You should do a video on all of the new republic ships and their timeline to give a better understanding of when these things were introduce. Of all the story lores Star Wars is the most convoluted for me, just when I think I got it something changes.
People allways compare it to Nebulon-B and Keldabe and while it does look like them I think it resembles Valor class from SWTOR, what with it's engines on a spire bellow the ship. Still, a great design. Hope it's fetured in 9.
Damn, you’re almost at 100k subs! I think you guys only had 10-15k when I first subscribed. Time flies! Very excited for that soon to be reached milestone. :)
I don't get it. The star hawk has more guns, more powerful guns, stronger shields, more engines and a highly advanced tractor beam system when compared to the Imperial Star Destroyer. It also has absolutely no visible sign of the enormous reactor that is required to run the ISD. Where is all this energy coming from?
I think it one of those things in the new canon that don't realy make sense because they are just made to be super op because the creator think it cool.
Yeah that's what I was wondering too. It could be in that rear section, or perhaps multiple smaller dedicated reactors for the different parts of the ship like engines and weapons.
@@MetaNerdzLore The other option would be a new way more space efficient reactor design, but give that the ships are being created by bolting bits of old star destroyer together, its hard to imagine they have the time or resources for such a project.
7:08 If you think of the death star's superweapon that is basically a massive laser formed by several other smaller laser beams, you could think that those are just like the Death Star's superweapon.
Other tractor beam uses. Thrawn disabled the cannons on one side of a republic ship and used tractor beams to hold it next to the side of his ship where the shields were failing to create a block so other republic ships couldn't hit that side without shooting an ally.
Not quite. If you used Thrawns tactic, it wasn't so much the affiliation as the mass of the vessel. You'd literally have to frag the other ship to tiny bits to get to your actual target - which would give time for maneuver or rerouting circuits for the shields/weapons on that side. Interesting tactic though. The British Navy used something kind of similar for a tanker going to Malta - two destroyers were lashed to her - using their buoyancy to keep her floating until her cargo could be offloaded.
And now this ship it's gonna be in Star Wars Squadron. ... Well, hopefully. It appeared in a battle hologram. It would be great to see it in action and with the real scales, it looked to be a little more bigger that the standard ISD in the hologram. ^^ Yeah, I came to this vid JUST for that little frame in the trailer.
This is my new favorite ship in canon. In episode 9 I want to see a starhawk take a resurgent star destroyer in its tractor beams and yeet it into another star destroyer.
The side bay doors and front bay could be a huge through deck, launching squadrons at a time from either side and recovering from the front under protection of main guns. the second bay could be vertical in the beard, loading from the rear for shuttles and other landing craft. ISDs and Venators had enormous single internal bays so not too far off, especially if made from ISD bitz
Looking closer I agree on the sides being gun decks. The 2 hanger bays could still be almost through decks with the front for recovery with the tractor beams and the rear under pod for launch BSG viper style. The rings on the beard could be umbilical ports for larger vessels to dock to externally

At least, I think kyber crystals are classified in such a way. I wouldn’t be surprised
I hope we get to see it on the big screen. The ship is awesome like you said. though there is probably much more we don't know about the ship, but from what we know so far, it is a powerhouse. Thanks for covering the ship.
You know, i like the idea of weakening the "neck" of an ISD and then just using the Tractor Beams to just rip of the bridge. .
That’ll show them to put there most important part in one of the most vulnerable places
Don't forget that the domes are sensor domes with shield projectors around them. This would give the ship mutiple or redundant sensors.
I hope that we get to this ship in Episode IX.
@Mario Perez I hope that someday people will stop crying about the last jedi (I didn't like the movie to but GOD DAMN man its a movie chill. You are litterly spending everyday of your life on talking trash about a movie).
You should do a video on all of the new republic ships and their timeline to give a better understanding of when these things were introduce. Of all the story lores Star Wars is the most convoluted for me, just when I think I got it something changes.
Yeah that's a really good idea I just wrote it down
People allways compare it to Nebulon-B and Keldabe and while it does look like them I think it resembles Valor class from SWTOR, what with it's engines on a spire bellow the ship. Still, a great design. Hope it's fetured in 9.
Yamato was the heaviest battleship ever built, but it was not the longest. That honor belongs to USS Wisconsin.
is this the first canon picture of a Starhawk? It is!
Yezzir
I receive one of those new star destroyers a few days ago, it impress me beyond any of my expectations, Im glad to have it in my fleet
I love this ship and I hope it appears I Episode 9.
Lesson of star wars has taught me that demilitarization leads to destruction
Would it be cool if they made a new star wars empire at war after the rise of skywalker
Oh I know. Imagine they just drop that out of nowhere the community would be so energized
They could make a sandbox game like men of war assault squad 2. Shalt star wars has not made a sandbox game. That's weird
Shalt is in there for some reason. Stupid auto correct
Damn, you’re almost at 100k subs! I think you guys only had 10-15k when I first subscribed. Time flies! Very excited for that soon to be reached milestone. :)
Thanks man that is awesome to read. It is a crazy ride, we'll keep the vids coming and hopefully soon
Ok I hate most things new canon star wars, but that ship is dope
"Fezzik. You did something right."

