Hey man, what's up? Hope you're having a great day. Just wanted to say, you don't need to let your bike warm up for so long. Just let it idle for like a minute and then you can ride. Obviously don't start redlining it immediately. Ride normally for some time and it'll be up to temp by then.
Been looking at the rebel for my first bike my only concerns is knowing when to upshift or downshift I saw u were only going 40 at top gear is that ok to do regularly? I’ve been trying to understand my rpms and what rev matching is
I've driven a manual my whole life so I somewhat just naturally know when to do what now. Lower speed in higher gear can be an issue for sure. You wont have as much torque to get back to speed, but you can down shift if needed. Lots of pros and cons all around. Bike is somewhat different but listen to the engine if it sound like its struggling it probably needs to be shifted. I think you can also get a secondary tachometer. Good idea for a video though! I'll try to cover it soon.
I’m new to riding but I got the clutch pretty well down. I let the bike dictate my shifting but I also kinda have a memory now of the mph to shift at. Basically I let the speed dictate up shifting and downshifting, never shift when speed doesn’t dictate it. Once I realized that it’s much easier to do

Normally I don't, but it hasn't ran in 3 months. I also took a bit longer in the house before I got on lol
