This is most definetly possible that stroll leaves if ARAMCO gets a controlling stake. I think Fernando may stay at Aston Martin, Sainz gets boxes ticked with them. He gets stability, likely a 3-4 year contract, and a title fight with the Honda engines and the potential Arrival of Adrian Newey.

I think this driver market showcases how special it is to be named a F1 driver. It seems there are at least 30 individuals who could find themselves in one of the 20 seats. The fact there are only 20 f1 drivers in the world means you have to be truly special to make it to the top level. I love Yuki, Bottas, Zhou, Danny Ric, Gasly, Sargeant, Lawson, Kmag and some of the f2 drivers. It's crazy and sad to think that many of them could find themselves without seats because of how selective F1 is.

  • @Stefan8u
    @Stefan8u Месяц назад +1

I can see Bottas going to Williams, I think the more gentle approach to their drivers would work and the connection with Vowles .
    Albon remains at Williams
Zhou going to Haas, he's a good driver for the midfield and I think they'd like his money.
I think Bearman would go to Haas on a minimum 2 year deal with Haas making the most of the Ferrari connection and improving it.
Hulkenberg to Sauber for a German connection and Hulk is a good driver, potentially a great one in a reasonable car.
I think Sainz is the kind of top driver that could adapt to drive the Mercedes for just 25 then Audi in 26. I think both might be happy with a 1 year deal. I think Aston Martin will put in a big offer to Sainz which he'll consider with Lance leaving, but as he's a top driver he'll see how all teams develop this season.
Alonso will stay with Aston, Honda Power and Stroll Senior still investing will keep him there. But slightly too early in the season to say with how teams develop.
I think Perez is out of Red Bull and either Lawson or Tsnoda take the seat alongside Verstappen The other is with VCARB
Gasly will stay with Alpine, as there isn't a better works team available and Ocon will stay if Alpine can't find anyone else.

  • @Robalexe

You didn't even mention Logan at all lol. Since you said you don't think Kimi's going to Merc next year and that Alex likely stays at Williams (cuz you don't think other choices are really realistic), Kimi would then take Logan's seat. Toto really doesn't want to lose Kimi, and a year of experience in F1 would be far more valuable than a 2nd year in F2.

  • @TheBanDitMemer

Max in an Aston isn’t as wild as you think. Lawrence would offer him a record breaking contract and with the Honda power unit coming, it is a possibility and a considerable option for max. But tbh I think we all just want him to leave so we can see Carlos win a championship at Red Bull. Also, it would release the pressure on Horner and Marco to manage all of their youth. I think the really difficult team to discern is Faenza RB. It feels like there's been a power balance shift at Red Bull, in Christian Horners favour. I can feel it in Helmut Markos media comments, he seems less confident in saying what he wants. I feel like Tsunoda and Lawson are Marko picks. Horner probably wants Daniel Ricciardo to stay, but if he keeps disappointing, I'm not sure who Horner will want to drive for that team, or, what influence, if any, the likes of Bayer and Mekkies will have.
Also on Red Bull, with everything that's gone on behind the scenes, I think Sergio Perez staying makes a lot of sense. He's a neutral person, a stabilising force. If he can at least help the team secure the constructors championship, why ditch him? He's the only guy there that's got everyone's back.

I think this weekend in Japan will play a major role in the upcoming silly season. My bet is that Papa Stroll along with the Honda execs book a small private room at a local airstrip and give Max and his agent Raymond "the keys to the kingdom" sales pitch. It's a long shot sure but if the nuclear bomb blows at Red Bull, Aston Martin Honda is the logical move for team Max heading into the 2026 regulation change. My bet is that if a deal gets done, it will get done this year but the move will not take place untile 2026. Max is not gonna leave another potential WDC on the table in 2025.

I'd say Ric's seat should not be as guaranteed as you make it out to be. Yuki is beating him comfortably as of right now. For Ric's seat to be safe he needs to step up. I'm looking at it very much like the Kyvat-Max decision into the 2016. After it was announced that Max would stay with TR and Kyvat kept his seat at RB, people made points that Max should have gotten that RB seat (which he did 5th race into the season). To me, it looks like Lawson should have gotten that seat over Ric.

Yuki moves to Aston replacing stroll - probably won’t happen but surely at some point his dad will realise that he shouldn’t be in the car. And yuki is performing well at the moment.
Then Lawson takes yuki seat cause he’s earned it. I think Daniel isn’t gonna be in f1 next year if he is he will likely stay and then get beaten by Lawson in 25 and then be out.
For Mercedes I think that they take alonso so it’s alonso russel even for a year because alonso loves new challenges even if it is only for a year
Sainz to redbull replacing checo definitely I believe he would do well there and he used to be a red bull junior
Hass would be bearman and magnussen because hulkeburg will go to sauber. Pourchaire will likely be with sauber too so none of the current sauber drivers will be in f1 this year.