I can’t wait to see the Starhawk in action in Star Wars Squadrons
It tossed around a Star Destroyer like nothing with it's tractor beams array.
*Rebel resourcefulness at its finest!*
I wonder if the Starhawk has escape pods just in case if something goes south with this ship?
Yeah sorry 2 of them
I like the fact that it looks like a beefed up Nebulon B.
The entire trilogy can be saved if there is a super star destroyer in episode 9.
ADR that actually gets to be shown fighting
Lol that'd be something
Ok but if used by the ressistance
ADR do hundreds of ISDs with Death Star tech count
@@N120Xeno nope
Any ship that utilizes Mon Calamari Designs is an immediate favorite for me
I think we'll see it in episode IX and it will play a fairly important role with the Star Wars Armada released to coincide.
7:08 If you think of the death star's superweapon that is basically a massive laser formed by several other smaller laser beams, you could think that those are just like the Death Star's superweapon.
I like how it says 100% said it was awesome on the pole currently or I guess more accurately at the time of commenting this comment
The Starhawk-class is my new all time favourite Star Wars ship class.
One of the coolest things the new canon has delivered and we never saw it on screen.
Very nice.
I normally dont like ships that have a tall body in starwars but this is really really well made.
Star Hawk be like:" hello little ship! It would be a shame if some we're to....(activates tractor beam) FUS RO DAH your tiny ass Out of Orbit!!"
HAHAHAHA!!! ...that fus ro dah part got me crying... :D
@@sleepingbackbone7581 glad i made you laugh :}
@@NexusDex oh, you sure did mate :D
This is a gorgeous ship. Looking great in a brutal, effective way and being just that!
Can we see this work of art in episode 9 please. Making a low or medium rendered model would be so easy to make
Your content if so intriguing. It’s all so fascinating!
I like the Ship
1
The Voidwolf/Outlander: "The Gravestone! Those jerks stole MY SHIP!"
I beg to differ, I think the length would be 2,200 meters
Rawxx yea I agree
And now this ship it's gonna be in Star Wars Squadron.
... Well, hopefully. It appeared in a battle hologram.
It would be great to see it in action and with the real scales, it looked to be a little more bigger that the standard ISD in the hologram. ^^
Yeah, I came to this vid JUST for that little frame in the trailer.
This is my new favorite ship in canon. In episode 9 I want to see a starhawk take a resurgent star destroyer in its tractor beams and yeet it into another star destroyer.
Yeet that bitch
It would be Awesome if they show some in a live action movie!! Great video/review!👍☯️👍
Best new ship since the Resurgent-Class Battlecruiser.
Yup.

If they don’t have this in ep. 9 then I’ll be pissed. Even though I don’t have much hope for that movie anyway.
I think @MetaNerdz Lore would love my mark two starhawk
Play squadrons. Trust me. The thing on the front is NOT a hangar bay.
Kinda makes you wonder what the rebels were going to do with such a large array of tractor beams?
I love the design of this ship as it almost feels like if SW tried to design a ship from battlefleet gothic with it's verticality and broadside hangers/batteries.
Is it only me or does it look a lot like the Gravestone from the old republic mmo? Plz make a video om that ship! (Unless i am being stupid and you alredy have done that...)
Lord Crazy von Weirdo IIIIIV I agree!
