Hey Michigan plates. Love it. Born in Detroit raised in Saint Clair Shores. I love the rebel, i grabbed a 500 rebel se. Traded in my Honda vtx 1800C. The rebel will do everything you need it too, my only gripe is I wish the tank was bigger.
"It becomes less, and you want more", for some perhaps but adrenalin works in different ways. Some want more and more speed, power. Some are truly affected by not having a Harley, ah, but some just want to cruise around, if traffic is bad go another way or a different time. The sheer enjoyment of riding...
People gonna hate on it, fuck them! That's how i feel. I also have a Honda rebel 500 and i love it.
I too had a 2002 Civic, EX coupe, stick shift!
Best first car no doubt!
I went stepped up over the years and always went bigger as many do. From a CB350 to a 550, to a Shadow 750, to an 1100 Shadow to my present bike, a 1300 VTX, which love and will probably never get rid of. But it would be nice to have a smaller, lighter bike just for short trips into town or just because. The 500 Rebel looks like a good idea or even the 1100 Rebel? I considered a used dirt bike but I'm 69 now and don't think I'd use a dirt bike as it is intended. Now to try to find a used 500 Rebel.
Yea, it's a nice bike to ride around and do short trips on. If you don't mind spending a bit extra, the 1100 could fill some of the acceleration gaps the 500 lacks in. Overall the 500 does a great job around town. They make saddle bags and such for both bikes so you can add storage as well!
Hello bro!!! The 2022 only this colour (mat silver metallic) realised in market on Honda rebel 500 Special edition? The matt axis grey wan only in 2021?
Yeah they made it the SE color for 2022! I didn't realize it was an already previously available color for I believe the base model in 2020. The 2023 SE looks so dope low key wanna trade in for one.

*Flickable*
Don't worry about small. Big isn't going to help you in a sketchy situation. I own this bike (2018), and the ability to fast-change direction and steer outa shit is club I want in my bag. (Also fun af)
Great video Wvlfe. Let's see some more Rebel videos please.
Love the bike!!! do you think it is beginner friendly? I'm 6ft tall with 100kg..52 years old total beginner 😎✌️
As a beginner myself I would say yes! May feel a bit cramped though. I am 5'6"
That Harley didn't speed off to be cool....he speed off because u encroached on his rider space
LOL that's my little brother but sure
You are scared about the size of the bike, but don't even wear a decent driving gears? C'mon dude. Few extra pounds doesn't really help that much with driving only sweater on.
Nah I am scared of me not limiting myself on an higher cc bike but for sure bro
@@JCsWrld96 Always nice too see videos about Rebel 500 thou, such a cool bike.
