!!!!
I am amazed you hadn't covered this yet love your vids btw
I like the attic of the CIS ships and this is no exception.
Can you please make a history of the star destroyer pleez? I love your vids as I am a star wars nerd too. Keep up the good work!
The recusant one of my favorite ship in the cis
I am a simple man I see ship breakdowns, I click
One of the best looking ships in SW
I love the Separatist Navy, the best Navy in Star Wars for sure
Yeah the CIS navy is cool, but my favourite is the Imperial navy
Of all the Separatist vessels, this cruiser is my favorite when it comes to looks.
Awesome content man👍🏻 always look forward to see your videos
Can't wait for the Recusant to come out for Star Wars Armada! It arrives sometime around march. So excited!
My favorite CIS ship!
Love these vids!
9:36 I think you might mean 6 times the largest cruise ship but still a great video
Enjoyed, thanks!
So I just found out this ship exists like 2 days ago (despite seeing the episodes it’s in several times it just never stuck) and it was through the fricken Lego Star Wars 3 game! I noticed it’s really weird design and was like “huh must be a special ship for Grevus” and I only just now realized, nope it’s a standard ship I guess?
This ship is easily the most non-uniform of the better known CIS ships. It's general architecture and design look like they're from another faction for the most part.
I love the CIS
Please do a video on the royal guard tie interceptor
Idk if this is too much
But I want to request you to make a remastered version of Gozanti cruiser breakdown, since in canon it changed the atmospheric speed of 450 km/per hour that you said in the old one to incredibly fast 1025 km/per hour which is faster than X-wing standard top speed. Plus I want to learn about the many many variants of the ship too ._.
Great Vid! Can you do a deep dive of the Storm Commandos like your breakdown of the death troopers"?
yeah that would be cool
How can a channel be so nice. Still know very much but always great to watch! Ur Channel is like a awesome database of SW Lore and Infos :D
Love the vids bro
There it is
Did you ever do a video on the Maka-Eekai L4000 transport? One named the “Uhumele” was featured in the Dark Horse series Star Wars: Dark Times series. Mid-2000s Dark Horse Star Wars comics were the best, I think
Last time I was this early this ship didn’t have a weak spot between the engines and body
Oh wait
Laughs in republic spy
There is a reason for the structural weakness near the aft end: it is used for the landing ships to dock.
I'm baffled by any kind of War Ship....
I just love that Imaginarium. It's my strong hold to refuge from our dull human little life...
What a boss cruiser! Somewhere there's got to be a huge separatist graveyard floating in space
Ah my favorite destroyer in all of star wars👌
Powerful and practical.
the CIS will always have my favorite Starship designs...Just look at the Subjugator class!!
FANTASTIC. Love your videos man! Keep up the great work. Could we see the Razorcrest next maybe?
Another great video!
I think the reason it said 4 to take on a Venetor was because of shield strength and firing range. The heavy turbolasers on the Venetor have a ridiculous range, far greater than any separatist turbolaser and are stated to be able to punch right through Sep shields at closer range.
But I might be miss-remembering. It's been a long time since I read the corss-sections book where I think this was mentioned
not sure about canon but...
in legends 4 munificents 'easily outgunned' 1 venator, despite the venator heavy 4 times the number of heavy turbolasers, ofcaurse the munificent has 72 light turbolasers too (meaning that 1 CIS heavy turbolaser and 36 light turbolasers is more powerful than 4 republic heavy turbolasers and 0.5 medium turbolasers). (source Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections)
aditionally the separatist Agrocite cannon was the heaviest turbolaser ever created, although that doesn't count as it wasn't standard issue, due to needing a rare material called agrocite, presumably instead of tibina gas. a single shot from this weapon can destroy a fully shielded venator.
Anyone remember the actually cannon batteries that the providence and venetor had in revenge of the sith. Are those not canon anymore? How come they aren’t mentioned. There has to be hundreds of individual cannons like those on a venetor?
Yeah. From what I can see no sources seem to mention those Broadside Artillery Cannons despite them appearing in ROTS.
@@richardched6085 fucking weird right... like we can see them lol they should factor in. Star Wars ships are so under armed except first Oder ships those are ridiculously over armed
I think those are the proton torpedo bays shown in the Complete Cross-section books.
@@corruptangel6793 no, they fire lasers.
@@Littlemilkjug533 my mistake then
Coolest ship design for cis
Upvoted for the star wars armada reference!
You should do a video about the munificent class
I read the title initially as"Resurgent". Thinking TFA ISD, I clicked on it. But this is fine!
Can you do a video about paelleon class star destroyer?
I like these brealdown videos. Keep up the good work
Good video.
Really Epic video bud
It could have actually been that the original ship was designed at the Mon Calamari Ship yards and an upgraded version was planned as well but those were taken to be used to modify and produce the ships we see now
That way the lore works for both
It was always stated the Recusant was based on stolen plans.
@@emberfist8347 yes but as he said, some info says it was also a ship originally used by one of the groups who made the CIS
So what I'm saying is how both could work
you should do one on man cal or the man calimari
Holy sh*t, AI of the ship made by Bethesda :O
Minus the massive fuel consumption, this ship seems to be designed to be a pirate vessel.
While I do like the Recusant, the Providence class will always be my favourite
I’ve missed ship brake downs
All the fun of the B1 with its focus on swarm tactics, cheap manufacture, and unreliable AI, but in the form of a spaceship.
Will you ever play Armada?
CIS/Rebellion forever!
I would really love if you would consider creating some programs for Startibe Rising , the world of David Brin The Uplift universe would alot of great material . Anyway thanks for your shows great stuff 👍
FINALLY
The CIS has the coolest ships
TRUE
New Republic: Hold my beer and watch this.
what about a video on the munificent class star frigate
Yeah, make this public
Lol sneak peak i guess I forgot if you put it in the playlist this happens. Going up soon
Hello metanerdz your the best. The leader of the Star Wars nerds
Make a video about the munificent
Cool video
I've been reading the expanse books lately, and the 2000 - 3000 g figures makes my head spin. That's some serious juice.
Is "inertial dampers" canon in Star Wars?
They are called inertial compensators and yes they are canon. Jek Porkins that fat guy from A New Hope who gets blown died partially because he tends to the inertial compensators for his X-Wing at max strength due to hailing from a high gravity world so he didn't realize he needed to pull up.
@@emberfist8347 nice, thanks for the answer and the fun fact
Ah yes a racusant a glorious cis vessel after all I do have a soft spot for my first capital ship
Whats the name of the Empire at war mod you used in the video? :)(
Isnt that from Sins of a Solar Empire game, @1:18 ?
Yes
Also use a Carrier
