I absolutely love my Honda Rebel. I’m 5’4 and this bike is perfect for me. You’re right, this bike is made for petite people and beginners. This is my first bike and within a few months I’ve already put over 2k miles on it. It handles extremely well for 500cc. It’s a great city bike and it handles the highways just fine. The suspension fits the price tag and modifying the exhaust with a TBR exhaust makes a worlds difference. It’s a cruiser made for people who want to cruise. If you want speed, Honda makes the 1000rr for you. I could go on forever on how much I enjoy riding my Rebel. Thanks for the review. It’s spot on. Taller riders would feel cramped, it’s just not for y’all. FYI, anyone interested in buying this bike, you will need to upgrade the seat. The stock seat is not great. I highly suggest a Mustang Tripper. Also, ABS is the way to go. Oh, and what absolutely beautiful scenery!!!
Your videos are awesome as always! Due to you i started riding this year and, after 4 months of riding and already 10.000km done through Romania, now i m in a moto trip in Italy. Starting riding is the best thing i ve ever done and i m so thankful to you, Alex! As an idea, if u wanna take this into consideration, it would be great if u make reviews also for SH bikes. I think all your subscribers from Romania want to give u their bikes for a nice review on the channel. If u want to do this, my NC 700S will be proud to be on your channel. :)
Hi from Virginia in the US, Alex! I'm a beginner rider (5'2"/158 cm) and my Rebel 500 fits me pretty well. My biggest problem is getting my Lady Pilot boot's toe under the gear shift. I also have Viking bags on the back which I've found make it kind of awkward for an easy dismount, but these are all minor. Safe riding everybody!
Insane how you highlight the seat height and seat position as a regular eastern European compared to an Anglo-Saxon one (F9, Freddie Dobbs...)who would say it's just the bomber character!!
Considering the first time i got on it and wanted to set of I had to adjust my seating positing because my right leg cramped up immediately it made a lasting impression how low it is =))
It is not a cruiser, it is a new standard. Look at the fork angle. Put a thick seat on it and stand back and look. It is a standard made to look like a cruiser. This is a good thing as it makes it easier and safer to drive.
Great review as always. I\m waiting for the CFMoto CLC 450 to arrive and then do the comparison before buying one. Price is of the essence...since you have to sell a kidney to buy a new motorcycle nowadays :)
That is why I tell every one to go sit on a bike don't take just my height for reference, inseam is very different for each of us even if we have the same total height. 👍
Hi Alex I hope to seek your view. If you are 1.7m, which would you choose, Meteo 650 or Rebel 500? And help me with 5 comparison points. Thank you so much!
It’s because the bolt is a much lower quality motorcycle. (Plastic steering bearings that cause death wobble and zip ties to hold wires from the factory, among other cut corners from Yamaha.) And it’s air cooled, inferior to the Rebel’s liquid cooled engines. It’s also not all about CC’s. There are many other factors that go into getting a bike, CC’s should be relatively low on the list.

Put a lot of miles on it, for your height it should fit like a glove and is an awesome motorcycle! :D
The shifter is adjustable. Sounds like you need to raise it a bit. Plenty of RUclips videos on how to do it. Easy peasy! Have fun and be safe!

@@RideWithAlex That makes more sense, apology accepted!😊😁👍
Honda build quality is always great. But that Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650... Has to be the pick!
@@Cj-nu7nx the super meteor had way more character than this.
Maybe Alex has fat lower limbs, bad peripheral blood circulation and thus, the disconfort he feels?
It would make sense to try to get for a testride the Kawa Vulcan 650. I think these 2 are competitors. Nice ride & chat as usual. Keep up!
Thanks! 👍

Very nice review man, awesome ride! Cheers from Moldova!
Thank you

Hey brother I’m also 175 cm but I must have a shorter inseam than you because it fits just right🤙🏼
That is why I tell every one to go sit on a bike don't take just my height for reference, inseam is very different for each of us even if we have the same total height. 👍
I am also 175, and the seatheight is great and comfortable. Its a cruiser. I think, you need a streetfighter… ;)
I like a cruiser position, but I prefer forward controls and the rebel comes stock with mid controls.
Hi Alex
I hope to seek your view.

Thank you so much!
im 184 cm high. i'm realy interested in this bike. do you recommand?
At 184 clearly no. Test ride one and see for yourself but I think it's too small for you.
Nice bike, but the price similar to the Yamaha bolt which is approximately 1000 cc, so the bolt is better in my opinion.
Depends on the market, here at least the Bolt is not in Yamaha's line-up.

Brill video, love watching your bike rides/reviews but what’s happened to the cb750 Hornet?
Got there too late and didn't have time to ride it 🤷🏻♂️
@@RideWithAlex next time? Would love to see your review
I was cramped on the classic rebel 250, and I'm not that tall......😂🤣
Haven't ridden the old school rebel :))
I sat on one the other day and at 165 cms it felt small to me.
=)))))
Is it fit for 180cm tall?
Go to showroom and try it out, I think you might be too tall.
@@RideWithAlex 👍
These are not ‘beginner bikes’ they are for refined riders.
:))
But it's fun motorcycle or not ,have all the power
182 cm could be ok?
You have to try it for yourself but I think you're too tall for it.
hi brother whats your height
175cm
How is the consumer is economic
Slippery clutch, I guess?...
Probably, or just a good gearbox.
It IS a slipper/assist clutch after all. It’s designed to be easy to pull and quick to engage. So it makes sense he’s able to do this.
