Nice video! I just picked up the rebel 500. After selling my Duke 390. I’m 5’6 so input some bar risers on so I’m not so hunched forward. I also put the Red Dragon forward controls on it to make it more cruiser ish 😂. I love the smoothness. Just wish it had a slightly bigger engine. I think the 1100 is more than I want. I'm a new rider. The fastest highway in Nova Scotia is the 102. Yesterday, I took that highway instead of the twisty secondary roads to BIL's 'cause I was late. What do you think about shock absorbers when going into potholes? Does a low sitting position with a straight back cause road surface vibrations to be reflected into the back?
@@Finalesc234 Thank you for your question about the shock absorbers on Honda Rebel. The rear shock absorbers have five levels of adjustment from softest to the most stiff. I have set mine to one which is the lowest - soft. Even when shock absorbers are set to the lowest soft setting and I go over a bump, pothole on the road it is a good idea to hold onto the handlebars as much as possible because I would be jumping up in that saddle, but when I go down a level road, it feels good. It gets really bumpy on very rough areas of the road. Let me know if that answered your question. I would be happy to answer any other questions you might have. Happy riding!
Hi from Mariupol,Ukraine. How is this bike in dynamics ? it's clear not as nimble as CBR, but anyway - how easy to accelerate in city regime, between the cars ?
@@ForestMarkson How is it going bro!?! I’m from Ukraine too. Great to have you on my channel. Great questions 👍🏻Rebel 500 is a cruiser bike. The suspension is adjustable, but even in the lowest setting it rides stiff, sometimes the ride can get very bumpy.
