Very cool. I've never forgotten to lock my car but I AM very forgetful. I can't be surprised at myself if I ever did forget to lock my car so this would help. Now I have to just get rich so I can afford the Touring model! 😂
If you relay on the walk away autolock feature or the key fob to lock the door, it will be a huge security risk. The car can be still unlock from inside using the switch located on the driver's side door panel and open the door without the alarm going off. However, if you locked the car by pressing the button on the outside door handle, it cannot be unlocked from inside. I learned this the hard way when someone broke into my car by simply unlocking the car from inside and open the door without the security alarm going off.

Haven't read the manual yet, but was not able to download system updates, no WiFi in parking lot, no USB cable & couldn't get the system to recognize the smartphone even though it is already linked & I'm able to send receive texts using the dashboard screen. A how to video please???
In a scenario where you start your car in the morning to go to work, school, etc. but you realize you forgot something inside your home and stepped out to get that item, ( without turning the ignition off) will the car auto lock then?

My 2016 Civic Touring has this same feature which is great. One question though......sometimes it beeps once when I close the drivers door after parking and then once more as I'm walking away. Other times it beeps repeatedly for a few seconds and then stops. In both instances the doors are locked and I'm the only occupant with no other passenger. I'm just wondering why it beeps differently at times?
I have quick question, i have honda accord 2018 touring model. i am from canada. what if my car is on, and i am 20m to 30m away, should the car get lock by itself when engine is on and 30m far from the car? My car is not getting locked by itself when i am leaving a car about 30m with engine on. please reply to my message, ASAP.

+Rod Jooyan are you using apple or android? If you are using android, you will need to download the application android auto.
I have android that is maxed out on memory. Waiting for Black Friday to upgrade my phone. I'll then get the app you mentioned. Thanks
